Exploring the Secrets of Tangjiabao
Lin Yu and Su Na stood on a winding mountain road, surrounded by lush forest. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, creating patches of dappled light and shadow. Their gaze was fixed on the Tang Family Fort in Shu, hidden among the mountains, ahead, their hearts filled with anxiety and anticipation.
Lin Yu was dressed in a black suit with a sharp sword at his waist. His eyes were firm and sharp, revealing a resolute courage. Suna, on the other hand, was dressed in a light blue dress that fluttered in the wind. She held an exquisite staff in her hand, and a solemn expression graced her beautiful face.
"Suna, this mission is not easy. Tangjiabao has always been mysterious and unpredictable. We must be careful." Lin Yu turned to look at Suna, his voice low and serious.
Suna nodded slightly, bit her lip and said, "I know, but as long as we are together, we will be able to complete the task." Her eyes were full of trust in Lin Yu.
The two continued along the mountain path, finally arriving at the gates of Tangjiabao. The towering walls coiled like a giant dragon, their gray bricks weathered by time, appearing both weathered and majestic. Two guards stood at the gate, clad in black armor and armed with spears. Their eagle-like gazes coldly scrutinized every approaching stranger.
"Who are you?" the guard shouted loudly, his voice echoing in the valley with an unquestionable majesty.
Lin Yu stepped forward and said calmly, "We are here to investigate the case in the castle." He looked directly at the guard without any hesitation.
The guard sneered, a trace of disdain flashing in his eyes: "When will it be the turn of outsiders to interfere in the affairs of Tangjiabao?" He swung his spear horizontally, blocking the way of Lin Yu and Suna.
Suna quickly explained, "This matter is of great importance and involves many innocent lives. I hope you can give me some relief." Her voice was clear and urgent, and her eyes were full of sincerity.
The guard frowned and looked them up and down. "Just you? Humph, the secrets of Tang Family Castle are not something you can easily explore."
Lin Yu took a deep breath and said, "We are assigned by our superiors and come here with a mission. If you don't let us in and delay important matters, you can't afford it." His tone was firm, revealing an aura that could not be refused.
The guards hesitated and looked at each other, as if in silent communication.
"Okay, you can go in, but you must follow our arrangements in everything inside the castle, otherwise you will bear the consequences." The guard finally made way, but his eyes were still full of vigilance.
Lin Yu and Suna entered the fortress, and as soon as they set foot inside, they were immediately struck by a chilling atmosphere. The buildings within the fortress were arranged in an orderly fashion, with flying eaves, brackets, carved beams, and painted rafters, but an oppressive atmosphere permeated the air. The houses on both sides of the narrow streets were tightly closed, as if hiding countless secrets.
Lin Yu whispered to Suna, "Be careful, there's something weird going on here." His hand unconsciously rested on the hilt of the sword.
Suna nodded and followed Lin Yu closely, the gem on the staff flashing faintly.
The streets were deserted, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing in the silence. Suddenly, a cold wind blew, causing the corners of their clothes to flutter.
"Why is the wind so eerie?" Suna couldn't help but shiver.
"Don't be afraid, maybe it's caused by the special layout of the castle." Lin Yu comforted, but his eyes were also full of vigilance.
As they cautiously explored the castle, the surroundings became increasingly eerie. Shadows on the walls seemed to wriggle, and strange noises could be heard from corners.
"Lin Yu, I always feel like there are eyes staring at us." Suna's voice trembled.
"I feel the same way, but don't panic, stay calm." Lin Yu said, with beads of sweat already oozing out of his forehead.
Suddenly, a scream broke the silence. The scream was shrill and desperate, echoing in the castle and making people shudder.
The two exchanged glances and quickly ran towards the sound, their nervousness growing stronger as they passed through narrow alleys and jumped over thresholds.
Arriving in front of a courtyard, the gate was closed, but the screams came from inside. Lin Yu kicked the gate open, and a strong smell of blood hit him in the face.
In the courtyard, a man collapsed to the ground, his face purple and eyes wide open, his death horrific. The surrounding flowers and plants seemed to be enveloped by this terrifying aura, withering and dying.
"This...what's going on?" Suna covered her mouth and almost vomited.
Lin Yu squatted down and carefully examined the deceased's wound: "It seems that he died of poisoning, but this poison..."
At this moment, a sinister laugh suddenly came from all around.
"Hahahaha, now that you're here, don't even think about getting out alive!"
Lin Yu and Su Na stood up suddenly and looked around, but could not see anyone.
"Who is it? Come out!" Lin Yu shouted loudly.
"Hmph, you want to know who I am? You are not qualified!" The voice echoed all around, making it impossible to determine its source.
Su Na grabbed Lin Yu's arm tightly: "Lin Yu, I'm scared."
Lin Yu held Su Na's hand: "Don't be afraid, I'm here."
Suddenly, countless hidden weapons came from all directions. Lin Yu drew his sword and swung it, knocking the weapons down one after another.
"Let's go!" Lin Yu pulled Su Na and rushed towards the exit of the courtyard.
But a group of men in black suddenly appeared at the exit and blocked their way.
"You can't escape!" said the leader of the men in black coldly.
Lin Yu and Suna stood back to back, facing the enemy, their hearts filled with determination.
"Even if we die, we must uncover the secret here!" Lin Yu said loudly.
A fierce battle is about to begin...
