Battle in the Castle
Faced with this sudden appearance of men in black, Lin Yu and Suna's nerves were instantly strained to the breaking point. Lin Yu's eyes were sharp as lightning, and the sword in his hand gleamed with an icy gleam in the sunlight, like a venomous snake ready to strike. He leaned forward slightly, his muscles tense, every inch of his strength ready to be unleashed. Suna gripped her staff tightly, the gemstone on it gleaming with a mysterious light. She muttered something to herself, beads of sweat dripping from her forehead as she nervously prepared to cast a spell.
The men in black, like a black torrent, launched a furious attack. Wielding sharp blades, their eyes filled with ferocity and determination, they roared deeply, surging like a tidal wave. Their momentum seemed to engulf Lin Yu and Suna in an instant.
"Suna, be careful!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice filled with anxiety and concern. He swung his sword in front of him, forming an impenetrable sword curtain, shooting down the hidden weapons shot at Suna one after another.
Suna nodded in response, a glint of determination in her eyes. "Don't worry, Lin Yu!" She took a deep breath and swung her staff. A brilliant beam of light shot out from the tip, streaking through the darkness like a bolt of lightning. Wherever the light reached, several approaching enemies were repelled by the powerful force and fell to the ground.
"Everyone, come together and don't let them run away!" The leader of the men in black shouted loudly, his voice echoing in the courtyard with a terrifying majesty.
The battle intensified, the air thick with the smell of blood and sweat. Lin Yu's sword darted between the enemies, each swing accompanied by a sharp whistling sound, and blood splattered, staining his clothes red. But the enemies kept coming, as if they would never be completely slain.
Although Suna's spells were powerful, each use consumed a lot of her physical strength and energy. Her breathing became rapid and her face gradually turned pale, but she still gritted her teeth and insisted on providing support for Lin Yu.
"Lin Yu, I can't hold on any longer!" Suna shouted, with a hint of fatigue and despair in her voice.
"Hold on a little longer, Suna! We will definitely be able to get out!" Lin Yu encouraged loudly, with an unyielding fire burning in his eyes.
At this moment, Lin Yu discovered the flaw of the man in black. It was a split second, a brief moment of confusion in the enemy's attack rhythm.
"Suna, cover me!" Lin Yu shouted, his voice full of determination.
Suna understood and waved her staff again, and a powerful light burst out, illuminating the entire courtyard. In the light, the enemy's movements instantly became slow, creating a great opportunity for Lin Yu.
Lin Yu took the opportunity to break through the black-clad men's defenses. His figure appeared in front of the black-clad men's leader like a ghost. He pointed his sword at the leader's throat at such a speed that the leader had no time to react.
"Tell me, who ordered you to do this?" Lin Yu shouted angrily. His voice was like thunder, exploding in the leader's ears.
The leader's expression changed drastically, a flicker of fear flashing across his eyes, but then his expression returned to indifference. "You won't get any information from me!" he gritted his teeth.
At that moment, a melodious flute note emanated from deep within the fort. The sound was like a plaintive wail, as if emanating from a distant netherworld, carrying with it a mysterious and eerie power. Upon hearing the flute, the men in black retreated like a tide, their movements unified and unwavering, without the slightest hesitation.
Lin Yu and Su Na looked in the direction where the man in black disappeared, their hearts filled with confusion and vigilance.
"The sound of the flute is strange. Let's follow it and take a look." Lin Yu said, his eyes full of curiosity.
Su Na hesitated for a moment and said, "Lin Yu, this might be a trap."
Lin Yu frowned, thought for a moment and said, "But this may be the key to solving the mystery. We can't let this opportunity go."
Suna nodded, "Okay, let's be careful then."
The two men followed the direction the man in black had retreated, cautiously following the path and alert to any movement around them. The road became narrower and narrower, with towering walls on both sides, as if to squeeze them in.
Finally, they arrived at a mysterious attic. A thick fog, so dense it seemed almost tangible, made it impossible to see what was inside. From time to time, faint sounds could be heard from the fog, as if countless ghosts were whispering.
"Lin Yu, I feel so eerie here." Su Na's voice trembled, and her hand unconsciously grasped the corner of Lin Yu's clothes.
Lin Yu took a deep breath and said, "Don't be afraid, Suna, I'm here." He walked forward slowly, holding the sword tightly in his hand, ready to deal with any danger that might arise.
As they approached the attic, a powerful force emanated from it, pushing them backwards.
"What's going on?" Suna exclaimed.
Lin Yu steadied himself and said, "No matter what it is, we have to go in and take a look."
They tried to approach the attic again, and every step they took felt extremely difficult, as if they were fighting a desperate battle with an invisible force.
Finally, they arrived at the door of the attic. It was tightly closed, and engraved with strange symbols and patterns, exuding a mysterious and ancient atmosphere.
Lin Yu reached out and gently pushed the door. The door slowly opened, and a cold breath rushed towards him. It was dark inside, and he could not see anything...
