The Final Battle
The monsters roared and charged at them, like a surging black tide, carrying with them an endless breath of malice and death. Their mouths belched a foul stench, their sharp fangs gleaming a chilling cold light in the sunlight. Lin Yu was the first to wield a torch and smash it at the foremost monster, his eyes burning with rage and determination.
"Suna, get behind me!" Lin Yu shouted. His voice echoed in the empty hall, carrying an undeniable determination. Lin Yu's heartbeat was pounding, each beat like the roar of a war drum. He knew he had to protect Suna and the old man, even if it cost him his life.
Su Na clutched the corner of Lin Yu's clothes tightly, her whole body trembling like a leaf in the wind. Her eyes were filled with fear and helplessness, but deep within this fear, there was also trust and dependence on Lin Yu. "Lin Yu, you must be careful." Her voice was as soft as a mosquito, but it was filled with deep concern.
The old man stood firm, his weathered eyes gleaming with determination. He brandished his dagger, each swing reflecting years of combat experience and an unyielding will. "Come on, you vile beasts!" the old man roared, his voice filled with contempt for the monsters and a thirst for survival.
For a moment, the hall was filled with shouts of killing and the roars of monsters. These sounds intertwined to form a terrifying yet passionate battle symphony.
Lin Yu's torch gradually died out, its warm, faint glow vanishing into the darkness, leaving only the ferocious faces and gleaming red eyes of the surrounding monsters. But he didn't flinch, battling the monsters with his bare hands. Each attack involved exhausting all his strength, and each evasion displayed his agility and tenacity.
"Lin Yu, be careful!" Su Na warned in panic. Her voice became sharp and piercing due to extreme nervousness. Her heart seemed to be beating out of her throat, and she dared not take her eyes off Lin Yu for a moment.
Lin Yu dodged the monster's attack by leaning sideways, its sharp claws barely scraping his cheek. He then kicked the monster, the powerful force forcing it back a few steps. However, more monsters seized the opportunity to surround him, trapping him in the middle.
"Damn it!" Lin Yu cursed, sweat running down his forehead, blurring his vision. But he still didn't give up. He had only one belief in his heart, which was to protect Suna and the old man and get out of this predicament.
The old man gradually lost strength, his breathing became rapid and heavy. In the fight with a huge monster, he was accidentally knocked to the ground by the monster.
"Old man!" Lin Yu and Suna exclaimed in unison. Lin Yu wanted to rush over to help the old man, but the monsters around him tightly entangled him, making it impossible for him to escape.
Suna was so anxious that she looked around for something to help them. Suddenly, she found a sharp stone. She picked it up and rushed towards the monsters, trying to distract them.
"Go away, you monsters!" Suna shouted loudly and smashed the monsters with the stone in her hand.
The monsters were enraged by Suna's actions and turned to pounce on her.
Lin Yu was extremely anxious when he saw this scene. "Suna, run!" He struggled to get rid of the monster around him and rushed towards Suna.
Just as the monster was about to pounce on Suna, Lin Yu arrived. He pulled Suna behind him and used his body to block the monster's attack.
"Lin Yu!" Su Na's tears burst out.
Lin Yu gritted his teeth and endured the monster's attack. Wounds appeared on his body, and blood stained his clothes red. But he still stood firm, like an insurmountable mountain.
"I won't let you hurt her!" Lin Yu roared and fought back again.
The old man also got up from the ground and rejoined the battle. Although he was injured, the fighting spirit in his eyes was even stronger.
"We will definitely defeat them!" the old man shouted.
At this critical moment, the three of them were filled with courage and determination, and they cooperated and supported each other in the final desperate fight with the monster.
The atmosphere in the hall was extremely tense, and every second was filled with danger and uncertainty. The monsters' attacks became more and more fierce, and Lin Yu and his men's resistance became more and more tenacious.
Just when they were about to be exhausted, Lin Yu suddenly discovered a flaw in the monsters.
"Follow me!" he shouted, leading Suna and the old man to launch a final charge towards the flaw.
Their figures shuttled among the monsters, each attack carrying the last hope and strength. Finally, the monsters began to collapse and fled the hall.
Lin Yu, Suna and the old man collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. Their bodies were covered with wounds, but their eyes were filled with the joy of victory and the cherishment of life.
"We did it..." Lin Yu said weakly.
Suna and the old man nodded, their faces filled with relief. They knew that this difficult battle was only a part of their long journey, and that more challenges awaited them in the future. But for now, they savored this hard-earned victory...
