Episode 180: Dawn of Victory

Dawn of Victory

After a fierce battle, Lin Yu, Suna, and the old man finally repelled the monster. The entire hall was filled with the smell of blood and gunpowder. The monster's corpses lay scattered on the ground, along with weapons and torn clothes that had been dropped in the battle. They lay on the ground, gasping for breath, their bodies almost unable to move due to exhaustion. Every breath felt like immense pain, and every muscle trembled with soreness.

"We're still alive..." Suna's voice was weak, tinny and feeble in the empty hall. Her face was covered in dust and blood, her hair matted to her forehead, but her eyes gleamed with relief at having survived. Her heart was still trembling from the thrilling battle, every terrifying moment replaying in her mind. But now, the joy of being alive gradually took over, bringing her a sense of comfort.

Lin Yu forced a smile, a smile tinged with endless exhaustion and pain. "Yes, we made it." His voice was hoarse and low, as if forced from the depths of his throat. He looked at Suna, his eyes filled with tenderness and determination. He knew that to protect Suna and the old man, any effort he made was worth it. His body was covered in wounds, and blood oozed continuously, but he seemed to feel no pain, only gratitude for survival.

The old man gazed thoughtfully at the cavernous ceiling, where sunlight streamed in. Like a holy light from heaven, it illuminated their dark world. His face was etched with the marks of time, each wrinkle a testament to his vicissitudes and resilience. "Perhaps this is fate guiding us, giving us hope." His voice was filled with profound emotion, as if he had grasped the true meaning of life through this life-or-death ordeal.

After a short rest, they supported each other and stood up. Lin Yu's arm was tightly wrapped around Suna's shoulders, giving her strength and support. Suna leaned on Lin Yu, her steps unsteady, as if she would collapse at any moment. Although the old man was frail, his eyes remained firm. He walked in front, guiding them.

They began to look around, searching for a path to the cave entrance. Strange lights flickered on the walls of the hall, pulsing and pulsing like living things. The ground was covered in potholes and cracks, making it easy to fall.

Suddenly, a slight tremor was heard. It seemed to come from deep within the earth, carrying a mysterious and terrifying power.

"What is this?" Su Na nervously grasped Lin Yu's arm, her voice filled with fear and anxiety. Her body instantly became stiff, and her eyes looked around in horror, as if something even more terrifying would happen in the next second.

Lin Yu observed his surroundings warily, his eyes sharp and focused. "I don't know, but we have to be careful." His voice was low and serious, and his heartbeat quickened again, his nerves, which had just relaxed, tensed up again. His hand unconsciously tightened around Suna's, giving her comfort and courage.

The old man stopped and listened attentively to the vibrations. "This vibration is unusual. There may be new dangers approaching." His voice was filled with worry and caution.

As the shaking intensified, cracks began to appear in the surrounding walls and small rocks fell from overhead.

"Oh no, this place might collapse!" Lin Yu shouted loudly.

Suna's eyes were filled with despair: "We just escaped a disaster, but now we are going to die here again?"

Lin Yu gritted his teeth and said, "No, we will definitely find a way out!"

They quickened their pace, searching for a safe passage in the hall. The tremors grew stronger, and the ground shook so hard that it was impossible to stand still.

"Look, there seems to be a passage over there!" the old man shouted, pointing to a dark corner.

They walked arduously in that direction, each step filled with danger and uncertainty.

Just as they were about to reach the entrance of the passage, a huge rock fell from the sky, blocking their way.

"Damn it!" Lin Yu cursed.

Suna couldn't help crying: "Can we really not leave?"

The old man took a deep breath and said, "Don't give up. Let's push this stone away together!"

They used all their strength to try to push the huge stone. Sweat soaked their clothes and their arms trembled from the effort.

"One, two, three, push!" Lin Yu shouted slogans loudly.

With their joint efforts, the stone was finally pushed away, and they quickly entered the passage and continued running forward.

The passage was filled with a smell of dampness and decay, and the walls were covered with unknown vines.

"I don't know where this passage leads to." There was a hint of confusion in Suna's voice.

Lin Yu comforted her: "No matter where it leads to, it's better than staying here."

They groped their way forward in the darkness, their hearts filled with fear of the unknown and the desire to survive. Suddenly, a strange sound came from the front, like someone whispering.

"Who is it?" Lin Yu asked vigilantly.

But no one answered, only the strange sound echoed in the passage, making people feel creepy.

Their pace slowed down, their heartbeats quickened. Just then, a dark shadow passed by them.

"Ah!" Suna screamed.

Lin Yu clenched his fists: "Don't be afraid, it might just be the wind."

However, they all knew in their hearts that this was no ordinary sound of wind. In this dark passage, it seemed that more unknown horrors were waiting for them...
