Cooperation and Preparation
After deciding to cooperate with the mysterious woman, Bureau 749 immediately entered a period of intense preparation. The atmosphere in the bureau was like a wound-up spring, and everyone's nerves were on edge.
The director solemnly gathered everyone together in a spacious but slightly dated conference room and began to plan the next move in detail. Heavy curtains blocked the sunlight from the window, making the lights inside appear particularly dim and casting shadows.
"We must first understand the specific circumstances of the evil forces and their plans of action before we can formulate an effective response strategy," the director declared solemnly, his voice echoing through the hushed conference room with unquestionable authority. He stood before a large wooden conference table, his hands resting on the surface, his body leaning forward slightly, his gaze sweeping across everyone's face.
Lin Yu sat at one side of the conference table, his eyes focused and determined. Hearing the director's words, he volunteered, "I can use the bureau's intelligence network to gather relevant information." His voice was decisive and forceful, as if he was prepared to face any challenge. He thought to himself, "No matter what, I must find the key clue and not let anyone down."
Su Na sat next to Lin Yu, her expression serious and tense. "I'll prepare some necessary magic props and protective gear, just in case," she said softly, her hands unconsciously clenching. A list of various magic props quickly flashed through her mind, wondering how to prepare them all within the limited time.
The old man sat at the other end of the conference table. He narrowed his eyes slightly, pondered for a moment, and said, "I will study some ancient witch spells to see if I can find a way to restrain the evil forces." His voice was steady and vicissitudes, with years of experience and wisdom.
The mysterious woman listened quietly, feeling a little surprised and relieved by the professionalism and unity of the crowd. However, her eyes still revealed a hint of worry and anxiety. After all, this operation concerned the future of the Wu Clan.
In the following days, Bureau 749 was very busy.
Lin Yu worked tirelessly day and night, sifting and analyzing intelligence gathered from various channels. He sat in a room cluttered with computers and documents, the walls covered with clues and diagrams. Light streamed down from overhead, casting shadows across his face. His eyes were bloodshot, yet he remained glued to the computer screen, grasping every possible glimpse of useful information. "This information is so disjointed. Where is the key?" he fretted, his fingers tapping away at the keyboard.
Suna searched the warehouse, a place thick with an air of antiquity, searching for the right props. The shelves were filled with a variety of items, some radiating a mysterious glow, others eerie and terrifying. She climbed up and down, sweating profusely, but she dared not slack off. "This one won't work, and that one doesn't seem right either..." she muttered to herself as she continued her search.
The old man shut himself in his study, deep in thought, poring over the ancient tomes of the witch clan. The room was filled with thick books and ancient scrolls, and the air was thick with the scent of stale paper. His brow furrowed, his pen scribbling on the paper. "These ancient spells, I hope to find a way to overcome evil..." he muttered to himself.
The mysterious woman wasn't idle either. She unreservedly shared everything she knew about the evil forces. She sat in a small room, before a group of members of Bureau 749 who listened intently. "The leader of this evil force is an extremely powerful and cruel individual. He wields a dark magic that can manipulate the human mind..." Her voice was low and heavy, as if she were recalling a painful memory.
One day, Lin Yu came running in excitedly. His hair was disheveled, his clothes dusty, but his eyes sparkled with excitement. "I've found some important clues! Evil forces appear to be preparing a massive, dark ritual in an ancient castle." His voice trembled with excitement.
Everyone gathered around, looking at the intelligence Lin Yu presented. It was a series of blurry photos and encrypted documents. While not very clear, it was shocking enough. The director frowned, his fingers tapping lightly on the table. "Looks like we need to speed up." His voice was filled with urgency.
The mysterious woman said, "I know that castle. It was once a forbidden place of the witch clan and is full of dangers." Her face turned pale and her eyes revealed deep fear.
"But this is also our best chance to stop them." Suna said firmly, her eyes full of determination. "No matter how dangerous it is, we can't retreat."
The director nodded, his gaze sweeping across the crowd. "Everyone, get ready. We're about to face a fierce battle." His voice echoed throughout the room, igniting the flames of battle in everyone's hearts.
As the operation date approached, the atmosphere in the bureau grew increasingly tense. Everyone was making final preparations, checking their equipment, reviewing their spells, and silently praying for the success of the operation.
At night, Lin Yu lay in bed, unable to fall asleep. He stared at the ceiling, thinking about the upcoming battle. "I don't know if we can succeed, but no matter what, I'm going to give it my all." He turned over, closed his eyes, and tried to calm himself down.
Suna sorted her magic props in the room, her hands gently caressing each item as if communicating with them. "I hope these props will be useful at the critical moment." She took a deep breath and encouraged herself.
The old man sat by the window, looking out at the night. "This battle is about too many things..." He sighed, his eyes filled with determination.
The mysterious woman sat in a dark corner, her eyes flickering with complex emotions. "This is the hope of the witch clan, and also my salvation..." She clenched her fists, waiting for the dawn.
