A life-or-death battle and a glimmer of hope
Lin Yu, Suna, and the Gu Po, determined to die, rushed like a group of fearless warriors towards the mysterious figure standing in the center of the huge magic circle. The mysterious figure was surrounded by a strange black mist, and a twisted and crazy smile was on his face. That smile was like a demon crawling out of the depths of hell, and he was sure that they could not stop his evil plan.
Lin Yu, eyes ablaze with rage, launched the attack. His hands danced rapidly, his voice muttering to himself as he directed the Gu worms at the mysterious man like a torrential rain. The Gu worms flashed with iridescent light, tracing dazzling and deadly paths through the air. Each ray of light carried Lin Yu's rage towards the mysterious man and his unwavering determination to save the Miao region. Like a precise arrow, they struck the mysterious man's vital points. The mysterious man snorted coldly, his voice filled with disdain and arrogance. He slowly swung the sinister-emitting staff in his hand, and instantly, a wave of black energy surged out like a surging tide, colliding head-on with Lin Yu's Gu worms. In an instant, light shimmered in all directions, the iridescent light intertwining and colliding with the black energy, erupting in a fierce radiance that threatened to illuminate the entire mine. The impact of energy was like a powerful and violent hurricane, raging in the mine. The wind was howling, making everyone's clothes rustle and their hair fly wildly, as if it was going to drag them into an endless vortex of darkness.
Seizing this moment, Suna's eyes flashed as she swiftly unleashed her Gu magic. Her slender fingers formed hand seals in the air, and she whispered an incantation, summoning a swarm of Gu insects with the power of binding. These insects, as slender as silk threads yet incredibly resilient, shimmered faintly in the darkness as they silently flew towards the mysterious man, like a deadly trap hidden in the darkness. The mysterious man, keenly aware of Suna's movements, felt a sense of danger and attempted to evade. However, Lin Yu's Gu insects' fierce attack was like a storm, leaving him unable to maneuver and unable to escape. The Gu insect threads quickly wrapped around the mysterious man's legs, like nimble snakes, tightly binding him and trying to pin him to the ground. Sensing danger, a flicker of panic crossed the mysterious man's face. He struggled, a powerful dark force erupting from him as he struggled to break free. Like a roaring beast, the dark force furiously attacked the Gu insect threads, emitting a sizzling sound, as if engaging the insects in a life-or-death struggle.
The Gu Po was not slow to act, knowing every second was crucial. Her expression was solemn, as she muttered to herself, her hands forming hand seals like a phantom, unleashing a powerful and ancient Gu technique. As the incantation rang out, a gigantic golden Gu insect slowly flew from her palm, radiating a sacred and dazzling light, like the rising sun, forming a stark and intense contrast with the surrounding darkness, as if to completely dispel the endless darkness. The golden Gu insect flapped its wings, emitting a deep, powerful hum as it flew towards the mysterious figure. Wherever it passed, the darkness dissipated like ice and snow meeting the blazing sun, and the eerie atmosphere within the mines diminished slightly.
The mysterious man sensed the powerful threat posed by the Gu Po, and a sense of foreboding welled up within him. He knew that if he didn't first deal with the golden insect, his plan would be doomed. He decisively gave up trying to break free and focused all his energy on the golden insect. The staff in the mysterious man's hand shone brightly, a glow like a burning black flame, eerie and terrifying. He chanted an evil incantation, his voice deep and raspy, like a call from the depths of hell. As the incantation rang out, a swarm of black phantom insects materialized from thin air, their fangs bared and claws emanating a chilling roar. Like a swarm of hungry demons, they pounced upon the golden insect, attempting to devour it.
The golden insect showed no fear. As if sensing its master's will, its glow intensified, like a burning sun. It charged forward, confronting the phantom insect and engaging in a thrilling, life-or-death struggle. The two collided, unleashing a deafening roar, like a landslide. The walls of the mine trembled violently, sending rubble tumbling down, as if the entire mine were about to collapse in this clash of power.
Seeing the mysterious man's attention drawn to the Gu Po, Lin Yu was secretly delighted. He immediately seized this golden opportunity and intensified his attack. Frowning, he concentrated on controlling the Gu, deftly avoiding the mysterious man's defenses and launching another fierce attack from the side. The mysterious man was busy dealing with the golden Gu, and in a moment of carelessness, he was hit by Lin Yu's Gu. His body trembled slightly, a trace of pain on his face, and his crazy smile instantly twisted.
However, the mysterious man was formidable, and he refused to yield. He roared, his voice filled with rage and resentment, and the dark power within him surged like boiling black magma. This dark power, like a powerful shockwave, instantly broke free from Suna's Gu-insect bonds. He swung his staff, and a bolt of black lightning, like a dragon, slashed towards Lin Yu. Lin Yu was unable to dodge and was struck by the lightning. His body was instantly paralyzed, as if countless steel needles were piercing him simultaneously, leaving him nearly unconscious and nearly falling to the ground.
"Lin Yu!" Suna exclaimed in surprise, her heart filled with worry and fear. A flash of panic crossed her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure. She quickly unleashed her healing Gu technique, and a Gu insect emitting a soft green light flew out of her hand. Like a ray of hope, it quickly flew towards Lin Yu, healing his wounds. The green light enveloped Lin Yu's body, and the numbness gradually eased, and his strength slowly returned.
