Chapter 17 Peng Peng
Peng Peng's doghouse was placed next to the sofa in the living room, with its favorite blanket spread inside. Liu Wangxue bought it two dog bowls, one for drinking water and one for eating dog food.
I don’t know if it was because Liu Wangxue saved it, or because it felt uneasy because it was moved to a strange place, but after coming back, Pengpeng kept sticking to Liu Wangxue.
After lunch, when Liu Wangxue took a nap, it lay beside the bed; when Liu Wangxue sat under the grape trellis to read with a tablet, it jumped onto another rocking chair and lay there quietly.
Liu Wangxue thought it was a shy and quiet golden retriever.
In the afternoon, Li Yu came over and brought some dog food and toys. Tao Huayu also came, bringing some for Yue Cheng and Lan Xiaoxi.
The two of them found it very novel to watch the collision.
Tao Huayu wanted to rub it, but Peng Peng just barked at him and dodged away.
Tao Huayu laughed and scolded: "Hey, you little heartless boy, you ate my food and ignored me before, now you not only eat my food but also play with my toys and won't even let me touch them!"
Li Yu looked at him disapprovingly: "Your perverted method would make any normal dog hide."
"Okay," Tao Huayu grinned and stretched out his hand towards Li Yu, "Then I'll rub you!"
Li Yu's hair was messed up by him, and her face turned red with anger. I hate people who have no sense of boundaries.
Liu Wangxue came over with some cut watermelon and rescued him from the clutches of the devil.
The three of them sat under the grape trellis, eating watermelon and chatting.
Suddenly, Pengpeng placed its front paws on Liu Wangxue's knees and barked twice.
Liu Wangxue handed the watermelon in his hand over, took a big bite, and lay back on the floor to start eating.
Tao Huayu swayed in the rocking chair, a breeze blew over, he squinted his eyes comfortably, and twitched the succulents on the flower stand next to him: "This small courtyard is really nice, I also want to have one at home."

It was a tactful refusal.
Tao Huayu didn't really want to do it, he just made a joke and let it go.
After Pengpeng finished eating the piece of watermelon, he didn’t ask for any more.
Tao Huayu was very surprised and asked Liu Wangxue: "Why is Pengpeng so obedient? No, can it understand you?"
"Wake up, this is not a fantasy world." Liu Wangxue found it funny. "Maybe it was full, it just happened. But I feel like it doesn't like to move. It was still playing happily in the hospital, but it just lay there after coming back."
Li Yu said: "It may be that it has just become familiar with the hospital environment, and then it is moved to an unfamiliar environment, so it will be in a low mood for a while. And it doesn't know what kind of temper you have as its owner, so it will behave very well. During this period, you should give it more care and attention to help it adapt as soon as possible."
Liu Wangxue originally thought that Li Yu would only talk about his major, but now she looked at him in surprise.
"Xiao Yu knows a lot." Tao Huayu was also surprised.
Li Yu lowered his eyes, his lonely gaze resting on Peng Peng: "I wanted to have a golden retriever when I was a child, but my mom is allergic to dog hair. Now... I don't have time. Sister Xuxu, can I come to see Peng Peng often?"
Before Liu Wangxue could say anything, Tao Huayu deliberately picked a quarrel: "Who just said that you are busy with graduation project?"
Li Yu's face turned red instantly.
"Of course you can." Liu Wangxue agreed readily. He also knew that Tao Huayu was just teasing him. Seeing that he was speechless, he gave him a way out. "But you should still concentrate on your studies first. Graduating successfully is the most important thing. I will take some short videos and post them in the group so that everyone can see them."
Li Yu glared at Tao Huayu, then smiled at Liu Wangxue with eyes curved: "Sister Xuxu, you are so nice."
The two of them sat until almost evening and then went back. Liu Nanshan wanted to keep him for dinner, but failed.
Before leaving, Li Yu said to Liu Wangxue, "It used to live around here, so it's quite familiar with it. You can take it out for a run in the mornings and evenings. But be careful not to let it eat anything it pleases."
Liu Wangxue nodded in agreement.
Peng Peng followed right beside her, sticking close to her calves, and watched the two cars drive away one after another.
Liu Wangxue bent down and touched the dog's head. "It seems that I can't be lazy anymore for your sake."
Then she went back to the house, got the leash, and took Pengpeng for a walk in the fields.
The rice in the fields has basically been harvested. Some fields have bare rice stubble, while some fields have already been plowed.
Only the lotus pond is green.
Pengpeng suddenly became happy, tentatively trotted forward a few steps, and looked back at Liu Wangxue. Liu Wangxue was still a little worried about untying the leash, so she pulled one end and said, "Let's go, let's run together."
The man and the dog ran slowly on the cement road in the field for a while until Gu Xuelan came out and called them for dinner, then they went home.

While watching TV at night, Pengpeng also wanted to get on the sofa. He scratched the sofa carpet with his paws, leaving a dirty mark. It seemed to realize that it had made a mistake, and the innocent dog looked at Liu Wangxue.
"Oh, it's dirty. Remember to wipe its feet every time you enter the door next time." said Gu Xuelan.

Pengpeng thought Liu Nanshan was going to hit him, so he was so scared that he shrank his head and sobbed and crawled under Liu Wangxue's calf.
"Look at you, you scared it." Gu Xuelan blamed.
Liu Nanshan looked even more innocent, and retreated to lie on the chaise longue: "Okay, I won't move."
Liu Wangxue rubbed Bump's head and said gently: "I don't want to hit you, but it's wrong to dirty the sofa."
She took the wet tissue that Gu Xuelan handed over, wiped all four of its paws clean, and then carried it up: "Wipe them clean before you come up next time, okay?"

Pengpeng sat quietly and watched the show very attentively.
Gu Xuelan cut the peeled apple into pieces and handed them to Liu Wangxue. Liu Wangxue took a piece and handed it to Liu Nanshan.
Passing in front of Pengpeng, he attracted its attention and followed: "Woof!"
Liu Nanshan fed it a piece of food.
After it finished eating, it called to Liu Wangxue again. Liu Wangxue remembered the doctor's instructions and didn't dare to feed it too much. She gave it the small piece in her hand and said, "The last piece."
As expected, Pengpeng stopped crying after eating and lay on Liu Wangxue's legs.
