Chapter 23 Script
In the evening, the sky suddenly cleared up. Pengpeng saw the light of the setting sun in the yard and immediately took the leash to go to the willows to see the snow.
"What is it going to do? Go out?" Wenxi asked.
"Ah, it hasn't been out for a run in the past two days of rain. I guess it's getting impatient." Liu Wangxue took the leash, buckled it onto the collar, and patted the dog's head. "Wait a minute, we'll be leaving soon."
Just sit there and wait obediently.
Liu Wangxue kicked Wenxi and said, "Let's go. I'd like you to go see the scenery you've never seen before."
Wenxi sat up from the chaise longue and stretched: "Go! I didn't bring any sneakers, let me wear yours."
The two changed their shoes, and Wenxi went to Liu Wangxue's bedroom to get a rubber band and tied her hair up casually. Pengpeng saw the two move, and immediately followed excitedly.
The rice fields were refilled with water, and a new round of rice transplanting had begun, with machines and people working at the same time. The setting sun spread over the water and the ridges, shining golden, as if foreshadowing the next good harvest.
"Wow, there are real people in the painting!" Wenxi recorded the video with his mobile phone.
Pengpeng had already started running. Liu Wangxue pulled the leash to signal him to slow down: "We are about to start running. Do you want to join us?"
"Here I come!" Wenxi put away his phone and followed.
In less than ten minutes, Wenxi gave up and panted while holding onto a tree by the roadside: "You guys run, I, I can't do it anymore, I really can't do it anymore."
She has entered the fashion circle. In order to maintain her figure, she has taken some yoga and Pilates classes and goes swimming from time to time, but for some reason she just can't run, and each time she can't run for more than ten minutes.
"Then you take a walk, I'll take it for a run and come back."
"Go, go." Wenxi waved his hand, his throat smoking.
Liu Wangxue didn't like sports before, but since she got Pengpeng, she actually discovered the fun of running. The sound of his breathing, heartbeat, wind passing by her ears, Pengpeng's increasingly strong body, his dancing hair, and the joy emanating from his body all made her love him from the bottom of her heart.
After the man and the dog ran back, Wenxi held two lotus leaves in his hand and handed them to Liu Wangxue: "Use them as props. I will take pictures for you."
Liu Wangxue inserted the petiole into Pengpeng's collar and used it as a hat. She sat on the ground, holding up another lotus leaf, and asked Wenxi to take a few photos. Then she stood up again and led Pengpeng to interact. Wenxi quickly caught the angle and used her mobile phone like a SLR.
This is the best time to take pictures of the sunset. The light is soft and the background is open. The rice fields and lotus ponds are poetic in themselves. The dogs are lively and the beauties are charming. It is easy to take pictures.
Liu Wangxue leaned over to look at the photo, touched and pulled at her pants: "Woof woof!"
"Okay, I'll show you." Liu Wangxue and Wen Xi squatted down together.
"Your skills are amazing now! The photos are so beautiful!" Liu Wangxue liked every photo.
"Who made my model so good? So beautiful and so camera-savvy." Wen Xi gently bumped Liu Wangxue with his shoulder.
Liu Wangxue felt itchy: "Come over, I'll take a picture for you too."
Wenxi looked at the sky and said, "The light isn't just right now. Let's do it another day. I'm going to stay at your place for a while anyway."
"OK!"
The two of them took a walk and went back with Pengpeng.
When I arrived at the gate of the courtyard, I just saw Xu Qingsong coming out.
Liu Wangxue greeted: "Want to go out?"
"A new barbecue restaurant opened in the town. Tao Huayu and his friends booked a private room. They asked you in the group, but you didn't reply." Xu Qingsong said.
"I went for a run and forgot to bring my phone." Liu Wangxue introduced him, "This is my good friend, Wenxi. He just came here today."
"Hello, Xu Qingsong."
Wenxi stretched out her hand and said with a smile, "I know you."
Xu Qingsong squeezed it lightly and then let it go, deliberately showing a surprised expression: "Ah? When did I become famous?"
"It's too contrived." Liu Wangxue commented.
“Hahahaha,” Wenxi started to urge after she finished laughing, “Didn’t we just say we were going to have barbecue? Come on, come on, I’m hungry.”
Xu Qingsong looked at Liu Wangxue: "Then drive my car?"
Liu Wangxue was worried about Pengpeng: "Can you take it with you? I'm worried about it being alone at home."
"Tao Huayu has said hello," Xu Qingsong nodded, "The boss said that as long as you stay in the private room, don't run around."
"Okay, then I'll go get its dog food."
When the three arrived, Tao Huayu, Yue Cheng and Lan Xiaoxi were already there. Li Yu went to practice and learn with Old Li, so he did not come.
Tao Huayu and the other two were too enthusiastic about it right from the start, and they rubbed it so hard that it went under the table and couldn't come out.
After a lot of fuss, Liu Wangxue introduced Wenxi to them. Inevitably, they talked about occupations. When they learned that Wenxi was a designer and specialized in making Hanfu, they were all confused.
Tao Huayu looked at Xu Qingsong, obviously wanting to stir up trouble: "Didn't you make an ancient style game, the "Twenty-one Cases of Da Zhao"?" Then he looked at Wenxi: "I don't know if you have heard of it. It is said that the costumes and scenery in it are very well researched. Is it true?"
Wenxi put down the water cup and looked at Xu Qingsong with surprise and excitement: "You did it! Oh my God, I didn't expect that the big boss would be by my side!"
Xu Qingsong smiled modestly.
Liu Wangxue concealed her surprise by eating, because she was the one who wrote the script for this game.
In her previous life, when she first joined Shenghai Entertainment as a screenwriter, it coincided with the company's new talent support program. She stayed up countless late nights, checked countless materials, did rigorous research, and spent more than a year to write a first draft of more than 300,000 words.
She excitedly showed it to her senior who was in charge of her at the time, who was also one of the persons in charge of the new talent support program at the time. He only took a glance at the book and cursed it as worthless.
Liu Wangxue himself knew that this script still had many immature parts and needed to be carefully polished, so he went back and stayed up late to continue revising it, constantly enriching the details, improving the character portrayal, and making the logic of the case more rigorous.
After revising it three times, the senior was still not satisfied, so he suggested to Liu Wangxue that he give the book to him and let him complete it.
But this was his own hard work after all, and Liu Wangxue was reluctant to give it up. He wanted to try again, so he politely declined the kindness of his senior and directly sent the outline to the general manager's email address, but the email fell into the sea.
Later, Liu Wangxue registered an account on a drama platform and serialized the script of "The Twenty-one Cases of Dazhao" on it.
After she changed her career to become a broadcaster, a person in charge of a game studio contacted her and wanted to buy the copyright of "The 21st Case of Dazhao". At that time, she was disillusioned with the screenwriting industry and did not care about the follow-up after taking the money.
After suppressing the surging emotions in her heart, Liu Wangxue asked Xu Qingsong: "When will the game be launched?"
