Chapter 19:
"People of the same age!" Liu Wangxue took the meatballs out of the microwave and exclaimed, "That person is indeed a genius."
Xu Qingsong put his phone in his pocket, carried the fruit and walked with her to the sun room, saying, "Yes, a genius beyond the reach of others."
"Then how did you get there?" Liu Wangxue was curious, "What does it feel like to be friends with a genius? You're not ordinary, are you?"
"I'm so ashamed," Xu Qingsong said with a smile, "I'm just an ordinary person. I studied games. When I was in college, I developed a small game and wanted to find a few people to help with the internal testing. Then I met a friend of a friend of a friend, and that's how we got to know each other."
The first thing Xu Qingsong saw when he entered the sun room was that Pengpeng had changed a lot. "How did you feed him? It's only been a few days and his ugly appearance has completely disappeared!"
Peng Peng called out to him twice.
Xu Qingsong put the fruit on the tea table and went over to rub the dog's head: "Why, you're not convinced that I said you're ugly?"
Pengpeng pushed his hand with his front paw, and he rubbed it twice before letting go.
Liu Wangxue poured Xu Qingsong a cup of tea, handed it to him, and said, "I've been running with it every day these days, and my laziness has suddenly been cured."
"Really?" Xu Qingsong felt that he also needed to exercise. "What time? I'll go for a run too. This job has disrupted my daily routine recently. I feel exhausted. The abdominal muscles I worked so hard to train are about to become one piece."
"Okay," Liu Wangxue smiled, "About seven o'clock, it's early but not late. I have a healthy schedule now."
"Okay, I have to adjust myself." Xu Qingsong took a sip of tea, it was peach oolong again. He asked, "Do you like peach oolong very much?"
"Well, I guess so," Liu Wangxue said, "I like Xiaoqinggan Pu'er, Fenghuang Dancong, Dianhong, and some flower and fruit teas."
This was not the first time Xu Qingsong had come in to sit after the sunroom was built, but it was the first time he had come in to drink tea. The sunroom had changed a lot compared to the previous period, with more succulent flower stands, scattered books, dog toys, and a circle of warm yellow night lights hanging on the ceiling, but the most obvious thing was the various types of tea on the antique shelf.
Liu Wangxue only had time to take out the tea in the last few days. She would brew a pot of tea at noon or in the afternoon, and drink it slowly while watching the drama with Pengpeng. Sometimes Liu Nanshan and Gu Xuelan would also join them.
Xu Qingsong ate the meatballs, glanced at them, and asked, "Are there any Tibetan teas?"
The phone called twice, and Liu Wangxue looked down and saw that an episode had finished. She clicked on the next episode and said, "I went to the west to play before, passed by a tea-horse post, listened to a small lecture on Tibetan tea, and tasted it. I thought it was quite delicious, so I bought some."
She suddenly became interested, stood up, took down the gift box, and took out a brick of tea. With an expression of strong recommendation on her face, she asked Xu Qingsong: "Would you like to try it? This boiled milk tea is delicious."
Since she had already taken it down, Xu Qingsong naturally wouldn't spoil the fun. He usually didn't drink tea or milk tea much, so this was a good opportunity for him to try it.
Liu Wangxue asked: "Do you like sweet or salty?"
Xu Qingsong thought of peach oolong and chose the sweet one.
Liu Wangxue bought a health teapot specifically for making milk tea. She took out a tea needle, pried off a piece and threw it into the filter, then took out some red dates from the cabinet under the tea table, put some in the teapot, and added water to boil.
Take out another pack of milk powder, add water to a slightly larger cup and mix well, take out the filter from the pot, pour the milk powder in, and stir constantly with a spoon. Put the filter in and cook until the foam disappears, and finally add sugar, and it's done.
"This is Tibetan sweet tea, a non-professional version." Liu Wangxue joked to himself and handed the cup to Xu Qingsong. "I drank it almost every day when I was playing there. You can try it. How about it?"
When it was brewing, Xu Qingsong smelled a natural sweetness. He blew on the cup, took a sip, and commented: "It tastes better than the ones in the milk tea shop."
"Of course," Liu Wangxue also took a sip from the cup and said with a smile, "These are all real ingredients."
After eating the meatballs and drinking sweet tea, dinner was settled.
Pengpeng also ate the dog food, and after eating, he continued to lie on the solid wood sofa chair and watch the show.
Liu Wangxue and Xu Qingsong were eating fruit and chatting. Xu Qingsong handed a peeled apple to Liu Wangxue. Pengpeng saw it and barked twice.
Xu Qingsong asked: "What's wrong with it? Does it want to eat too?"
"Well, it has its share of fruit after dinner." Liu Wangxue said, and cut a piece to feed Pengpeng.
Pengpeng lay down, holding the apple with his two front paws, and biting it with his head tilted, while his eyes were fixed on the tablet.
Liu Wangxue turns on the camera on her phone and takes a photo every day.
Xu Qingsong thought it was funny: "What do dogs usually watch when they watch TV shows? Can they understand it?" As he said this, he wanted to test it out. He stretched out his hand and waved it in front of the screen, and then suddenly pressed a button, and the tablet screen immediately turned off.
The dog stopped eating the apple and instantly jumped up as if in a stress reaction, staring at Xu Qingsong with obvious anger on his face: "Woof! Woof woof!"
"Oh, open it quickly, be careful or it will pounce on you!" Liu Wangxue reminded. Liu Nanshan had also teased it like this before. Fortunately, they were sitting on the sofa at that time and nothing unexpected happened.
Xu Qingsong was a bit unlucky. Before Liu Wangxue could finish her words, Peng Peng rushed towards him. The incident happened suddenly, and he lost his balance, and fell backwards with the dog and the chair in his arms. Fortunately, he tilted to the side when he landed, and did not hit his head.
Liu Wangxue was startled and immediately went over to help him: "How is it? Did you bump into anything?"
"It's okay, it's okay." Xu Qingsong picked up the chair as he stood up.
Pengpeng seemed to know that he had done something wrong, so he lay on the ground with his head buried in his front paws.
Liu Wangxue didn't want to spoil it, so she took its claws off and educated it like a child. Pengpeng whimpered a few times, rubbed Xu Qingsong's legs, and ran to the sofa again, looking at Liu Wangxue with hesitant eyes. Liu Wangxue went over and opened the tablet for it, and it lay down to eat an apple and watch a TV show again.
This was the first time Xu Qingsong had seen such a dog in real life. He was surprised and said, "Is the dog a spirit?"
Liu Wangxue didn't know whether to laugh or cry: "My mom said the same thing. But sometimes I really doubt whether it can understand me."
Xu Qingsong was amazed.
Xu Qingsong pulled his chair closer to Liu Wangxue and found a few videos of "cats and dogs becoming spirits" to show her. Liu Wangxue laughed so hard that she had an idea: why not create a self-media account for Pengpeng and post some daily life on it.
Xu Qingsong said: "Of course, it's also a way to record life."
Seeing that it was getting late, Xu Qingsong went back. Before leaving, he said to Liu Wangxue, "I have already greeted that friend. He is on duty today. When you arrive, just go to his office and find him."
"Okay," Liu Wangxue said, "Wait until my parents come back and let them thank you properly."
“Hahahaha, OK!” Xu Qingsong didn’t hesitate to order directly, “I just want a grilled fish.”
"no problem!"
Calculating the time for the plane to land, Liu Wangxue called his father and told him about Xu Qingsong's help. The two of them immediately felt relieved. Liu Nanshan called Xu Qingsong again to thank him, and after leaving the airport, he took a taxi directly to the hospital to find someone.
