Chapter 241: The Sick Fairy

Chapter 241: Sickly Fairy

Xu Qingsong came back from getting food, and as soon as he opened the door he saw the three of them squatting at the bathroom door. He smiled and led the three of them inside: "Are you so clingy that you can't leave me for even a moment?"

The three of them followed him inside obediently, then jumped back onto the bed and lay down at the foot of it.

Xu Qingsong tidied up the small table by the balcony, put the packing bag on it, and took out the thermal box inside.

There was a sound of water in the bathroom, and then the door opened with a click, and Liu Wangxue walked out holding the wall.

She felt a little exhausted by the pain just now, so she leaned against the door to relax.

Xu Qingsong saw that something was wrong with her, so he hurried over and asked nervously, "What's wrong? Is it serious?"

Liu Wangxue shook her head and said, "It's okay." Then she was about to walk back to the bed, holding on to the wall.

Xu Qingsong listened to her weak tone and saw that she was having difficulty walking. After hesitating for a moment, he picked her up and carried her sideways.

He took a few steps to the bed, put Liu Wangxue on it, put the hot water bottle on her stomach, and then covered her with the quilt.

The three of them immediately surrounded him.

When Liu Wangxue was picked up by him, all she could think about was, Oh, that's great, I can move over now and don't have to walk anymore.

She leaned against the head of the bed, stretched out her arm and gave Xu Qingsong a thumbs up: "You are really my savior!"

"Then I'm deeply honored." Xu Qingsong said with a smile. He pulled the small round table over and opened the thermal box. "Eat something. I think it's almost time. After eating, take the medicine again and then have a good sleep."

Liu Wangxue didn't have much appetite at first, but when she saw the name of the restaurant on the thermos box, she instantly felt hungry.

To be precise, I was greedy.

"You booked this one," she said.

The first time they went there, Du Yunkai treated them, and the second time, Du Yunkai treated them as well. Liu Wangxue liked the food in this restaurant very much, and wanted to go there again, but she never had the time.

The more you can’t eat it, the more you want it, and the more you think about it, the more greedy you become.

The lotus root and pork ribs soup was served in a thermos pot, and the lid could be used as a bowl. Xu Qingsong took out a bowl with a spoon and handed it to her, saying, "The food is light, so just make do with it. The snacks are all your favorites, but don't eat too much, just try them, or you won't be able to sleep well."

Liu Wangxue asked him: "Have you had dinner?"

Xu Qingsong nodded, and seeing her holding the soup motionlessly, he joked with her: "Why, you feel embarrassed to eat alone, and you want me to accompany you?"

"What else?" Liu Wangxue said, "Then you just watch?"

"Okay." Xu Qingsong said as he pulled the chair over, sat in it, crossed his legs, leaned back in the chair, put his elbows on the armrests, clasped his hands in front of his abdomen, and looked at her with a smile.

"That's enough." Liu Wangxue was suddenly struck by how handsome he looked. Her hands shook when she smiled, and some of the soup in the bowl spilled out.

Xu Qingsong was startled, and was really afraid that she would knock the whole bowl over onto the quilt, so he quickly stood up and went over to steady it, then took the bowl and sat on the edge of the bed: "Beautiful and sickly fairy, you can't even hold the bowl steadily, sit down, I'll feed you."

"That's great." Liu Wangxue leaned back contentedly as Xu Qingsong fed her a spoonful of water.

Then he pointed to the table and said, "I want to eat shrimp."

Xu Qingsong put down his spoon and picked up his chopsticks, picked up a shrimp and fed it to her, his eyes full of tenderness: "I only said to feed her soup, not vegetables, are you pushing it too far?"

Liu Wangxue chewed the shrimp in two or three bites and swallowed it. She raised her eyebrows slightly, looked into his eyes, and said with a smile: "Mr. Xu - you scared me just now, and I haven't settled the score with you yet, and now you are accusing me of pushing my luck -"

Xu Qingsong picked up another broccoli for her and immediately admitted his mistake: "I was wrong, I was wrong, I said something I didn't think should be said. Eat it quickly, it's getting cold."

After Liu Wangxue finished eating the broccoli, she said with a hint of arrogance: "No, we still have to settle the account. It's no use just admitting your mistakes verbally."

Xu Qingsong fed her another mouthful of rice: "Okay, whatever the fairy says is fine. You decide how to settle it. Any compensation is fine."

"Anything is fine?" Liu Wangxue confirmed with him.

Xu Qingsong nodded: "As long as I can do it, anything is fine."

Liu Wangxue picked up Xiaoci and hugged her: "Then I have to think about it carefully."

Xu Qingsong fed her a piece of pork ribs: "Okay, tell me when you have made up your mind."

Liu Wangxue was lacking in energy and felt sleepy after eating for a while.

Xu Qingsong moved the table away and poured her another cup of warm water. She took the medicine and lay down again.

Xu Qingsong washed his hands, boiled a pot of water and refilled her hot water bottle. Then he called the guest room and asked them to send over a few bottles of purified water and a thick blanket.

He took out the thermometer that Gu Xuelan had prepared, looked at the position of the mercury, swung it down a few times, looked at it again, and then handed it to Liu Wangxue: "Here, test it, this is more accurate."

Liu Wangxue took it and put it under his armpit, and Xu Qingsong took out his mobile phone to check the time.

He reached out and touched the fever-reducing patch on Liu Wangxue's forehead and asked her, "How do you feel? Do you want to change it?"

Liu Wangxue nodded.

Xu Qingsong tucked the quilt for her and pulled the blanket up a little. He then took off the fever-reducing patch and threw it into the trash can, then tore off a new one and put it on her.

Liu Wangxue closed her eyes, smiled and sighed softly: "Ah, comfortable."

After a while, the time was up, and she took out the thermometer. Xu Qingsong took it and turned the angle to take a look: "37.9 degrees, not bad, it has dropped by 0.1."

After saying that, he shook it twice, put it on the bedside table, and tucked the corner of the quilt for her: "Go to sleep."

Liu Wangxue closed his eyes and tilted his head.

Xu Qingsong stretched out a finger, gently poked her straight, and said with a smile: "You still have the energy to act? Have a good sleep."

Liu Wangxue also smiled, slid into the quilt, and fell into a good sleep.

He closed his eyes for a while, heard a slight sound, and suddenly opened his eyes again. He saw Xu Qingsong cleaning the table, covering the thermal boxes one by one and putting them into the bag.

She said, "It's getting late. Why don't you go to the front desk and get a room to rest. Bring the three of them with you. I'll be fine after a good night's sleep."

Xu Qingsong couldn't stand the mess on the table, so he tried to hold it in, but couldn't help it and started to clean up. Hearing that, he quickly cleaned up the mess and turned to ask her, "Did I disturb you?"

Liu Wangxue shook her head gently: "Just out of concern."

Xu Qingsong sat on the small sofa: "It's okay, you go to sleep first, I'll be there soon."

He was worried and wanted to wait for Liu Wangxue to sleep for a while before taking her temperature. If she was sweating a lot, he would have to ask her to get up and drink some water.

Not long after, Liu Wangxue fell asleep.

Xu Qingsong would use a thermometer to measure her body temperature every hour. If he felt the antipyretic patch became hot, he would replace it with a new one.

During this time, Liu Wangxue sweated a lot, her forehead and temples were wet, and Xu Qingsong woke her up and asked her to drink some warm water.

I stayed with her until midnight, and her fever finally subsided completely.
