Chapter 55: Weeping Pond

Chapter 55: Weeping Pond

The two old people in the Lian family looked at He Xi, as if asking if it was she who said that.

He Xi shook his head gently: "I never said anything."

Master Lian looked at Jiang Suisui and said, "Young Master, I'm afraid you've heard about it from the servants at home!"

He still didn't believe that Jiang Sui, so young, could see these things.

Jiang Suisui: "You are not the only son of the Lian family. You had an older brother before you, but he died at the age of one. Children who are not yet adults are not recorded in the Lian family genealogy."

Master Lian was shocked. He only found out about this matter when he overheard his parents talking. Even his wife didn't know about it.

Old Madam Lian smiled and said, "Young Master, you are wrong. Everyone knows that my husband is the only son in three generations and has no brothers or sisters."

Jiang Suisui didn't say anything, but just looked at Mr. Lian with a smile. He should know whether it was true or not.

Master Lian pulled his wife's hand and said, "Madam, this young master is right. I did have an older brother, but he died of illness at the age of one and is not recorded in the Lian family genealogy."

Even the old lady looked at Jiang Susui in disbelief. If Jiang Susui hadn't told her about this today, she might not know it until her death.

Master Lian was no longer being respectful to Jiang Suisui out of consideration for the Empress's sake, but was being respectful from the bottom of his heart: "Little Master, I just said that there is a problem with my house. I would like to ask for your advice."

Jiang Suisui smiled and pointed to the pile of earth dug out in front of their main hall. "If there's a pile of earth in front of the door, anyone living in this house will suffer miscarriages, frequent eye diseases, and even disasters."

After she finished speaking, she looked at He Xi and said, "I think the madam had a miscarriage only ten days ago!"

The old lady was shocked: "Mother Yueyue, when did you become pregnant? How come we didn't know?"

He Xi told the two of them the situation with a worried look on his face.

The old lady of the Lian family felt dizzy when she heard this: "How, how could this happen? I was just waiting for the pomegranate tree to be delivered, how could it harm my daughter-in-law?"

Jiang Suisui looked at the two elderly people who were already grieving and said, "If they had just dug it up and planted something or filled it in, there wouldn't be so much trouble."

"Yet you dug it up and didn't do anything about it. Even though it hasn't rained in the past few days, some water has accumulated in the pit. And with the road running through the middle and to either side, it's become a weeping pond. I bet a lot of people in your family have been sick lately!"

When the old lady heard this, she had no idea what was going on. Many people in the family had been sick recently.

She thought it was transmitted from one person to another, but now she knows that this is the problem.

The old lady even beat her chest and stamped her feet: "It's all my fault. I've ruined you all."

Mr. Lian quickly grabbed Madam Lian and looked at Jiang Suisui: "Young Master, do you have any way to resolve this?"

Jiang Suisui looked at the two of them and said comfortingly, "Don't blame yourselves, both of you. I've seen Madam Lian's face and she has a fertile palace. She will definitely have one daughter and three sons. Having a daughter first and then a son is a perfect combination."

She paused and said, "As for this area, just fill it in. I've observed your house's feng shui, and I think you could plant some bamboo around it. A loving father and a filial son will produce a virtuous grandson."

When Master Lian and the others heard this, they were immediately overjoyed. As for the pomegranate tree, they had already forgotten about it. "Thank you, little master."

The old lady quickly had the dug-out soil and the pit filled up, and compacted it: "Young Master, is my daughter-in-law's child a boy?"

Jiang Suisui did not hide it: "Yeah."

The old lady felt even more upset. What sin had she committed? She wanted a grandson so much, but she lost him herself.

If it wasn't for the Queen Mother's recommendation, she would have regretted it so much.

He Xi didn't expect that all the problems were caused by digging two pits. Feng Shui really cannot be changed casually. If you are not careful, it will really bring disaster to your family.

Master Lian wanted to make friends with Jiang Suisui: "Little Master, I wonder if you can take a look at my little granddaughter."

Jiang Suisui didn't mind, as long as he had money, "Okay."

He Xi was also happy and hurried to carry his daughter out.
