Chapter 55: Weeping Pond
The two old people in the Lian family looked at He Xi, as if asking if it was she who said that.
He Xi shook his head gently: "I never said anything."
Master Lian looked at Jiang Suisui and said, "Young Master, I'm afraid you've heard about it from the servants at home!"
He still didn't believe that Jiang Sui, so young, could see these things.
Jiang Suisui: "You are not the only son of the Lian family. You had an older brother before you, but he died at the age of one. Children who are not yet adults are not recorded in the Lian family genealogy."

Master Lian pulled his wife's hand and said, "Madam, this young master is right. I did have an older brother, but he died of illness at the age of one and is not recorded in the Lian family genealogy."
Even the old lady looked at Jiang Susui in disbelief. If Jiang Susui hadn't told her about this today, she might not know it until her death.
Master Lian was no longer being respectful to Jiang Suisui out of consideration for the Empress's sake, but was being respectful from the bottom of his heart: "Little Master, I just said that there is a problem with my house. I would like to ask for your advice."
