Chapter 25 Distress
He Sang shook him off again, "That day will come eventually. You can't stay married forever."
"Looking for trouble, huh?" Liang Jishen has never had a good temper. He is willing to spoil an obedient woman, even if it's just a little quarrel. But if it's too much, he won't tolerate it.
He Sang avoided his gaze and said nothing.
Liang Jishen's shadow was getting closer and closer, and her back was getting stiffer and stiffer.
Suddenly, he grabbed her arm and asked, "Don't you regret it?"
She lowered her head and said, "No regrets."
He Sang didn't look at him, but she could feel that he was angry. His grip was so strong that it made her skin turn red.
"Do you really have to fight her to win?"
She exhaled deeply, feeling a deep sense of powerlessness. "I don't care about winning or losing. It's that we shouldn't have wars. Love is exclusive and one-on-one."
Liang Jishen stared at her.
"If you like her, choose her. If you like me, choose me. Love cannot coexist. One will die and the other will perish."
When the man heard this, he completely let go.
At this moment, thousands of thorns grew out of He Sang's heart, piercing his flesh and blood.
Liang Jishen finally chose his old love.
She turned around.
Cheng Xun witnessed the entire process and honked his horn tentatively, "Mr. Liang, are you chasing?"
The man was silent for a moment, then put on his coat, buttoned it with one hand and put the other hand in his pocket, "Why are you chasing her?"
"It's so cold..."
Liang Jishen's expression was dark, even darker than the night. "You deserve it."
He opened the door, sat down, locked it, and said in one breath, "Go back."
The car stopped at the intersection, and under the traffic light, He Sang was hailing a taxi. Occasionally, a taxi with passengers passed by. She withdrew her hand and blew air on her lips to warm them.
Under the red light, her pupils were like autumn water, full and moist, with a non-aggressive brightness. When the green light came on, she became particularly cold and aloof.
A woman of countless faces and countless colors.
A soft knife is infuriating.
The man was playing with his cell phone, his eyes showing an unclear expression, as he moved towards the lighthouse.
Cheng Xun deliberately slowed down nearby, circling back and forth, but he didn't wait for him to stop. Instead, he discovered the secret, "Is there enough gas?"
Cheng Xun immediately turned around and drove away.
In fact, He Sang also saw his car passing by, the flamboyant Hongqi L5. Even with all the cars on the street, there were no more than five of them.
But even though she saw it, the car didn't belong to her, and the person didn't belong to her either.
She remembered that once, she accompanied Liang Jishen on a business trip to Binhai. They were in a high-end business club with a private client system. They needed to be introduced by old customers and register, otherwise they would not be able to enter the first door.
When Liang Jishen went in, he happened to meet an acquaintance and forgot her at the door. The security guard tried to stop her, not believing that she was a VIP. It was pouring rain outside and there was a lot of extravagance inside. He was so close, yet it seemed as if there was an unreachable chasm between them.
That feeling was like a blow to her head.
Two worlds, two futures.
Liang Jishen's life is something that He Sang can never have equally.
This really hurt her heart.

Liang Jishen made a surprise visit to the old house without any prior notice.
Catching up with Ji Xilan alone in the restaurant, he took off his coat and handed it to the nanny, "You seem quite relaxed."
"I'm worried, but what's the use? Are you up to the task?" Ji Xilan was disappointed. "Liang Chihui is always courting your father, and your father says he's a filial son. For his sake, who knows, one day Yao Wenji will ascend to the throne again, and I'll be disgraced. It's my fault for not giving birth to a good son."
"Why should you worry about Yao Wenji?" The man sat down opposite her and looked at her. "Your virtue is unmatched by any other woman."
"A woman's virtuousness is an act for men." Ji Xilan stirred the porridge in her bowl. "Of course Yao Wenji is not as good as me in terms of tactics. I acted convincingly."
"Can I act like this forever?"
Ji Xilan scoffed disdainfully, "I've endured most of my life, am I exposed?"
"You act, I won't interfere." Liang Jishen's anger was obvious. "Don't challenge my bottom line."
"Your bottom line is the Liang family's wealth!" Ji Xilan was even more furious than him, "The rest is dispensable."
"Father is obsessed with women like Weng Qiong, so you helped him find one. Who did you choose? Did you ask for my opinion? You're the wife of the Liang family. If this gets out, do you have any shame?"
"How dare you!" Ji Xilan smashed the ceramic bowl hard, and one of the broken pieces hit the corner of the table and splashed onto Liang Jishen's chin, leaving a trace of blood in an instant.
She hadn't expected this, and was stunned for a second before continuing to question loudly, "Are you here to accuse me?"
"Let me remind you." He stood up and stood there. "I really don't like people violating my boundaries. This is the last time."
Ji Xilan stared at him, "You are threatening me now."
"It makes no difference to me whether it's her or even Cheng Xun. I just hate that you're plotting against me. You don't care about face, but I do."
He said this and walked away.
After parting ways with Liang Jishen on bad terms, Ji Xilan suppressed her anger and took a glass of milk to the study.
There was calming incense burning in the room. Liang Yanzhang leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes to rest, but his brows were tightly furrowed. It was obvious that he was troubled.
"Yan Zhang." Ji Xilan put down the milk. "Ji Shen just left."
He moved a little, "Didn't you have breakfast?"
Ji Xilan spoke the truth, "I beat Ji Shen, but he was in a bad mood and didn't eat."
Liang Yanzhang glanced at her immediately and asked, "Did you and your son have a fight?"
"He's ignorant, so I naturally have to teach him a lesson. He's the youngest son, and you usually love him much more than Chi Hui. Sister Wen Ji has never complained. If I continue to spoil my son, I'll be ashamed of Sister Wen Ji as a mother."
Ji Xilan's sympathy and understanding made Liang Yanzhang sigh, "Is the Third Brother making a fuss because of He Sang?"
She said nothing.
Liang Yanzhang straightened his chair and sat up straight. "Is he not happy with me going to the theater?"
Perhaps it was difficult to bring himself to speak, he hesitated for a moment, then spoke in a cryptic voice, "I do miss Weng Qiong, and it just so happens that He Sang resembles her so much. I admire her, but at my age, Third Brother shouldn't misunderstand me. The relationship between you and your son is unbreakable."
Ji Xilan smiled and said, "I understand. Your feelings for Xiao He are the same as mine. The Liang family has no daughter, and I cherish her too."
"The third brother has always been very calm. If he makes such a fuss, then why not—" Liang Yanzhang began to think of giving up, "Let him be."
"That vixen Song He is now living in Nanhai Bay. Ji Shen is so attached to her that he even gave her mother the secondary card to support her and her daughter. I sent someone to monitor her for a week. During that week, Song He moved to Tan Mansion and lived with Ji Shen."
Liang Yanzhang disagreed with her approach. "He's so old, how can you monitor him?"
Ji Xilan walked around the desk and massaged Liang Yanzhang's shoulders and neck. "I gave birth to him and raised him. How dare he turn against me?"
"That's all."
The small wheel of the lighter made a clicking sound. Liang Yanzhang liked to use those plastic lighters, which were light and fluffy, totally unsuitable for his status. "It's not worth it for father and son to be at odds over a woman."
"What about Sister Wen Ji? Will she be picked up soon?"
