Chapter 44 My Woman

Chapter 44 My Woman

He Sang had her back to him, so her face couldn't be seen clearly, but Li He was grabbing her arm and rubbing it.

Seeing this, Cheng Xun took the initiative to report, "Mrs. Zeng brought Miss He here. Mrs. Hu knew that Hu Dafa was thinking about her, so she tried to match her up with her cousin. Li He has a very bad reputation. He has abused more than a dozen girlfriends, the most serious of whom was a broken bone."

"Mrs. Zeng." Liang Jishen searched the crowd. "Is she the woman who bullied Song He in the jewelry store?"

Cheng Xun glanced at him secretly. It seemed that no matter who he messed with, he should never mess with Miss Song.

"Yes, her name is Li Zhen."

"Her husband is Zeng Mingwei?"

"A tycoon in the building materials business, his assets are at the bottom of the first-class wealthy people in the city, and he is a second-rate boss."

Liang Jishen rubbed the diamond ring on his middle finger and said, "Teach Zeng Mingwei a lesson and keep his woman under control."

Cheng Xun wasn't sure whether he was taking revenge on Li Zhen for humiliating Song He, or on her for bringing He Sang here, where he was harassed by that playboy Li He.

"I see."

After Cheng Xun left, Liang Jishen took a glass of red wine and walked towards He Sang.

A strong smell of cigarette smoke and a crisp smell of laundry detergent.

He Sang froze, sweat breaking out on his back. He walked closer and closer, as if he paused, yet as if he didn't pause at all, his steps staggering as they passed each other steadily.

In such a grand occasion, he still did his own thing, without wearing perfume or tie, half serious and half casual.

If it were any other man, he would definitely dress up carefully. Who doesn’t want to be the focus of the opposite sex?

Liang Jishen was unwilling.

He doesn't need to spend any energy. Wherever he is, women can't help but pay attention to him.

"How long have you been here?"

His clear voice was only two or three inches from her ear, or even closer.

He Sang clenched his fists even tighter, "I..."

"Just arrived."

A middle-aged man came to meet Liang Jishen. "You are a noble man with a lot to do. You came earlier than me."

He had a faint smile on his face, "From the hospital."

"Hospital? Who's sick?"

Liang Jishen paused for a second, "My woman."

He Sang's heart trembled violently, and there was a moment of tinnitus in her ears. All sounds stopped, and all colors disappeared. A feeling of extreme compassion and pain slowly seeped into her internal organs.

It tore a bloody hole, leaving her feeling empty.

Li He was furious and grabbed her tightly. "You don't know how to appreciate my kindness? Believe it or not, I will make sure you can't perform in a play!"

Opposite him was Liang Jishen, and behind him was Li He who was cursing loudly. He Sang felt humiliated and ashamed, and his hands were shaking slightly.

Li He also noticed Liang Jishen not far away. He stepped forward and greeted him, "Deputy Secretary Liang."

The man glanced at He Sang, then turned to Li He, his expression as cold as ice. "Who are you?"

Li He was proud. "Hu Dafa is my cousin's husband! He's very famous in the city."

"I haven't heard of it." Liang Jishen showed no mercy. "Compared with the Liang family."

"Of course, the Liang family wouldn't have such a chaotic atmosphere." Li Hechu was bold and daring. "Your father's second wife and the old man of the Zhang family had an affair that shocked the whole city. Which family is as famous as the Liang family?"

The man smiled, but the smile didn't reach his eyes. "Is your father Li Guangquan?"

"It turns out that Deputy Secretary Liang has also heard of my father's name."

Liang Jishen took a sip of wine and tapped the bottom of the glass with his knuckles. The crisp sound made his scalp tingle. "Later, everyone present will get to see your father's elegance."

"Li He—I've been looking for you for ages!" Mrs. Hu arrived just in time and dragged him along, "Come with me!"

Li He was annoyed, "Why are you looking for me?"

Mrs. Hu glared at him fiercely, then smiled at He Sang, "Xiao He, am I disturbing you?"

He Sang couldn't laugh, and forced a smile on his lips, "Mr. Li and I have different personalities."

"I know!" She apologized. "Li He is a young man with a foolish mind. I was inconsiderate and rude to you."

"Did you take the wrong medicine?" Li He was annoyed. "If you hadn't introduced me..."

"Shut up!" Mrs. Hu yelled. She glanced at Liang Jishen and said nothing, but her eyes showed caution, and she was servile and humble.

Mrs. Hu cursed and sent Li He away. The banquet hall was too noisy to hear what she cursed.

Liang Jishen took one last look at He Sang, then turned and left.

She calmed down for a while and then returned to the lounge.

Li Zhen hit the king bomb repeatedly and won a lot of money, which he piled up casually under the table.

"Where's Mrs. Hu?"

"Mrs. Hu and her cousin left first, scolding him for being too impatient and blind." Li Zhen threw the ace of hearts. "Who is he dating now? Mrs. Hu is really scared. She even confiscated the money. Is he married?"

He Sang didn't say anything. She tried to sit down, but her skirt was so tight that she couldn't breathe. "Come with me to the dressing room."

"Smaller?"

"One size too small."

This long skirt is size S, which is He Sang's daily size, but the dress version requires a size larger. She has a plump butt, so she can only wear size M, otherwise it would be difficult for her to bend over.

Li Zhen threw the playing cards in his hand and said, "You guys play first."

As soon as she stood up, the lady at the same table kept pestering her, "Oh my god, where have you been? I was about to win, and you ruined my luck?"

He Sang knew that these ladies were so angry about losing that they were unwilling to let Li Zhen go. He didn't feel comfortable urging her anymore and went to the next door alone.

After closing the door and checking the camera to make sure it was safe, He Sang held her breath and tightened her abdomen. She put her hands behind her waist and hooked the zipper with her fingertips. She repeated the process several times with difficulty. When she touched the zipper, she also touched a square metal watch. She was startled and turned around.

Liang Jishen hadn't known when he entered the room. He loosened his shirt collar and stared at He Sang's stunned expression. "What the hell?"

"Why is it you?"

He had most of his shirt unbuttoned, and looked a bit drunk. "Who else could it be, Li He?"

He Sang sighed and walked out the door. Liang Jishen, clutching his cigarette case, leaned against the sofa in the corner. "Stop."

She ignored it.

"One." He took out a cigarette and struck a thin match, which exploded in the silence. "Two."

He Sang slowed down his pace.

A cluster of flames rose and died, Liang Jishen leaned back, sinking into the sofa, "Three."
