"Zhao Peng?"
Gong Shien called out tentatively, but his legs felt like they were filled with lead and he couldn't lift them up.
“Uh uh uh…”
Zhao Peng wailed and stared at Gong Shien in horror, pointing his finger laboriously at the window behind Gong Shien, as if he had seen a ghost.
Gong Shien immediately felt a chill on his back, and beads of cold sweat began to break out.
She stiffened her neck and turned her head mechanically.
The curtains were not drawn, and the night was pitch black, so dark that I couldn't see a thing.
"Ah! Dead? Someone's dead?"
Before Gong Shien could even breathe a sigh of relief, the Taoist priest suddenly shouted in fear.
Gong Shien was so frightened that his scalp went numb. Without even checking, he immediately pounced on the Taoist priest and covered his mouth.
"Hyaku~keep your voice down."
The Taoist priest shut up obediently, pulled Gong Shien's hand away, and guessed in panic: "It's that female ghost. It must be that female ghost who came here to seek revenge."
Gong Shien turned her head to look at Zhao Peng, who was lying motionless on the ground. The unprecedented fear made her feel cold all over.
Suddenly, the Taoist priest pushed Gong Shien away with force, and ran quickly to the door as if he had sensed something.
He will be the next to die!
"oops!"
Gong Shien was pushed to the ground, and her palm happened to press on the glass shards, leaving several bloody cuts. The pain made her cry.
"Thump thump thump..." The footsteps stopped abruptly.
Gong Shien looked up in confusion, her tears blurring her vision. She only saw that the Taoist priest who was running towards the door suddenly stopped and froze in place.
Blinking away the tears, his vision became clear.
“Ding ding…”
A strange ticking sound was heard in the dead silent house.
Gong Shien looked in the direction of the voice.
One drop, two drops, three drops... one after another drops of blood fell at the Taoist's feet, and soon gathered into a pool of dark red plasma, emitting a fishy smell.
A creepy feeling crept into Gong Shien's heart, making her open her mouth in fear and want to scream, but no sound came out.
Even though the house was brightly lit, Gong Shien felt as if she was surrounded by layers of black fog, as if a pair of invisible hands were strangling her neck, making her unable to breathe in pain.
She looked around in horror, and finally couldn't suppress the fear in her heart anymore, and screamed hysterically: "Gong Yu, come out, come out..."
The most helpless fear is that you are clearly being persecuted but have no place to explain it.
At this time, Gong Shien had reached the brink of collapse. Just a little bit of stimulation would cause him to completely collapse and become a poor creature dominated by fear.
Suddenly, the stiff Taoist priest turned around with a confused look on his face.
His eyes widened in horror, his head tilted to one side as if unsupported, his hands hanging naturally and shaking with the rotation of his body, like a zombie being controlled by someone.
Gong Shien held his breath and looked at it, his pupils constricted.
An exquisite fruit knife was stuck in the center of the Taoist's chest, right at the heart.
That knife was Gong Shien’s favorite fruit knife, and it was always placed on the coffee table in the living room.
Gong Shien looked over suddenly and found that the fruit knife on the coffee table was indeed gone.
But why would a fruit knife pierce the Taoist's heart for no reason?
Could it be that the Taoist priest stabbed himself with the fruit knife?
If I tell it to others, who will believe it?
When Gong Shien was in a panic, the Taoist priest moved again.
He slowly walked towards Gong Shien, his spine stiff, his arms swaying, his legs hanging vertically in the air...
Hanging?
