The broth was indeed drunk. Although the beast meat tasted strange, the whole team enjoyed it very much. Jiang Fei only ate a few bites of the meat. She still couldn't get used to the strange texture and taste.

After coming out of the disinfection room, everyone changed into uniform white clothes. Nona patted her curly hair and complained: "The smell of disinfectant is really bad. I don't know if I should disinfect it tomorrow."

Her eyes swept over the guards guarding the three exits of the isolation area. Each of them was armed with a gun. Nona was so scared that she didn't say a word on the way back. Jiang Fei helped her get dinner. The dinner was a simple toast with a piece of artificial-looking meat and a drink that she couldn't name.
"Are you okay?" Jiang Fei put dinner on her bedside.
Nona was lying on the bed with her back to her. Her voice was muffled through the quilt, "Why do they treat us like this? It's as if... we are not even human beings in their eyes."
