The second brother still had that somewhat aloof face, but Wan Qiu showed no trepidation or fear towards him, calmly accepting Yang Ze's touch.

Chu Zhang thought of the hand Chu Jianshu had touched on Wan Qiu's head back then.

There was some silence.

"Big brother, I heard you had your brother dance for Dad?" Suddenly, Chu Yigui's voice came from behind Chu Zhang, who jumped up in surprise.

With a stiff expression, he turned to look at Chu Yigui: "Ah, yes, it was recorded. I'll send you a copy?"

"Okay." Chu Yigui smiled. "Isn't it interesting? Dad wasn't angry today, was he?"

Chu Zhang chuckled twice: "Yes, that's right."

"But is Dad in a good mood today?" Chu Yigui walked around the sofa a few steps, but did not approach Chu Zhang.

"Yes," Chu Zhang replied. In his eyes, Chu Yigui's smile always carried a hint of deliberate meaning.

"Long time no see, Brother Zhao," Chu Yigui greeted Zhao Xinghua.

"Yi Gui, don't you want to hang out with me today?" Zhao Xinghua asked as always, trying to win him over first.

However, Chu Yigui brushed it off, and Zhao Xinghua didn't hold out any hope.

Chu Zhang turned to look at Wan Qiu, whose gaze followed Chu Yigui, but Chu Yigui seemed to ignore Wan Qiu.

Wan Qiu lowered his head, but did not appear disappointed.

But after Wan Qiu lowered his head, Chu Zhang saw Chu Yigui looking at Wan Qiu.

It was as if he deliberately looked over when Wanqiu couldn't see him.

Looking at his seemingly empty house, Chu Zhang suddenly felt that something was different, a strange, shifting feeling was flowing within him.

It was as if Wan Qiu was skillfully piecing together shattered glass fragments that had fallen to the ground.
