He Chenghuan quickly caught someone back.

The Imperial Observatory was now tightly surrounded. He Chenghuan had to spend a lot of effort before he finally caught Ji Yuanhang in a house, who didn't know where to escape.

"Sir, please spare my life." Ji Yuanhang lay on the ground and trembled.

Ye Zhihui heard the noise in the yard and knew that He Chenghuan had returned, so he stood up.

The bright red wedding dress of the girl beside him shone brightly under the lights. When she looked up, there seemed to be doubt in her clear eyes. Ye Zhihui just looked at her, and his heart was filled with an indescribable sadness.

"I'll go out and take a look." He said softly, "I'll be back soon."

"Have you found the person?" Ye Zhihui asked.

He Chenghuan turned around and asked anxiously, "How is she?"

Ye Zhihui subconsciously concealed the details of what had just happened, and only shook his head and said, "Same as before." He pointed his chin at the man huddled on the ground, trembling, "Who is this?"

"I am Ji Yuanhang, an official of the Imperial Astronomical Observatory." Ji Yuanhang immediately confessed: "I don't know what the Imperial Master has done. Please spare my life."

"Imperial Observatory?" Ye Zhihui repeated. He moved to the side, revealing Su Fangli in the room behind him.

Ji Yuanhang stood up and saw Su Fangli sitting there blankly through the window. He murmured, "She...why is she here?"

"You recognize her." He Chenghuan said anxiously.

"I recognize... I recognize her." Ji Yuanhang explained truthfully: "She is the disciple brought back by the Imperial Master. How could I not recognize her?"

Su Fangli could vaguely hear the noises in the yard, but they were indistinct. She knew in her heart that these two people would not harm her, but she couldn't help but worry that she would not be able to recover.

If he could find the jade plate that he had previously stained with blood, he should be able to escape from this restricted situation.

But how should she tell this to the two of them?

The interrogation in the yard continued.

"Did the Imperial Master tell you anything before he escaped?"

"No, no. I'm just a small official, not appreciated by the Imperial Master. I just want to make a living."

Ye Zhihui tilted his head, "What's in your arms?"

Ji Yuanhang's trembling body paused, and then trembled even more violently.

Noticing He Chenghuan approaching, Ji Yuanhang no longer dared to hide it and quickly took out the things in his arms.

"Nothing. I was just worried that I would have no money after escaping, so I saved this as my own money, hehe." He laughed dryly.

It was a jade disc in a cloth bag.

He Chenghuan squatted down and picked up one of them to examine it carefully. It was indeed a good jade, but it had not been carved with any craftsmanship, and it did not look like a raw stone.

"What did you notice?" Ye Zhihui had spent a long time with He Chenghuan and immediately noticed his abnormality.

"This is..." He Chenghuan frowned, raised his hand to brush away the red color that had dried up and turned into fine flakes, and when he saw the lines on it clearly, his hand suddenly shook.

"The pattern on it is very similar to the one Ali drew before." He said, taking out a small bag from his arms, opened it carefully, and took out a piece of paper.

It was exactly the calculation handwriting left by Su Fangli when he helped He Chenghuan to divine and find someone.

Comparing the two, He Chenghuan looked at Ji Yuanhang and asked, "Whose stuff is this?"

"Mine." He had just finished speaking when he saw He Chenghuan's other hand touching the hilt of the sword at his waist, and immediately changed his words: "National Master, National Master's."

Ji Yuanhang didn't dare to hide anything and said honestly, "The Imperial Master uses the jade plate to predict good and bad luck and to tell people's fortunes."

"Fortune-telling? Was this the thing he used to change the fate of Prime Minister Fang's daughter?"

Ji Yuanhang was confused and said vaguely, "Maybe..."

"It doesn't look like something used for serious divination." Ye Zhihui also approached, looked at the dried blood stains on it, and said hesitantly: "Why not destroy it?"

He Chenghuan and Ye Zhihui exchanged a glance upon hearing this. He nodded, "We can give it a try."

He was worried and asked again, "What would happen if it broke?"

"No, nothing. Maybe it won't work." Ji Yuanhang answered hesitantly.

He Chenghuan nodded, raised his hand and smashed the bag of jade plates. The sound of the jade shattering made Ji Yuanhang's heart ache, and he showed a distressed expression.

"How about it?"

Several people immediately turned around and looked at Su Fangli through the window, but to their disappointment, the girl sat there motionless, without any reaction at all.

He Chenghuan chuckled and lowered his eyelashes: "It seems useless."

Ye Zhihui: "Did the Imperial Master really leave no trace at all?"

"He was well prepared and didn't leave any clues."

He Chenghuan stood up after speaking, dusting off the dust on his body. He raised his hand and beckoned his men over, instructing them, "Take this man and keep a close eye on him. Also, get a few maids over to help Miss Fang change her clothes and wash up."

"I thought you would..." Ye Zhihui started to speak, but immediately stopped.

He Chenghuan picked up what he hadn't finished saying: "Do you think I will take this opportunity to marry her?"

"Yes." Ye Zhihui nodded.

He Chenghuan glanced at him, not caring about the meaning behind his words. The moon was bright, revealing everyone's thoughts.

"Even if we want to get married, we have to wait until she recovers."

In the silence, He Chenghuan suddenly said, "The Imperial Master is usually very mysterious. The fortune-telling and divination are done by the Imperial Observatory. I'm afraid the situation with Miss Fang is not as mysterious as it appears."

Ye Zhihui: "You mean..."

He Chenghuan called over the man and said, "Go and get Miss Fang's wedding dress, the phoenix crown, and all the other things she wore. Have them examine them thoroughly."

He found a few doctors, who examined it for a long time and pointed to a jade token. "If I'm not mistaken, this jade token is made of a potion. However, the smell has almost dissipated, so it's not easy to tell what it is."

"Do you recognize this?" He Chenghuan held the jade token and showed it to Ji Yuanhang.

Ji Yuanhang nodded: "This is the brand that the Imperial Master prepared for Miss Fang."

"You have it too?"

Ji Yuanhang: "No, only Miss Fang has this thing."

He Chenghuan's face was tense. He handed the jade token to the doctor for inspection and ordered, "Take off everything Miss Fang is wearing. I'll go over and take her pulse later."

-

After an indeterminate amount of time, Su Fangli opened her eyes. Above her head was an unfamiliar bed curtain. She stood up, her memories returning.

"You're awake!" Ye Zhihui immediately noticed her and took a few steps forward.

"What happened?" Su Fangli asked.

Ye Zhihui: "You have been poisoned by the Imperial Master. You seem to be in a state of terror."

Su Fangli was startled, inexplicably thinking of the jade plate. Wasn't the Imperial Master's ability to change fate too extraordinary? Unexpectedly, Ye Zhihui continued, "The jade plate he gave you is infused with the medicinal juice of the Ji Ma vine. If you wear it for a long time, your five senses will be paralyzed, and you will be unable to move on your own."

Medicine juice? Su Fangli suddenly realized. She raised her hand to feel her lower limbs, which were still a little sore and weak. Su Fangli turned around and thanked Ye Zhihui. Then she asked, "Where's He Chenghuan?"

Ye Zhihui was startled, and then he lowered his eyelashes. Then he said calmly: "He went out to look for the trace of the Imperial Master."

Su Fangli nodded, then suddenly remembered something: "I'm outside the palace now." Seeing Ye Zhihui nod, she asked, "What's the situation in the palace now? Where is His Majesty?"

"Outside the palace. What? Are you still friends with His Majesty?" Ye Zhihui asked casually.

"I understand." Su Fangli patted his chest and breathed a sigh of relief, saying, "It's good that you're out."

She was anxious to go to the palace to find He Hongli, but she didn't show it on her face.

"By the way, the Imperial Preceptor is also in the palace?" Su Fangli asked, "Did Grand Tutor Shen send you any message before? Regarding the Imperial Preceptor."

Ye Zhihui nodded: "Don't worry, we have read your letter." His tone was normal, and then he said with concern:

"Would you like some water? There's some warm soup in the kitchen. I'll bring it to you."

After Su Fangli finished her meal, she chatted with Ye Zhihui for a while before saying she was tired and lying down to rest alone.

The Imperial Preceptor, having used her marriage to the Emperor to achieve some purpose, had actually escaped. The Imperial Preceptor had grudges against He Chenghuan and the other races, a situation she wouldn't interfere with. However, this would put He Hongli in an awkward position.

Su Fangli could see that He Hongli was just a puppet in the palace. Once the Imperial Master left, he would have to face the mess left behind by the Imperial Master.

Although He Hongli has no memory of the modern world, he saved her before she traveled through time. No matter what, she has to go and help him.

Su Fangli made up her mind and began to observe the time when Ye Zhihui came to see her, and found an opportunity to run away.

She carefully followed the wall and identified the direction.

Ye Zhihui would leave for a while every evening. There would be no one to watch over her here. As long as she left the house first...

Just as she walked out of the house, before Su Fangli could feel happy, she heard a voice behind her: "A Li."

Her body stiffened, and she recognized He Chenghuan's voice behind her, but for some reason, she didn't dare to look back.

The voice sounded a bit fierce, Su Fangli thought.

She didn't move, and He Chenghuan didn't move either. Seeing that she had returned to normal movements, the heavy stone that had been hanging in his heart finally fell.

The two of them were in a stalemate for a while. He Chenghuan sighed and walked over: "Where do you want to go?"

"Go to the palace." Su Fangli felt that there was nothing to hide, so she simply "confessed".

She turned around and saw He Chenghuan, dusty and tired, leading the horse. She asked in a low voice, "Can I enter the palace?"

"What are you doing in the palace?" He Chenghuan said calmly as he walked a little closer.

Su Fangli organized his words and said, "You have avenged yourself now, have you? Could you please not embarrass Your Majesty? He was merely controlled by the Imperial Master and didn't actually do anything bad."

"Oh?" He Chenghuan snorted coldly, then continued, "Now that Miss Fang has married His Majesty, has her heart turned to him?"

He threw down the reins in his hand and walked a few steps to Su Fangli.

The tall figure covered Fang Li's room, and she could clearly smell the scent of rust and cold wind on the man.

A teasing voice sounded above his head, and Su Fangli couldn't help but shudder.

"Miss Fang, do you want to be an empress?"

"Want money? Or power? After all, I was once the crown prince. I can give you what Miss Fang wants."
