Chapter 30 Qi Changzhou is my older brother

Shan Song has always been very perceptive, and Tong Zhao didn't intend to hide it from him: "I just ran into a few people who said some unpleasant things, and I retorted to them."

"You can even roast people?" I don't mean the kind of roasting he's doing, do you? Shan Song asked innocently, a hint of a smile in his eyes, his demeanor calm and relaxed. Qi Changzhou was also drawn to the topic and looked over curiously.

Tong Zhao relaxed at their attitudes and smiled, "Didn't you say you could use the Qin family's status to put pressure on them? It actually worked quite well."

"Okay, then don't be angry." Shan Song pulled the person into his arms and turned to look at Qi Changzhou, who was observing them with interest.

"Brother Qi? You've already taken advantage of this, aren't you going to lend a hand?"

Qi Changzhou simply stood up and waved his hand, "Wait, sister-in-law, I'll go avenge you right now."

“Hey—” Tong Zhao wanted to say that there was no need to make a big fuss about such a small matter, so as not to arouse suspicion, but Shan Song stopped him: “He knows what he’s doing.”

Tong Zhao felt relieved, then asked, "Won't Zhou Muyuan become suspicious if you meet him like this?"

Qi Changzhou had only taken two steps when he heard this and turned back: "That's exactly what I wanted, to make him suspicious. Your Shan Song is using me as a sitting duck."

Shan Song explained to him, "We need to keep Zhou Muyuan occupied so he won't keep bothering us."

"What about the Qin family?"

"It's good that they misunderstand, at least they'll be more cautious and won't try to test us again in the future."

Qi Changzhou regained some of his military officer's authority: "Relax, those little spies watching you won't escape my notice. I'll have Shan Song give you my contact information. If you can't handle something, come find me."

"Thanks……"

“Let’s just call him Big Brother.” Shan Song smiled. “He’s only three days younger than me, that’s because Aunt Qi’s due date was delayed.”

Tong Zhao's eyes widened slightly: "Thank you, Brother Qi!"

"You're welcome. I'll be leaving now. I can't stay in this kind of situation any longer, or I'll get scolded when I get back." Qi Changzhou waved his hand, and this time he really left.

After Qi Changzhou left, the bar gradually filled up, and those informants should have gone back to their posts by now. Shan Song gave Tong Zhao a few instructions: "I'm going to do some casual socializing. There's nothing important today. You can go back to your room early to rest. I've reserved the best spot with the best view, so no one will bother you. If you like the night view, go to the private deck. It's windy at night, so wear more layers."

"good."

Because there were many people, Shan Song didn't get too close to Tong Zhao. He just responded to him, gave him a look, and left.

According to their plan, Tong Zhao would only drug Shan Song on the evening of the third day, the last day of the wedding. So before that, Tong Zhao would have to deal with Qin Siyuan's urging.

Furthermore, he also needed to think about how to explain to Qin Siyuan the meeting between Qi Changzhou and Shan Song. Tong Zhao rubbed the spot on his ring finger, thought for a moment, and then typed a few lines in the chat box on his phone to proactively report the situation.

Shan Song met Qi Changzhou at the bar.

Qin Siyuan replied quickly.

What did you say?

[I don't know. Qi Changzhou left quickly, and Shan Song told me to go back to my room and wait for him.]

This time, after waiting for a while, Qin Siyuan replied.

[Hurry up.]

Tong Zhao put away his phone; it seemed he had managed to get away with it today.

Tomorrow's ceremony will be an outdoor one. Although we've tried to omit a series of wedding rituals, it'll probably still be a busy day from morning till night. There will also be an outdoor stage performance, fireworks, and drone show in the evening. We'll be in the public eye all day, so Qin Siyuan probably won't rush him. It seems the focus should be on the banquet the day after tomorrow.

As Tong Zhao walked, he was lost in thought. Before he knew it, he had reached a spot near the bow of the ship, where two people seemed to be arguing not far away.

"What do you mean?!" a male voice shouted.

The man deliberately dragged out his reply, sounding like a very unruly young man: "What could I possibly mean? My brother's friend is getting married, so I brought you along for some fun. What's the point of watching your experiments every day?"

The clear, crisp voice turned cold: "I told you my experiment is very important."

"You're important to everything, but I'm not important to you. We're just out relaxing, don't make a big deal out of it." The young man lowered his voice, his tone very impatient.

"Are you threatening me?" The other voice was even colder.

"Threatening? I wouldn't have threatened you, you would have run away long ago!" The young man's voice sounded very irritable, and he tried his best to suppress his anger: "You saw it yourself, I don't even have to beckon them, and they come running over to fawn over me. I don't understand, I feed you well every day, what is it that you're not happy about?"

“Young Master, I have hands and feet and can support myself. It’s your business if you’re willing to accept those who fawn over you, and it’s none of my business if you live in a world where everyone dotes on you. I just hope you won’t disturb my normal life. I’ve never fawned over you, never accepted anything from you, and I don’t need you. Everything you’re doing now is just your wishful thinking, understand?”

"Ha, wishful thinking!" The male voice chuckled mockingly. "Then why were you unhappy just now? Was it because I hugged that young boy? Are you jealous, Mr. Luan?"

A sharp, crisp slapping sound.

Tong Zhao felt it would be impolite to listen any longer, but he had to pass through here to get back to his room. He hesitated for a moment, thinking that he should go somewhere else for a while and go back later.

As soon as I turned around, I heard that same irritable male voice yell, "Who's there?"

"..." Tong Zhao closed his eyes, but he still walked right into the line of fire.

Tong Zhao took a deep breath, turned around and took a few steps forward: "Sorry, I was just passing by on my way back to my room, I didn't mean to eavesdrop."

After saying that, he wanted to raise his eyes and give a polite smile, but what he saw made him a little stunned. The tall young man in front of him had a head of black hair sticking up, a slightly red right cheek, and a gloomy face. He looked a bit like the person he had just met... Qi Changzhou?

"What are you looking at?" The man's eyes narrowed, clearly on the verge of exploding in rage.

The slightly frail-looking man on the other side frowned and tugged at him lightly, but it was clearly not the kind of tactic that could stop him.

Tong Zhao felt that if he didn't speak up, he might get beaten up, so he asked, "Are you Qi Changzhou's?"

Qi Yan raised an eyebrow and coldly retorted, "Who are you?"

Tong Zhao hesitated for half a second: "I am Shan Song's fiancé, and this is my room."

Qi Yan glanced at the presidential suite behind him, thought about Tong Zhao's initial explanation, and after a few seconds, his brows relaxed slightly: "Qi Yan, Qi Changzhou is my older brother, hello sister-in-law."

"Hello." Tong Zhao gave a slightly awkward smile and quickly ended the conversation: "Then I'll go in first."

Qi Yan nodded in agreement, his attitude much more polite than before.

Tong Zhao turned her head and nodded slightly to the other person as a greeting.

I hadn't noticed before, but the person next to me was tall and slender, with a scholarly air about him. He was gentle and refined, and his polite smile was perfectly curved, giving people a warm and welcoming feeling. Yet, he was able to argue with someone and even get into a fight.

It's a bit unbelievable that Qi Yan, who seemed so irritable, didn't even retaliate after being slapped.

It has to be said that the two brothers have quite different personalities. Tong Zhao didn't think about it in detail or linger. He hurriedly returned to his room, mentioning his encounter with Qi Yan to Shan Song, and then put it out of his mind.
