What is your relationship with your students?

What is your relationship with your students?

"Yangyang, come out and have some water. It's no use hiding in there and howling all the time. People from the neighboring dormitories have complained about us several times." Guo Zixiu patted the toilet door worriedly.

"What's wrong with him? He seems to be a little off lately."

Guo Zixiu mouthed, "Breakup."

The toilet door opened and Song Shuyang pulled Guo Zixiu in with his eyes swollen like peach pits.

He sat on a small stool, hugged Guo Zixiu's legs and cried bitterly, his words unclear, "How...how could I...say those words to him..."

"Okay, okay, you've almost vented your anger, calm down first."

Guo Zixiu stayed with him quietly, and after more than ten minutes, Song Shuyang finally stopped crying.

Guo Zixiu sighed, "He's sure you know you're being sarcastic. After more than ten years together, he knows better than anyone whether you're sincere to him or not."

Song Shuyang sobbed and said, "Why do you say so much like what Jin Zhou said?"

"Well, no, I think he should think so."

He picked up a tissue and wiped the remaining tears from his face. "Don't be sad, Yangyang. He knows you care about him too much, so he deliberately wants to cut off all ties once and for all. He won't blame you. He just hopes that you can be more honest with yourself in the future and not be so awkward."

Song Shuyang was so sad that he didn't realize there was something wrong with what he said.

He just wanted to shed all his tears at once and never shed them again.

Helios opened, and Song Shuyang only went to take a look from a distance. The store entrance was very busy, and he estimated that the attendance rate would not be low. Jiang Ying happened to come out and saw him, but she didn't say a word.

He must have hurt Jin Zhou deeply.

He didn't dare think about what happened that night anymore. He numbed himself by studying and playing games all day long. He became much quieter. His roommates all said that the dormitory was finally quiet recently.

About a week after the incident, Song Nian called him and said that Jin Zhou suddenly told her that he wanted to move out, and asked if they had quarreled again.

Song Shuyang didn't dare to tell the truth, so he said that Jin Zhou wanted to stay in Han City for a long time to develop.

Song Nian sighed, "Alas, I really can't bear to leave Xiao Zhou. Sometimes I think, it would be great if I were his biological mother."

Song Shuyang also felt that if Jin Zhou was his real brother, all this bloody love story wouldn't have happened between them.

But something even more ridiculous is coming.

The actor who was originally supposed to play Zhou Ping in the crew of "Thunderstorm" suddenly skipped rehearsals, saying that he was too busy with schoolwork and couldn't spare the time. Chen Xi recommended Song Shuyang to the president.

He just wanted to find something to fill his spare time so that he wouldn't have to play games all the time. He was almost reported by his teammates and had his account permanently banned.

Song Shuyang found a time to audition, and as soon as he put on the costume, the president exclaimed in satisfaction. He had a certain air of pride about him, and his face was handsome, which perfectly suited the character of a rich young man from the old society with a slightly scumbag temperament.

So he stepped into a new field and rehearsed with the crew several times. His acting skills were not that great, but at least he did not lag behind. However, he felt a little nervous every time he acted opposite Sifeng.

Because of the heavy workload, he has to run around for work almost every day. Now his life is no longer just fulfilling, he even has no time to eat.

He thought that in this fast-paced life, he had forgotten Jin Zhou.

In the entrepreneurship class that afternoon, the teacher selected several outstanding students from the last assignment and asked them to come to the stage to give presentations, including Song Shuyang.

He was the last one to speak, and after listening to the reports of the students before him, he felt a little nervous, fearing that he would not be able to speak as well.

Following a round of applause, he slowly walked down the stairs, took the remote control from the previous classmate, opened his PPT, and began to flip through the pages.

He saw the words left by Jin Zhou on it.

He suddenly felt dizzy, and the images of him and Jin Zhou snuggling under a blanket in the middle of the night, talking sweetly, flooded into his mind. He had been frozen in place for too long. The teacher called out to him, "Classmate? What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"

Song Shuyang shook his head, and then fell straight to the ground with a loud bang.

He woke up in a vast expanse of white, and heard someone talking in his ear. One was the counselor, and the other voice was unknown.

"The fever has reached 39 degrees. If it doesn't go down, we might have to send him to another hospital."

"Kids these days are really something. They can't even take care of themselves when they're away from their parents. They insist on going to class even though they have a fever."

"Yeah, it's easy to catch a cold or fever during the transition from autumn to winter, and you're wearing so little."

Song Shuyang closed his sore eyes and remembered that this autumn there was no one around him who called him via video and forced him to take out his thick clothes.

After leaving Jin Zhou, he didn't even know that he needed to put on more clothes when the weather got cold.

There were footsteps outside the curtain. Seeing that he was awake, the school doctor finally felt relieved. "You are really scary, kid. You collapsed in class. Auntie will take your temperature again. If the fever is still high, you have to go to the hospital."

The school doctor picked up the thermometer and scanned it at him, frowning. "It's still 39 degrees. Are you from here? If your family isn't nearby, I'll call an ambulance."

Sick people become emotionally fragile. He buried his face in the quilt and said, "Yes," amidst a huge hum of anxiety and fear.

"Well, then tell me your phone number and I'll help you contact your family."

Song Shuyang reported a string of numbers that were all too familiar.

Before the call was connected, the school doctor asked him, "Who is this to you?"

Song Shuyang opened his mouth, but the two words that used to flow so smoothly were stuck in his throat and he couldn't say them.

He didn't want Jin Zhou to be his brother anymore.

Song Shuyang closed his eyes and said another three words in despair.

"Boy friend."

To the school doctor's surprise, the call went through.

She was a little worried that the child was confused due to the fever, so she changed her words to something more vague, "Hello, is this Song Shuyang's family? Yes, it's like this. He fainted during class today because of a high fever and was sent to the school clinic. Now the fever has not subsided. Our medical facilities here are also limited. Can you come over and take him to a hospital outside?"

Jin Zhou on the other end of the phone quickly responded: "Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes."

"Um... could you please tell me what your relationship is with your students?"

The school doctor was waiting, and Song Shuyang was also waiting.

Jin Zhou said: "I am his brother."

The school doctor hung up the phone call which contained a huge amount of information.

Jin Zhou arrived earlier than agreed. He first asked about the specific situation in detail, then lifted the curtain and saw Song Shuyang with a flushed face inside.

He lifted a corner of the quilt, and his heart twitched.

"Why are you only wearing so little?"

It's November now, and some people who are afraid of the cold have put on down jackets, but he is still only wearing a thin long-sleeved shirt.

Song Shuyang was so delirious from fever that he couldn't even recognize the people in front of him and could only cry out in cold.

The school doctor said, "Wrap yourself in a blanket and go out. It's okay. You can come back later. Don't catch a cold again."

Jin Zhou said thank you, picked him up with the quilt, held him in his arms and walked out.

The school doctor hesitated for a long time, but finally reminded him out of humanitarianism: "The rectum absorbs quickly, so remember to clean it out after every use, otherwise the recipient will easily get sick and have a fever."

Jin Zhou frowned, "Why do you think we have that kind of relationship?"

"He said so himself."

"He said you were his boyfriend."
