Chapter 119: Darkness Under the Lamp

"Where is this?" Luo Mei waited until Linlang closed the door before asking.

Linlang pondered over it. "I reckon if they find out you've escaped again, they'll be furious and send everyone to search the entire village. The church and hospital will probably be underattacked. I might as well make a surprise attack and return to the basement. There's a secret passage under the garden that leads directly to the church. I don't think they'll expect me to come back."

“That’s right!”
Luo Mei shook her head. "You think it's easy. This is a huge risk!"
"Don't worry, I have my own way." Linlang was full of confidence.
Although Luo Mei was a little confused, she knew that Linlang was very intelligent. Since she was so confident, she thought she would not lie.

Linlang crouched down under the window, secretly watching every move outside. Luo Mei didn't listen to her and also hid beside her.
"Why don't you go in?" Linlang was a little anxious.
"You underestimate me too much. I have been wandering around the martial arts world for so many years. When have I ever asked others to protect me and then hide myself away?"

"Hmm... very likely. This will keep them busy for a while!"
Linlang nodded, "It's just... I always feel that what Vina Yun said in the room just now has a hidden meaning!"
