Chapter 131: The Devil's Cave
Yin Chuan and Lin Lang walked into the ward first. After taking a casual look around, Yin Chuan casually asked, "Was it Luo Mei who rescued you here?"
"Yes, thank goodness for her, otherwise, I might have been thrown into the river by that Ma Lao Ba."
"When you woke up, was it Dr. Yun who treated you?"

As the door opened, a strong, damp smell rushed towards them. Yin Chuan and Lin Lang quickly covered their mouths and noses. At the same time, Yin Chuan could also smell a faint smell of blood in the damp air.
The Cao Gang brothers found a portable oil lamp and used it to illuminate the room for Yin Chuan and Lin Lang. Yin Chuan then saw the inside of the room clearly. It turned out that a thick layer of hay covered the inside. A horizontal iron pole was fixed to the wall, and from it hung several iron chains with round iron hoops at the ends. What made them a little uneasy was that there were spots of blood on the iron pole, the chains, the hoops, and even on the hay.

Then she pointed to the right and said, "This is the secret passage that leads directly to the confessional in the church."
Yin Chuan nodded, but didn't move forward immediately. Instead, he looked around the morgue. It was completely empty, with only a stone platform for the bodies by the wall and some hay piled in the corner.
"Linlang, did you hear any sound?" Yin Chuan seemed to have noticed something and looked up.
"Sound? Where is the sound?"

"Is that the sound of flowing water?" Linlang concentrated and listened carefully. There seemed to be a very subtle "gurgling" sound of water, but it was so subtle that it could not be heard at all unless in a completely quiet environment.
"Why is there a sound of running water above my head?" Linlang was a little puzzled.
"That's not surprising," Yin Chuan said. "Remember, the garden up there is divided into four square areas by two canals, one horizontal and one vertical. The sound of flowing water we hear here should be the canal that leads from the canal to the easternmost part of the garden. Yin Chuan then walked to the entrance to the secret passage on the right, where the secret door was already wide open. Linlang shook her head. "I don't think it's in this secret passage. I can't tell you exactly where it is."
