Chapter 1
In the middle of summer, on the WK campus, Fang Chen was running around in a loose white short-sleeved shirt with "Super Pizza" printed on the front. It was a promotional shirt distributed by the store, and everyone thought it was ugly, so Fang Chen simply took them all.
Wear one when it's hot.
It’s cold, so wear two pieces of clothing together.
Building 5, Room 301.
Fang Chen lowered his head and struggled to find the name in the long list of takeout orders. He poked his head in from the door and shouted, "McKen! McCann!"
"What are you shouting for? Looking for me?" A hoarse boy's voice sounded above my head.
Fang Chen was startled and looked up suddenly. A strong man with short hair was standing in front of him, with his arms crossed and looking at him with a frown.
Fang Mochen measured it silently and estimated that his thigh was about as thick as his arm.
He silently took two steps back, raised the pizza box in his hand, and said with a slightly stiff pronunciation, "Delivery."
The lunch box was held high. McCann ordered three boxes, which were stacked up and held high, covering the boy's entire body. Only his slender fingers could be seen, pressing tightly against the outside of the box.
Mikan easily picked it up with one hand, "Okay, got it."
"Wait, wait a minute!" Fang Chen spoke quickly. His palms were sweating from the oppressive force of the strong man. He stammered, "Please give us one... one..."
Damn, how do you say the word "good review"?
Fang Chen became more and more anxious and speechless. His mind went blank, and he heard a deep voice coming from inside the door, "McKen, what are you dawdling about?"
The owner of the voice seemed taller than the burly man in front of him. He was walking towards the door, and his shadow was cast on the door panel, making it dark. Fang Chen quickly shut up, turned around and ran away with the remaining takeout box.
Xisi came out and said impatiently, "You're half an hour late. Everyone is waiting for you, and you're standing at the door chatting with others?"
While speaking, the man raised his eyes slightly, and saw a loose white short-sleeved shirt blown up by the wind at the corner of the stairs. The sunlight shone in it, and he could vaguely see a slender figure passing by.
The man's expression grew even colder.
McCann is notoriously playful and can date seven or eight women in seven days a week.
"If you're in a hurry to go to bed, you don't have to come today."
McCann cried out in injustice, holding up the box in his hand, "I'm picking up takeout, seriously."
Sis glanced at him coldly, turned around and walked inside. Macon quickly followed him, "But you really should have come out earlier. The delivery guy was a pretty boy. Maybe you would like him..."
The words stopped abruptly, and under Sith's gloomy gaze, Macon quickly closed his mouth.
He said this on purpose. Some time ago, Sith finally got tired of the endless love letters and confessors who randomly appeared in various places, so he simply said that he liked boys.
The man spoke slowly and coldly, "Do you want to get out now?"
Macon smiled ingratiatingly, "I was wrong, Sis. I will definitely watch my mouth."
He didn't dare to anger Sis, otherwise he would be forced to drop out of WK tomorrow.
Thinking of this, he quickly walked into the classroom and said in a light tone, "Hey, guys, I ordered a pizza from the most popular place. Let's eat something first and then work on the group report."
*
After delivering all the takeout in his hands, he had already run around half a circle of the school. When Fang Chenre returned to the store, he collapsed on the chair, wishing he could be like the little white dog in the store, panting with his tongue out.
"Xiao Chen, were you the one who delivered the order for Building No. 5 just now?!"
The clerk Jieming ran over, grabbed Fang Chen's hand and shook it vigorously.
"Have you seen Sith? Rumor has it he's been holding team meetings in Building 5 quite a bit lately."
"Who?" Fang Chen pulled his hand back forcefully. "I only know Fascists, but he probably wouldn't order pizza."
"Oh my god, you don't know Sith? Sith Bolton! Are you really a student of WK?"
Hearing the last sentence, Fang Chen felt guilty for a moment, afraid that someone would notice that the core of this body had been replaced. He quickly sat up slightly and coughed, "I'm a freshman, but I think I remember, isn't he in great shape?"
On campus, those who are called by name are either handsome or have good figures.
But to be so sought after by a gay, the one must have eight-pack abs and a big waist.
"More than that!!" Benjamin's eyes sparkled. "Cess Bolton has won the inter-school boxing tournament three times in a row and is the most likely to win the ICK gold belt! And, most importantly, he's from the Bolton family! That's the most powerful aristocratic family in the entire northwest."
Jieming spoke like a machine gun the whole time. Fang Chen's language skills were poor to begin with, so he was stunned and could only barely catch a few key words.
Boxing, nobility.
It’s like doing cloze test in CET-6.
Fang Chen said "Oh".
Boxing.
He thought again of the burly man he saw when delivering pizza today. His muscles were so strong that it made people dizzy.
Is this considered a good figure?
He said nonchalantly, "I didn't see it."
Benjamin's expression immediately dimmed, but it only took two seconds before he perked up again and clenched his fists. "I must go watch the inter-school boxing match next month. I'll go buy a few more bags of potato chips."
"…What does this have to do with you buying potato chips?"
"Come on, do you know how much a ticket to the inter-school boxing match is going for? Three thousand dollars!" Benjamin held up three fingers and made an exaggerated expression. "Even if you sold me, I still couldn't afford it."
"But PLL potato chips are a sponsor of the boxing match, and they're running a promotion. This month's new chips come with a raffle card inside, and the grand prize is a ticket to the boxing match."
Fang Chen was speechless. "What's the difference between this probability and winning the lottery?"
"Well, you should always have dreams."
Fang Chen waved his hand and didn't continue chatting with him. After resting enough, he got up and continued to deliver pizzas.
After all, he was paid by piecework, and in order to avoid starving to death next month, he had no choice but to grit his teeth and persevere.
Bullshit book travel!
Damn fate!
Damn foreign countries!
He is so unlucky!!!
Yes, Fang Chen came from a book.
Before this, he was just an ordinary college student. When he stayed up late to play games, water spilled on a broken wire and the power went out. The next second, he was sent here by the water.
When I woke up again, I was on the plane, and messy memories came flooding back.
He traveled through time and space and became a cannon fodder with the same name and surname in a book he had read before.
Fang Chen is very free and easy. His parents have passed away long ago, so there is nothing to worry about. He might as well travel through a book and experience another life.
As I recall, this cannon fodder was a "fake young master" in a novel about a wealthy family, who was constantly causing trouble and courting death.
Fang Chen is eager to try!
It doesn't matter! Let's see how he turns the tide!
Let him see, has he traveled to the beginning of the story and needs him to deal with the real young master in advance, or has it reached the climax and all kinds of troubles start?
Looking around, Fang Chen was shocked to find that he was on the plane with an empty bottle of sleeping pills in his hand.
What the hell, I went straight to the finale.
The cannon fodder had been sent abroad to fend for himself, but unexpectedly he was still so brave that he chose to commit suicide on the plane.
After sorting out the relationship, Fang Chen's eyes darkened.
I wish I could dig out another bottle of sleeping pills.
Help!
He hasn't passed level six yet.
The worst thing is to leave a child behind, and the game will start to collapse.
But I didn't expect that worse was yet to come.
Because of all the things that cannon fodder Fang Chen did, the Fang family blocked all contact information of Fang Chen after paying his tuition in one lump sum.
Fang Chen went crazy looking at the string of red exclamation marks.
No, may I ask???
Can you give me another chance?
He has really changed now!
There's no point in going crazy, you can only work.
After settling down, Fang Chen started looking for a job. He used his mobile phone to translate while trying hard to memorize words with a dictionary.
I have had this ambition for a long time. I would have passed level 60, not to mention level 6.
But it must be said that it is the environment that shapes people.
At least he can now barely communicate with everyone.
But all we can do now is deliver food.
It was not until the evening, after delivering the last order, that Fang Chen was almost fainting from hunger. He could not hold on any longer and went back to the dormitory to eat dry bread. He bought some food in advance from a vending machine on the way.
I originally wanted to buy the cheapest biscuits to fill my stomach, but after a pause, I ordered the PLL potato chips next to it.
He just suddenly wanted to eat potato chips, and he definitely had no intention of buying a lottery ticket!!!
Fang Chen walked back while tearing open the packaging bag.
A draw card fell out.
He scratched it open with his key and took a peek.
etc……
Fang Chen suddenly froze.
The street lights stretched his shadow long. The boy squatted on the ground, his fingers shaking with nervousness.
Hurry up, check it quickly.
Grand Prize! !
It’s the special prize!!
Fang Chen almost jumped up. He tightly grasped the lottery card, his heart pounding. He said, he was a person who traveled through the book, how could he not have any golden fingers?
Good luck is coming!
*
The next day, when he went to work at the pizza shop, Fang Chen quietly pulled Jieming aside when no one was around.
"I have an expensive watch. Do you know where I can resell it safely?"
Since this ticket is so popular, Fang Chen decided to keep it secret to avoid unnecessary trouble.
"eBay or Mercari are both fine." Benjamin yawned, still a little sleepy from partying at the club last night. "But I suggest you meet someone who's a rich kid in person. That way you can get a higher price."
"Thank you very much. I'll treat you to a beef burger at noon."
Fang Chen patted Jie Ming's shoulder and muttered to himself, "Let's put it on the platform. I don't know any rich people."
"You can go to the party tonight!"
Jieming suddenly remembered, "This is a party for the whole school. The graduate school is almost all rich second-generations. Your watch will definitely sell for a good price!"
WK holds a Back to School Party every year at the beginning of the school year, and the time is tonight. I have heard about this from Jieming before, but Fang Chen was busy making money at that time and naturally had no interest in such things.
Fang Chen was still hesitant, but Jie Ming became excited, "Yes, come to the party with me, you are so cute, let me dress you up!"
On the first day he met Fang Chen, Jie Ming kept saying that he was cute and called him "cute boy" all day long. In the end, Fang Chen couldn't stand it anymore and forced him to shut up.
After hearing what Jie Ming said, Fang Chen hesitated even more, "Forget it, I think I'd better stay on the platform..."
"No, no, no, you must go with me." Jieming quickly grabbed Fang Chen's hand and said, "I will introduce you to several rich people. I swear, I will make at least two hundred dollars more than what you sell on the platform!"
This was an animal-themed costume party, and Jieming was already imagining what to dress Fang Chen up as: a bunny? Or a lamb?
-
"What a boring party."
Sis leaned lazily on the sofa, his legs crossed, and a pair of leather boots casually placed on the table.
"Please, the great Mr. Cece Bolton, please be kind."
Joey grimaced, "This party was planned by my cousin, and she ordered me to invite you to be there."
"This is your last year of graduate school. Don't you want to leave behind a good memory?"
In response to Joey's words, the man simply said coldly, "I won't waste my time on such stupid activities."
Joey was so anxious that he rubbed his hands but there was nothing he could do.
Seeing the man's increasingly impatient expression, Joey suddenly remembered something and slapped his thigh. "Cis, do you know about someone forging tickets for the boxing match?"
The man finally raised his eyes, his eyes dark, "What?"
Joey works in the logistics department and is quick to learn about the news. "More than a dozen people have been scammed, and the amount is not small. I've seen the fake bills, and they look very real."
Xisi's face turned cold. "Didn't you call the police? Are the production team useless?"
"Of course we've called the police," Joey said quickly. "This guy's nicknamed 'Grease Rat,' and he's a repeat offender. The police can't do anything about him right now, but I think he'll probably go to this party. After all, privately selling tickets is more profitable."
Joey deliberately said, "Cis, someone is doing something tricky during your boxing match. Aren't you going to deal with him?"
The man sneered.
He stood up slowly and straightened his sleeves. "That's a good way to provoke someone."
Ignoring Joey's anxious look, Sis held his coat in one hand and walked towards the door, but he paused after only two steps.
"I'll be at the party though, right, Mouse? I'm looking forward to seeing him stomped to death."
