Chapter 7
"Hey! Xiao Chen! Baby?"
After Jieming called out a few times, Fang Chen came to his senses and quickly handed the ticket back.
"What's wrong with you?"
Fang Chen hesitated for a moment, then shook his head, "It's okay."
Maybe he was overthinking it.
How could it be such a coincidence?
However, Jieming supported his chin and didn't care. Instead, he couldn't help but talk to Fang Chen about his new boyfriend.
Fang Chen's mind was in a mess, and he only listened with one ear.
The two of them sat for a while, and then Benjamin's cell phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID, a smile immediately appeared on his face, and he quickly picked up the phone.
I don't know what the other end said, but Benjamin laughed even more happily. After hanging up the phone, he immediately stood up with his bag, "Baby, my boyfriend is here to pick me up, I have to go first."
Fang Chen nodded quickly, "Okay, see you tomorrow."
Watching Benjamin walk out, Fang Chen hesitated for a moment, then quietly stood up and followed him to the door, then stopped and looked outside.
Benjamin hugged and kissed the man passionately.
It was the “horn” man that day.
Today he was wearing a gray vest and had his back to Fang Chen. Because they were standing under the street light, Fang Chen could see clearly that the "bull-horned" man had an eagle tattoo on his shoulder.
Fang Sichen complained silently, why it seemed that foreigners liked tattoos more. He suddenly thought of Sith, did he have tattoos too?
After being lost in thought for a few seconds, Fang Chen shook his head violently.
Why miss him!
Don't be corrupted by money!!
But I don’t know if it was because I thought about it for a few seconds, but when I went back home at night, I actually saw Sis downstairs of the dormitory building.
The man, wearing a black shirt and trousers, was completely invisible in the night. He leaned against the car door, a cigarette between his teeth, only a small crimson flame flickering. He lowered his eyes slightly, his expression casual and indifferent.
Isn't he the legendary star boxer who eluded everyone? His occasional visit to school always caused quite a stir. What happened these past two days? We've been running into each other time and again.
Fang Chen muttered to himself, trying to pretend that he didn't see it, but the man seemed to have sensed it and looked in this direction.
oh! no!
But the next second, the boy immediately put on a smile, looking very obedient, and walked over to greet him honestly, "Cis, what a coincidence, why are you here? Do you also live in the student dormitory?"
That shouldn’t be the case, right?
Rich people should live in their own villas.
Xisi stared at him for two seconds, paused, and stubbed out the cigarette in his hand. "I'm here to wait for a friend."
Fang Chen nodded, "Oh."
The two were silent for a while.
Why is it that every time I talk to Sith I end up in such an awkward situation?
Fang Chen's toes first tentatively touched a building, and then continued to move towards the castle.
He was struggling over whether to say goodbye, but luckily Sis spoke up at this time, "Why are you back so late?"
Fang Chen breathed a sigh of relief and quickly continued the conversation, "I went out to eat with my friends. Have you eaten yet?"
Basic domestic etiquette!
When meeting someone, ask if they have eaten first.
Sis paused for a moment and said, "No."
“…”
If you haven’t eaten yet, go eat it!!
How can people respond if you tell them this!!!
Fang Chen said with a stiff face, "Um... I packed some fried chicken from the burger shop. Do you want some?"
"Is it convenient?" Sis asked politely.
But before Fang Chen could speak, he quickly added, "Thank you."
Fang Chen choked and handed the bag in his hand over reluctantly. He was planning to use the fried chicken for tomorrow's lunch.
"It might be a little cold. You'll need to heat it up in the oven when you get home." Fang Chen licked his lips. "But theirs tastes good."
"good."
Sith's eyes fell on his mouth, paused for two seconds, and then moved away as if nothing had happened, "I'll go back and try it."
Since you have encountered it anyway, why not ask proactively?
Fang Chen hesitated for a moment and whispered, "Excuse me, may I ask if there's a guy named Chuck in the logistics department of your boxing club?"
Fang Chen measured it and said, "His arms are quite thick, with several muscles."
In the night, the gray-blue eyes became gloomy.
The man narrowed his eyes, but his tone remained normal. "There are quite a few people in the club, and I don't know many of them."
Fang Chen regretted asking, feeling that he was being too presumptuous. He slapped his head and said repeatedly, "Sorry, I just asked casually, just pretend you didn't hear it."
"It's okay." The man said politely, "I'll ask for you when I get back. I'll let you know when I have any news."
Fang Chen waved his hand and wanted to forget it, but Xisi raised his chin and said, "It's getting late, go back and rest."
Shortly after everyone left, Joey came out of the dormitory building and got into the car directly. He was flattered and asked, "You actually came to pick me up in person today?"
Every time the club held a meeting, Sis was either absent or late. This was the first time that he actually took the initiative to say that he would pick him up downstairs of the student dormitory.
Thinking of Sith's sexual orientation, Joey became alert, "You know, I have a girlfriend."
Sith gave him a cold glance, "Girlfriend? Are you talking about last week's or yesterday's?"
Joey choked and turned his head. He happened to see a paper bag and asked in surprise, "What is this? God, you actually eat fried chicken?"
Sis was very strict about his daily routine and diet. He usually ate customized nutritious meals and rarely ate out, let alone high-calorie foods like fried chicken.
The man stretched out his big hand and snatched it away, his tone cold, "Don't touch my things."
Joey raised his hand, "Ok!"
"Do you know Chuck? He's also from the logistics department."
"Chuck?" Joey scratched his head. "I don't remember much. You know, there have been a few new people here recently. I need to go back and ask them. What's going on? What's so special about him?"
Sith raised the corner of his lips with sarcasm and indifference.
He lit another cigarette, took a drag, and then said, "So much nonsense."
*
Fang Chen received a message from Sis the next morning, saying that there was indeed a person named Chuck in the club.
The man paused, then casually mentioned that Chuck had no muscles.
"Maybe I'm just fat, or maybe I have a big frame."
"Muscle is built through training, by tearing down muscle fibers."
Fang Chen turned on the speaker of his phone, placed it on the dining table, and turned around to open the packaging bag.
Hearing the voice from the other side, Sis paused and turned to ask him, "What do you want to eat in the morning?"
"The frozen pizza I brought back from the store." Fang Chen turned the oven and set the temperature.
This time he didn't ask whether Cis had eaten breakfast.
I was afraid that the two frozen pizzas in the refrigerator would also be stolen.
"Thank you for finding someone."
Knowing that Chuck was indeed a member of the club, Fang Chen felt a little relieved. The ticket should not be fake.
There was silence on the phone for two seconds, and then Sis asked calmly, "Chuck, is he your friend?"
Fang Chen hummed, "He's my friend's boyfriend, I'm afraid he'll be cheated."
After a while, a laugh came through the phone.
Fang Chen pursed his lips and whispered, "What are you laughing at?"
"Nothing." Sis said, "I'm in a good mood this morning."
Perhaps because this phone call cleared up Fang Chen's doubts, or perhaps because the pizza tasted good this morning, Fang Chen was in a good mood today.
Because he had classes in the morning, he arrived at the pizza shop at noon.
As soon as he arrived, he was pulled aside by Jie Ming.
"Xiao Chen, there is an opportunity to make a fortune, do you want it?"
Fang Chen, “…”
Domestic scams all use this as an opening statement.
He said carefully, "I still think it's better to earn money through hard work."
Jieming rolled his eyes. "It was you who came up with this idea. Have you forgotten?"
“???”
"Didn't you suggest I sell the extra ticket? I asked Chuck last night, and he said he could get more tickets, but they wouldn't be free. They'd be a thousand bucks a pop."
Jieming stretched out two fingers and waved them in front of Fang Chen. "We can resell them and make two thousand dollars per piece!"
It does sound like a good deal.
But Fang Chen just felt that there was something wrong with the ticket yesterday, and now he is trying to resell the ticket again, so he can't help but feel suspicious.
He pursed his lips, "So... do you want to buy it?"
"It's such a great opportunity, I definitely want it." Benjamin paused, then said with a bitter face, "But I don't have enough money, so I can only buy ten tickets first."
"How about it? I was thinking of you for this kind of good thing."
Fang Chen didn't believe that pie would fall from the sky at all. The only things that would fall from the sky were unlucky guys like him who had traveled through a book.
But if he allowed Benjamin to resell the tickets on his own, Fang Chen felt a little uneasy, as he always felt that something was wrong.
"You know I don't have any money." Fang Chen spread his hands and said, "I made a little money from selling watches last time. I'll buy three first."
"But..." Fang Chen changed the subject, "Can we trade face to face?"
Jie Ming nodded, "Of course."
In front of Fang Chen, Jie Ming called his boyfriend, who immediately agreed and said he would wait for them in the cafe tomorrow.
After hanging up the phone, Jieming shook his phone at Fang Chen and said, "We are going to get rich soon."
The screen went dark, and Fang Chen saw Jieming's screensaver. His eyes almost popped out of his head. "You...you...what kind of photo is this?"
"What's wrong?" Benjamin looked down at himself and laughed twice. "It was the picture I took of Chuck after we did it last time. His butt is very perky, isn't it?"
“…” Fang Chen really wanted to wash his eyes.
Benjamin was still mumbling to himself, "But he won't be fighting in the ring. He's still a bit smaller than the average boxer."
Fang Chen couldn't help but ask, "Do all boxers have good figures?"
"Of course."
Jieming flipped through the photo album and showed Fang Chen a photo. "This is a screenshot from the last Sith match. Oh my God, look at those muscles, look at those body proportions..."
Jie Ming's words rang in his ears, but Fang Chen couldn't hear a single word.
He was completely captivated by the photo, his eyes widening in shock.
The few times I'd seen Sith, he was always well-dressed. I'd only noticed his tall stature, broad shoulders, and narrow waist. Even when he held me through his shirt, I could feel his muscles. But I'd never imagined that a shirtless man would have such beautifully defined muscles, so firm and defined, like ravines carved by a knife.
After dozens of seconds, Fang Chen's gaze fell on the man's chest muscles again.
He swallowed lightly.
He remembered that day, in the abandoned factory, he panicked and bumped into Sith's arms, burying his whole face in the hard and elastic place.
So there...
Is it Sith's pectoral muscles?
