Chapter 24 I Know Who Stole Your Goods

Lan Yao gave an "oh," seemingly unconcerned: "Now that this matter is settled, let's go to the outskirts. Didn't the scrap yard say they were going to move things out tonight? After they've finished collecting those things, we'll go to Lan Jiaojiao's place to see her cheat code."

Jade Pixiu: "...But, Master, you received a batch before, do they still have goods to send out?"

Lan Yao said with great certainty, "Yes. What I took was just the tip of the iceberg. As for the big stuff, I don't know where the small fry are. I'll go and check first. If I happen to find out where the big stuff is, I won't have to make so many trips."

Jade Pixiu: "I believe that tonight, my master's wish will surely come true."

Lan Yao stretched and said, "Then I'll take your good wishes."

Lan Yao took out a bicycle from her spatial storage. She added a small accelerator to the bicycle, making it as fast as a car. This was her secret weapon for traveling to so many places over the past few days.

Otherwise, how could she possibly run around to so many places on her own two legs so late at night? That's simply impossible.

Lan Yao rode her bicycle and sped off towards the outskirts. At that moment, a group of young men had gathered in a secluded courtyard in the suburbs. One of the men, who was in charge, sat on a chair and looked at the men who were being forced to kneel on the ground with an unfriendly expression.

He asked in a chilling tone, "You're saying the shipment you received during the day has vanished?"

The men kneeling on the ground nodded hurriedly.

"Brother Sen, we're telling the truth."

"Brother Sen, we're not lying to you. We don't know how we suddenly passed out, and when we woke up, everything in the warehouse was gone."

"Yes. They just vanished into thin air. We're not lying; we've heard that many wealthy families in the city have recently lost their valuables in this way."

He smashed the walnut he was playing with on the ground, stood up, and laughed angrily, "Do you think I'm stupid? How could such an outrageous thing happen?"

“Brother Sen, we’re telling the truth, we’re not lying.”

“Brother Sen, how could we possibly steal from our own company? We don’t have any sales channels, we just want to get a share of the profits.”

"Brother Sen, you have to believe us, we really wouldn't dare."

The people kneeling on the ground were talking amongst themselves, their faces filled with fear and terror, and they didn't seem to be lying.

The man called Brother Sen frowned. Just then, the gate of the courtyard was opened, and a tall man walked in with a pretty woman in his arms.

The pretty woman said confidently, "I know who stole your goods, and I also know how she did it."
