The Lan family members' expressions changed. Hua Mudan didn't tolerate Lan Jiaojiao at all; she was just a bastard who came from who-knows-where, but luckily became the Lan family's daughter.

"Ha, you keep saying I stole her jade pendant. Her jade pendant can hide things, but you're crying 'stop thief'! I dare not stay in your Lan family anymore, it's simply a den of wolves and tigers."
She shook off Lan Jiaojiao, looked at Old Master Lan with burning eyes: "Give me a letter severing ties, so we can never see each other again, not even to the ends of the earth. Otherwise, if I stay any longer, I won't even know how I died."
When Grandpa Lan met Lan Yao's bright, dark eyes, he couldn't help but ask, "Who are you?" as it was the first time he had seen this girl.
