Chapter 117 Comrade Blue Sky?

When Guan Wenru arrived at the logistics minister's office, she did not embellish the story.

As soon as she explained the situation, Fang Xuechang's face darkened, and he immediately went with her to the sheep pen.

As soon as he entered the shed, Fang Xuechang glared at Wang Defa and issued an ultimatum: "From now on, get back to your company. I can't afford to use you here!"

Wang Defa was unwilling to accept this, "Why? Minister, it was clearly her..."

"Shut up!" Fang Xuechang was hot-tempered and didn't want to waste time arguing with people. "Here, I'm the boss! Get back here now, or I'll make you go to your leader!"

Wang Defa was unwilling to accept this situation; many soldiers wanted to squeeze into the logistics department after enlisting.

He finally got here, but he was kicked out after only two days!

It's all Guan Wenru's fault!

After handling the matter, Fang Xuechang left.

Before leaving, Wang Defa glared fiercely at Guan Wenru, "Do you really think you can rely on Commander He's power forever? Just you wait, Commander He has already found his sweetheart, and he'll divorce you soon!"

The people present: "..."

"Get out!" Wang Dagui angrily threw the scissors in his hand, almost hitting Wang Defa on the head.

Wang Defa snorted and left angrily.

Wang Dagui looked at Guan Wenru and said, "Guan, don't listen to his nonsense."

Guan Wenru squinted, "It's alright, you guys continue."

She turned and walked out, her face darkening.

Even the lowest-ranking soldiers in a company knew that He Yanzhi had someone he liked.

It seems that her marriage with He Yanzhi is doomed to end!

Watching Guan Wenru's departing figure, Wang Dagui frowned.

He was afraid that Wang Defa's words would affect the relationship between Xiao Guan and Commander He.

It seems that he needs to talk to Commander He about this when he returns.

Coming to his senses, he glanced at everyone and sternly reprimanded, "Stop standing around! Get to work! If you can't do this job, tell me now. I'll go talk to the leader and have him send over soldiers who are willing to do it."

As soon as he said that, everyone quickly lowered their heads and got back to work.

The shed bustled with activity once again.

The shouts, the bleating of sheep, and the swishing of razors mingled together once again.

...

A few days later, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

The jeep rolled over the sand dunes, roughly leaving a cloud of dust behind it.

Sitting in the back seat, He Yanzhi squinted, his jawline taut like a bare rock on the Gobi Desert.

A moment later, the jeep finally drove into the military compound.

Before the car had even come to a complete stop, a tall, slender figure strode out from the doorway that bore a wooden sign that read "Commander's Office".

This man was Li Tieshan, the commander of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.

He was also He Yanzhi's comrade-in-arms.

"Old He!" Li Tieshan's voice was like the friction of sand and gravel.

He rushed over and excitedly grabbed He Yanzhi's arm as he jumped out of the car, with astonishing force.

His gaze was intense, almost piercing through He Yanzhi. "Old He, you've finally arrived! It's been so long since we last saw each other!"

He Yanzhi chuckled and hugged him. "It's been more than three years."

"Hahaha! That's right, that's right!" Li Tieshan laughed heartily, and the two exchanged a few more pleasantries.

Li Tieshan knew why He Yanzhi had come. He pulled He Yanzhi and quickly walked into the office, closing the door behind him.

Getting straight to the point, "I've already negotiated, but they still won't release him. He's currently in the 'reflection room' behind the regimental headquarters."

He pointed in a direction, his eyes dark, "People from above have come and said that her family background is problematic. Her maternal grandfather fled to the other side of the strait, so she has a very serious historical legacy. Now the organization has suspended all her performance activities and placed her under quarantine for investigation!"

He Yanzhi: "..."

This problem was more complicated than he had imagined.

In this situation, to prevent espionage, Comrade Lan Tian cannot remain in the cultural troupe.

Seeing his grim expression, Li Tieshan sighed, "I understand how you feel, but now that Deputy Director Zhang is personally overseeing things in the Political Department, and his attitude is tough, I'm afraid..."

“Lead the way!” He Yanzhi said decisively, pulling down the brim of his hat.

His eyes, hidden beneath the brim of his hat, were sharp as knives; no matter what, he had to repay the debt of gratitude.

Seeing his insistence, Li Tieshan had no choice but to take him there.

...

The so-called "reflection room" was nothing more than an abandoned storage room in the backyard of the regimental headquarters.

The door panel was thin, with a cold iron lock hanging on it.

Outside the door, two young guards stood like wooden stakes, their faces expressionless.

The air was filled with a suffocating smell of dust and mildew.

He Yanzhi walked straight to the door, his steps quick and swift.

"Sir!" A guard stepped forward nervously, trying to stop him. "Deputy Director Zhang has ordered that no one is allowed to..."

"Get out of the way!" He Yanzhi's voice was not loud, but it carried the imposing aura of someone who had long held a superior position and an undisguised anger.

He stepped aside, his gaze sweeping over the guard's young, slightly bewildered face. "I vouch for this with my Party membership and military rank! This woman inside is a good soldier in the revolutionary ranks! Open the door!"

He spoke each word with tremendous force, echoing through the quiet backyard.

The guards were intimidated by his imposing manner and subconsciously took a half step back, their lips trembling as they dared not forcefully obstruct him any further.

Just then, a middle-aged man wearing thick black-rimmed glasses and with a neatly parted hairstyle walked over. He was none other than Deputy Director Zhang from the Political Department.

He looked at He Yanzhi thoughtfully, with a scrutinizing gaze and a hint of barely perceptible arrogance.

"Commander He? What are you doing here? What happened that made you so angry?"

He Yanzhi stared at him with his dark eyes. "Deputy Director Zhang, I'm here to see Comrade Lan Tian. Please open the door."
