Wan Tao stopped looking at her and held his mother tightly. "Mother, let's go back."
He pulled his mother inside.

Guan Wenru was even more furious. She stepped forward and shoved Gu Siyu, who was about to pounce on her, her voice stern and her eyes like knives:
"Gu Siyu! Shut up! Political Commissar Wan's leg was injured on the battlefield while defending our country! He's a hero! A meritorious official! Even if his leg can't be healed, he's still a true hero! Who gives you the right to mock and slander him?!"
After saying that, Guan Wenru turned to the guards at the gate and said, "Comrade! Drag her away! Throw her to the side of the road! If she dares to shout and slander soldiers again at the gate of the military region, call the police to take her away! She will be punished for undermining the unity between the military and the people and for insulting active-duty soldiers!"
The sentry immediately saluted, "Yes, sir!"
Two soldiers immediately stepped forward and, without any politeness, grabbed Gu Siyu, who was still cursing, and dragged her out.
The two children were so frightened that they cried loudly and quickly followed.
Guan Wenru stopped looking at them and called to the other military dependents, "Sisters-in-law, let's all go inside! It's not worth wasting our breath getting angry over people like this! Let's go home and cook!"
"That's right, that's right!" Everyone gave Gu Siyu, who looked like she was going crazy, one last disdainful look before following Guan Wenru into the gate.
