The third day of the Lunar New Year is still full of festive spirit.
Ruyi Home-Style Restaurant remains open for business as usual.
Guan Wenru paid the remaining employees triple their wages, which boosted their morale.
However, Guan Wenru took a break and planned to spend time with her family.
Early that morning, the courtyard was quiet, and sunlight streamed through the window lattices, casting warm dappled patterns.
The triplets He Yi, He Qi, and He Sheng were still snuggled in their warm blankets, their little faces flushed from sleep.
He Yanzhi and Guan Wenru tiptoed into their room and smiled at each other.
Guan Wenru bent down, gently pinched He Sheng's little nose, and softly called out, "Little heroes, the sun is shining on your bottoms, it's time to get up."
He Yanzhi then rubbed his slightly stubbled chin against He Yi and He Qi's cheeks, and said with a smile, "If you don't get up now, you'll miss out on the good stuff."
He Sheng waved his hand impatiently, his eyes still tightly closed, and mumbled, "Ugh... just five more minutes... Mom... Dad... so sleepy... it's holiday now, and I'm not going to school, let me sleep a little longer..."
He Yi shrank his head further under the covers.
He Qi even rolled over, turning his backside towards the parents who were harassing them.
He Yanzhi and Guan Wenru exchanged a glance and raised their eyebrows.

Guan Wenru cleared her throat, raised her voice slightly, and spoke with obvious seduction:
"Well, seeing how well you've been behaving lately, especially He Sheng's act of bravery, your parents and I decided to take you on a road trip to another province this holiday!"

"Mom?! What did you say? Buy a car? We bought a car?! Really? You can't lie to a kid like that during the New Year!!"
He Yi eagerly asked for confirmation, "Dad! Is what Mom said true? We have our own car now?"
Even He Qi, who is usually quite calm, nervously gripped the corner of the blanket and looked at his parents expectantly.
Seeing his three sons' ecstatic expressions, He Yanzhi finally couldn't help but laugh out loud with Guan Wenru.
He waved his hand and pointed towards the courtyard gate, "Whether it's true or not, why don't you go to the gate and see for yourself?"
Before the words were even finished, the triplets, like three arrows released from a bow, rushed out of the house in their thermal underwear and cotton shoes, shouting and yelling, without even bothering to put on their coats, and ran wildly towards the courtyard gate.

Guan Wenru walked to the door and saw her three sons surrounding the brand-new black car that gleamed in the sunlight, touching and jumping around, overjoyed.
She smiled and shook her head, quickly saying, "Alright, alright! Hurry up and go inside to get dressed! Wash up and eat! Then pack your bags, and we'll drive off!"
"Oh!! Mom, I love you!! I knew you meant what you said!" He Sheng shouted excitedly, pulling his two older brothers along, and rushed back into the house like a gust of wind, more than ten times faster than when he got up.
