Chapter 324 Running Away with Him on His Back
Wang Qiming heard that Shen Jinxiu had run away with a man and moved to another place with his help. She would never come to Inner Mongolia again, which meant that he would be all alone here from now on.
Upon hearing this news, Wang Qiming felt as if the sky was about to fall.

Shen Jinxiu had ruined herself so badly, yet she wanted to get rid of him and live a good life on her own. He absolutely wouldn't allow it. Shen Jinxiu sneered, "Wang Qiming, why don't you marry someone from out of town? That way you won't have to suffer in Inner Mongolia. Otherwise, I think your life will be pretty difficult."

After witnessing this scene, Wang Qiming said, "I am her boyfriend. We have been together for many years. We went to the countryside together. I was just going out to work. How did she run off with you and even marry you?"
"I'm taking her away now."
Chen Gang frowned and said, "I'm already married to her, so it's impossible for you to take her away. Do her parents know about your relationship? Do they think they'll allow you two to be together?"
He looked at Wang Qiming with a probing gaze. Wang Qiming used to look clean and had a good overall demeanor, but after he went to Inner Mongolia, he had been doing some rough work, and he looked both rustic and dark-skinned.
Wang Qiming didn't notice the strange look in Chen Gang's eyes. He said directly, "Of course her parents know that we're together."

This was a lie fabricated by Shen Jinxiu to deceive him. In fact, Shen Jinxiu wasn't entirely fake. The Shen family had always been wealthy, and she had been raised as a young lady of high status. She knew a lot and was capable of many things, so Chen Gang had never doubted what she said.
The way she spoke and acted was exactly what a girl from a well-off family could do; it's something that most people can't fake.
Wang Qiming couldn't help but burst into laughter: "Her parents are both in jail, didn't you know?"
"What?" Chen Gang's eyes widened.
Shen Jinxiu said nervously, "Wang Qiming, shut up!"
She never expected that the secret she had been guarding would not be revealed by Shen Zhixia, but instead be revealed by that fool Wang Qiming.
Wang Qiming sneered, "It seems you've been fooled by this woman too. Her family has no assets at all. Her parents are in prison for committing crimes and won't be out anytime soon. We didn't go to the countryside voluntarily either; we were framed and forced to go to Inner Mongolia."
"She had no other choice but to use you. As long as she marries you, she can leave Inner Mongolia."
Chen Gang's eyes narrowed. He thought he was lucky to have married a rich girl with a political background. With his father-in-law's help, his career and life would be smoother.
You know, he treated Shen Jinxiu very well; he gave her a bride price and the three gold pieces. But now he's telling her that Shen Jinxiu's identity is fake.
It turns out that Shen Jinxiu was the one who was out of her league.
This won't do.
