Chapter 146 Yinyin is pregnant, don't tire her out.

Fu Yucheng lowered his head and kissed the top of her head. The bamboo wind chimes swayed gently in the wind, as if providing accompaniment to the sweetness filling the room.

The next morning, just as Yun Tangyin finished combing her hair, Fu Yucheng came in holding a small bamboo trinket: "Look at this little bamboo mirror frame? I carved a circle of intertwined branches on it. It's lighter than your copper frame and won't be heavy to put in your pocket."

Yun Tangyin took it and looked at herself in the mirror. Her smiling eyes were reflected in the mirror: "It looks better than the brass frame, and it won't scratch your hands."

She slipped a freshly steamed sweet bun into his hand. "Eat it while it's hot. I added jujube paste filling, so it's sweeter than red bean paste."

Fu Yucheng smiled as he bit into the candy packet, the syrup dripping down his chin. Yun Tangyin quickly took out a handkerchief to wipe it for him: "Eat slowly, no one's going to take it from you."

Song Yushuang was carrying a bamboo basket to the market when she heard a noise by the window. She smiled and called out, "Yinyin, give me that light red cloth. I'll make you a little jacket with a peach blossom embroidered on the collar. It'll be prettier than the plain one."

Just as Yun Tangyin was about to respond, Fu Yucheng had already taken the cloth and handed it to her: "Mom, let me help you. Yinyin is pregnant, don't tire her out."

He turned around and winked at Yun Tangyin, "Let Mom embroider it for you more exquisitely, even better than the embroiderers in town."

In the morning, Yun Tangyin sat beside her sewing a small bib. On the pale yellow cloth, she was embroidering a small bamboo wooden horse with very fine stitches.

“Look at the tail of this rocking horse,” she held it up for Fu Yucheng to see, “Isn’t my embroidery perky and spirited?”

Fu Yucheng leaned over to take a look, then reached out and pinched her cheek: "You look energetic."

He slipped a preserved plum into her hand. "Take a break before you start embroidering. Your eyes must be tired."
