Chapter 15 A Legitimate Marriage with a Certificate (1/2)

"Mommy, how could Daddy be a bad person? Daddy is a good person. Every time he comes back, he brings me delicious food, hugs me, and lifts me up high. Daddy is the best," the little boy said innocently.

The woman just cried.

As soon as she received the news, she took a taxi to the police station.

She always thought her man was great—handsome and considerate.

More importantly, they have money.

The money she brought home truly ensured that she lived a life free from financial worries.

Liang Dongmei didn't pay attention; most of the people who came here had committed crimes, so it was normal for their families to cry.

Lu Wenshan, on the other hand, felt that the woman and child looked familiar.

But I can't remember where I've seen it before.

I couldn't help but take another look.

Liang Dongmei followed the gaze and looked over.

The mother and son then approached a police officer and asked, "Excuse me, was Comrade Lu Yuehou brought here?"

"Yes," the police officer answered truthfully, but still asked, "And you are?"

After all, family members had already come; his daughter and wife were there.

But this mother and child in front of me...

All of this made the police officers think a lot.

The woman cried as she said, "I am Lu Yuehou's wife. Can I see him? This is Comrade Lu Yuehou's son. We just want to take a look."

We need to figure out what happened.

Liang Dongmei and Lu Wenshan, who had just stepped out the door, simultaneously pulled back their feet, both looking at the mother and son with disbelief.

Lu Yuehou's wife and son?

What are those two considered?

While the woman was still pleading with the police, Liang Dongmei turned around and quickly stepped forward: "Who are you? You say you're Lu Yuehou's wife? Which Lu Yuehou?"

"What's it to you!" The woman glared at Liang Dongmei, already overwhelmed with worry.

The police also found it strange and casually asked, "How can you prove that you are Lu Yuehou's family member?"

"I have a marriage certificate!" The woman was frantic and hastily pulled a marriage certificate from her backpack. "I'm his wife, I have the right to see him."

The marriage certificate, which looked like an award certificate, was placed in front of the police.

When Liang Dongmei saw the three characters "Lu Yuehou" clearly imprinted in her eyes on the marriage certificate, she almost lost her balance.

Lu Wenshan, who was standing nearby, reached out and helped her up.

Of course, at this moment, Lu Wenshan also saw the name on the marriage certificate.

She subconsciously offered a defense: "Or perhaps it's just a case of having the same name."

How come she didn't know her father had another family outside?

That's really well hidden.

“Yes, it’s a case of the same name,” Liang Dongmei nodded vigorously, her face ashen. She truly couldn’t accept it.

But I don't want it to be true.

"What do you mean by 'same name'? They're looking for Lu Yuehou, who colluded with enemy agents to frame Officer Fu. There's no one else here," the police officer kindly reminded them. "But why are there two groups of family members here, both claiming to be his wife? One with her daughter, the other with her son. Could it be..."

The police officer, who had been looking serious, seemed to have heard some incredible news.

He immediately transformed into a gossipy police officer: "This Lu Yuehou is too amazing. He has two families. One has given him a son, and the other has given him a daughter. How can he manage to keep up with all that? I heard he's a captain and occasionally goes on missions, not coming home for months at a time."

Another junior police officer looked equally incredulous: "Isn't this a crime?!"

If even one person files a complaint, it's considered hooliganism.

Liang Dongmei overheard all the gossip between the two police officers.

She was instantly enraged: "Lu Yuehou, how dare he!"

Lu Wenshan was shocked and quickly grabbed her mother's wrist: "Mom, what's the use of making a scene?"

Liu Jie, who was with her son, naturally heard it as well.

My instinct was to cover the child's ears, but it was too late.

He looked at Liang Dongmei with a mixture of hostility and surprise.

Clearly, Liu Jie is younger than Liang Dongmei.

Although her dress, demeanor, and appearance were not as good as Liang Dongmei's, she was more than ten years younger than Liang Dongmei.
