After talking for almost an hour, the examination report finally came out.
Dr. Jiang took a look at it, smiled and said, "Congratulations, you're going to be parents."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Si and Huo Tingzhou exchanged a glance.
They had already guessed the outcome on the way here, but at this moment they still couldn't control their excitement.
"Thank you, Dr. Jiang," the two said in unison.
Dr. Jiang waved his hand, "You're too kind."
Knowing that Commander Huo wasn't that kind of person, Dr. Jiang still had to give the two of them a brief explanation, as was customary.
She had encountered several cases before where young couples came for checkups happily the day before.
Two days later, the child was gone.
She only found out after asking that the man had hit her.

He added, "I only had sex with her at the end of the month, and she's almost two months pregnant. What else could she be but cheating on me?"
So from then on, Dr. Jiang had to explain all of this properly.
"The number of days of pregnancy is not determined by the date of intercourse, but by the first day of the last menstrual period."
“Your wife had her period on the 2nd of last month. Based on the date, she is about a month and a half pregnant now.”

"The test results are out?"

Dr. Jiang then asked a few more personal questions.
Xu Mingjuan told the whole story.
"Dr. Jiang, given my situation, is it possible that I'm pregnant?"
She found it funny after asking the question.
Last month, the doctor announced that her condition had improved, and she was already thinking that everything would be perfect overnight.
Dr. Jiang's tone was as gentle as ever, "Considering your symptoms and the fact that your period is delayed, this could indeed be good news."
"But it's too early in the pregnancy, and the urine test results might not be accurate if done now."
