"It's nothing, it's nothing." Chris waved her hand dismissively, gesturing for Jiang Si to sit down. "The doctor examined her. These are all superficial injuries, except for a slight fracture in her lower leg. But it's not a big problem, and she'll be discharged soon."
"What happened? Weren't we supposed to be climbing the Great Wall? How did you manage to roll down it?"
That's a long story.
Chris glanced at the door to make sure it was closed before lowering her voice to begin her report.
"I did as you said!"
Jiang Si was taken aback. "As I said?"
"Yeah, we'll just ignore him for a while."
Jiang Si then realized that ever since their last conversation, she had been giving Chi Heng the cold shoulder every day.
Don't ask, the answer is always "I'm busy with work".
I didn't even have time to have lunch with him.
If we bump into each other in the office building, we'll say hello and then quickly run away.
Finally, the weekend arrived, and the two went to the Great Wall together.
Chris also seemed distracted throughout.
