"You two are really... Fine, since Songning has no objections, what else can I say? Do as you please, it's ultimately your life together," Ms. Cui said calmly.
“Let the children handle what they can. Don’t worry about it. When you have time, I’ll take you to the Maldives.” Mr. Xiang smiled as he served Ms. Cui some food.

Xu Songning asked softly, "Is Auntie still busy?"
“Yes, the law firm moved to Shanghai this year, and the workload has doubled. We’re often busy until midnight.” Xiang Yun gently closed the door.
"Then let's buy some tonics for Aunt and Uncle. We can't be with them often, so we need to be careful about these things," Xu Songning said.

The two got home at 10:30 p.m., took a shower, and crawled into bed.

Xu Songning slept soundly. When the alarm clock woke him up, he was reluctant to get out of bed. It was another workday, and anyone would want to stay in bed for a while.
Xiang Yun let her lie there for ten minutes, then pulled her out of bed.
After Xu Songning changed her clothes and washed up, breakfast was ready, and the gifts she wanted to bring to her colleagues were packed and placed on the shoe cabinet by the door.
Xu Songning hugged Xiang Yun reluctantly, "Brother Yun, I'm going to work now. Remember to cook me something delicious."

The psychologist nodded and typed on the computer, "I can issue you the report now. Director Liu has been urging me for a long time, telling me to come to work early today and put his capable assistant back in her post."
"He's in such a hurry? I'm actually starting to not want to go to work," Xu Songning joked.
The psychologist smiled and shook his head. "It's the summer travel season, everyone's incredibly busy at this time of year. If you have any further questions, feel free to come back to me."
