Chapter 1007 The First Treasure Spot

This small town is a world-class ski resort and a mountaineering and hiking destination with mature routes. Millions of ski enthusiasts come here every year. However, Yang Jing and his friends came at a wrong time. It was not snowy in the Alps at the end of October, so the ski resort here was far less good than the ski resort in winter.

However, Yang Jing and his friends can take a gear train directly to the Gornergrat viewing platform at an altitude of 3,090 to admire the permafrost glaciers of the Alps.

Such gear trains are very common in the Alps and are a major feature of Switzerland. On Jungfrau, another famous Swiss peak more than 50 kilometers away from Zermatt, there is also such a gear train, which can take tourists to the glacier viewing platform at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters to enjoy the magnificent glaciers around.

Yang Jing and his group stayed in Zermatt at night. Early the next morning, they boarded the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz.

The exterior of the Glacier Express is red and white, and the locomotive is all red. White English letters are sprayed on the side of the locomotive. The two large letters on the top are "Glacier Express", which means "Glacier Express". Then below these two large letters is a row of smaller letters "St.MoritzDavos—Zermatt", which means "St. MoritzDavos—Zermatt".

Because it is a sightseeing train, the windows in the carriages are very large and the seats are very comfortable.

Yang Jing and his group took a train that departed at 6 a.m., and arrived in St. Moritz at a little after 1 p.m. However, the scenery along the way was really nice. Whether it was Brig or Andermatt, it opened Yang Jing's eyes. And after Andermatt, the Rhine Grand Canyon made everyone want to get off the train to explore it.

The Rhine Canyon, also known as the Swiss Grand Canyon, was formed ten million years ago when a strange white rock with a volume of about 10 billion cubic meters fell here. Since then, the Rhine River has slowly and circuitously passed through the rocks, forming the largest river in Western Europe.

Not far from the Rhine Gorge is Chur, the capital of the Swiss canton of Graudenburg. The train continues from Chur and after arriving at Filisur, the railway line splits into two, going directly to Davos in the north and St. Moritz in the south.

This small town located in the southeast of Switzerland, in the upper reaches of the Inn Valley, is one of the most fascinating holiday destinations in the world.

The long history and cultural accumulation make this city exude a luxurious and low-key charm. The pioneering spirit of St. Moritz people makes this place continue to stage legends. One hundred and fifty years ago, winter tourism was born here. Switzerland's first electric light, the first light rail tram, the first telephone in Graubünden, the first alpine golf tournament, the first Alpine energy-saving hotel, etc. all originated in St. Moritz. Masters such as Nietzsche and Segantini have had an indissoluble bond with this city, making the city's cultural and artistic imprint particularly distinct.

St. Moritz also hosts various top events and activities throughout the year, adding another attraction to the natural scenery. Switzerland hosted the Winter Olympics twice, in 1928 and 1948, both times in St. Moritz.

In 1907, the city held its first exciting winter horse race on the frozen lake, which later evolved into the annual St. Moritz Ice Lake Horse Race. The world's most famous and top snow polo event, the St. Moritz Snow Polo World Cup, is also held here in January and February every year. The small city has also hosted five Alpine Skiing World Championships.

In addition, various special events such as the British Classic Car Awards, Engadin Music Festival, and St. Moritz Food Festival also add to the style and charm of this typical Swiss town.

Compared to Zermatt's somewhat monotonous skiing and hiking, St. Moritz is undoubtedly more prosperous and lively. However, Yang Jing and his friends all faced the same problem, that is, they came at an inappropriate time. The best time for this famous ice and snow city is in January and February every year, and Yang Jing and his friends came a little early.

But the scenery here is still very beautiful. Yang Jing and his group toured this small town for two days before taking the train directly north again, preparing to rest in Zernez for two days.

However, the day after they arrived at Zernez, Yang Jing suddenly discovered from the map that one of the sixteen locations of the ** treasure that he had obtained from the information left by Martin Baumann was in a small place at the border of Switzerland, Austria and Italy not far from Zernez...

This accidental discovery made Yang Jing and his group excited. The secretarial team didn't know about the ** treasure, but Morris and his team knew it very well.

That is a ** treasure, and it is right next to us. Wouldn't it be a bit unreasonable if we don't stop by to take a look?
