Chapter 235 Bitcoin Transactions

Jerkes didn't let Yang Jing wait any longer. As soon as Yang Jing finished his breakfast, the young man came running in from outside in a hurry.

Seeing Yang Jing eating, he smiled at Yang Jing and went straight to the kitchen. After a while, he walked out quickly and sat in front of Yang Jing.

"Hey, hello, I'm Jerkes, Thomas Jerkes. What can I do for you?"

"Oh, hello, I'm Albert Young, and I came all the way from San Francisco to see you."

"San Francisco? The San Francisco in California?" Hearing Yang Jing say this, Jelks was a little bit unbelievable. "Oh my God, what on earth do you want to talk to me about? Is it worth it for you to run all the way from San Francisco, 2,400 miles away, to Jacksonville?"

Yang Jing shrugged and said, "It is true. I arrived in Jacksonville at 11 o'clock last night, and now I am sitting in front of you. Of course, within an hour and a half before I met you, I had already searched for three other Papa John's Pizza restaurants."

Jelks slapped his forehead.

Yang Jing smiled and asked, "Well, I wonder if you have time now. I want to find a quiet place to discuss something with you. Well, something that can probably make you $100,000."

"One hundred thousand dollars?" Jerks' eyes immediately showed a hint of vigilance.

"Haha, don't worry, it's not illegal. I just want to buy some things from you. But this is obviously not the place to negotiate, right? I think if you can ask for leave from your boss, our conversation will be more pleasant."

Jelks pondered for a moment, raised his head and said, "OK, I am interested in your proposal. Then Mr. Yang, you can wait for me for a moment."

"Albert, just call me Albert."

Jerkes nodded slightly, stood up and walked towards the kitchen again. Yang Jing waited for about three minutes, and Jerkes, who had changed his clothes, came out of the kitchen and said to Yang Jing with a smile: "Let's go, I know there is a pretty good coffee shop nearby. Although it's a bit strange to drink coffee so early in the morning, I believe you will like the environment there."

When Jerkes led Yang Jing to a coffee shop called "Anna's Coffee House" two streets away, this not-so-big coffee shop was not open yet, but Jerkes took out the key from his pocket, skillfully opened a side door next to the main door, gestured to Yang Jing, and walked in.

"This is my sister's shop. I usually help out here when I have nothing to do." Jerks explained as he started to work. "Albert, what would you like to drink? Latte? Ole? Mocha? Or black coffee?"

Yang Jing smiled and said, "Give me a latte, thank you."

Jerkes took out the coffee beans and started grinding them skillfully. It was obvious that he was really good at brewing coffee.

After a while, Jerkes came over with two cups of coffee, placed one in front of Yang Jing and the other in front of himself.

"Okay, Albert, now we can talk about what's going on between us."

Yang Jing picked up the coffee cup and took a sip. He smiled and gave Jerkes a thumbs up. After putting down the cup, he said seriously, "Jerkes..."

"Call me Thomas. That's what my friends call me."

"Okay, Thomas, actually I came to you this time to buy the Bitcoins you have. Well, a few days ago when I was browsing the web, I saw the transaction between you and Mr. Hanyec last year. Coincidentally, I am quite interested in Bitcoin now, so I came here from San Francisco with the purpose of buying the Bitcoins you have. But I am not sure whether you still have the 10,000 Bitcoins that Mr. Hanyec traded to you."

"You want to buy my Bitcoin? Oh my god, just for those Bitcoins, you ran all the way from San Francisco to Jacksonville? Jesus Christ, is that enough for your plane ticket?" Jelks said in surprise.

Yang Jing shrugged and said, "It can't be helped. Who made me suddenly fall in love with this kind of virtual currency? But I don't know where to buy these cute little guys, so I came to you."

"Well, Albert, I have to say that what you did was right. Yes, I still have the 10,000 bitcoins that Mr. Hanyecz traded to me last year, and I have bought some more bitcoins on the forum over the past year. It's a pity that I didn't sell those bitcoins in June this year, otherwise I would have assets close to half a million. Now that the price has dropped to this level, I can only wait a little longer. I think that since the price of Bitcoin can rise to more than 30 US dollars this year, maybe it can reach this price next year."

Yang Jing asked: "So are you willing to sell the bitcoins you have?"

"Of course, why not sell it? This thing is originally a virtual currency. If I can exchange it for the real Franklin, I think I won't refuse this opportunity. But Albert, what price do you plan to use to buy these bitcoins in my hand? Oh, I forgot to tell you that I have about 14,000 bitcoins in my hand now."

The number that Jerks said really surprised Yang Jing. But isn't this better?

Yang Jing thought about it, then took out the black safe he was carrying and placed it on the table, then opened the safe in front of Jerkes. The next moment, piles of green Franklins appeared in front of Jerkes.
