The name alone is enough to show the preciousness and importance of this jade seal.
Unfortunately, the imperial seal disappeared after Li Congke, the last emperor of the Later Tang Dynasty, burned himself to death. No matter how the emperors of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties mobilized their servants to look for the seal, unfortunately they never found it.
The Ming Dynasty is known as the most authentic Ming Dynasty in Chinese history. Its founding emperor Zhu Yuanzhang had three regrets in his life. The first one was that he never found the imperial seal. This shows how high the status of the imperial seal is in the eyes of the descendants of Yan and Huang!
Of course, there are countless rumors about the Heirloom Seal, but they are all false. But it is true that the real Heirloom Seal has never appeared since Li Congke!
When Yang Jing obtained the treasure of the last Tsar from Siberia, he discovered this strange half-broken Lu Ban box, but he did not think of it as the imperial seal at that time. After all, there were too many treasures handed down by the ancestors of the Chinese people, and there were even more treasures floating overseas, all of which were snatched away by that group of robbers.
Back then, Russia was a member of the Eight-Nation Alliance. The polar bears caused a lot of trouble in Beijing and also stole many treasures from China.
So when Yang Jing discovered this strange half-broken Lu Ban box, he really didn't think of it as the imperial seal.
Even when he saw the other half of the Lu Ban Box at Mellon Manor today, Yang Jing thought it was just a complete set of Lu Ban Boxes. At first, even though he discovered that there was something hidden in the box, he did not consider it as the imperial seal.
It was not until Harper Lawrence made a malicious bid that Yang Jing used his perspective skills to observe the silk again and vaguely saw the word "受". He suddenly remembered the imperial seal.
Sure enough, the 100 million yuan spent was not wasted, and this picture is indeed a picture with clues about the Heirloom Seal.
The silk was not very big, about the same size as a sheet of 16-page paper. At the top of the silk was written the eight characters of running script: "受命于既寿永昌".
Then under these eight words, there is an arrow pointing directly to a place in the picture called "Yuecheng Temple". Obviously, this Yuecheng Temple should be the lair of the Taoist named Yuechengzi.
If it weren't for the three words "Yuecheng Temple", Yang Jing would not be able to be sure that this Yuechengzi was a Taoist priest, but now it seems that this Yuechengzi is very likely to be a Taoist priest.
The Tang Dynasty respected Taoism as the state religion. The Later Tang Dynasty was established under the name of the successor of the Tang Dynasty, so naturally it also respected Taoism. Moreover, historical rumors also show that the last emperor of the Later Tang Dynasty, Li Congke, was a strong believer in Taoism.
I just don’t know what the relationship is between Yuechengzi and Li Congke, the last emperor of the Later Tang Dynasty.
Apart from the eight characters, Yuecheng Temple and Yuecheng Temple, the rest of the painting is just a landscape.
Although this picture is painted on silk, it is extremely delicate and it can be seen that Yue Chengzi's painting skills are extremely superb.
There is a group of mountains at the bottom of the painting. These mountains are very strange. Yang Jing counted them carefully and found that there are sixteen mountains in total. And judging from the location of these mountains, they are obviously not far from the Yuecheng Temple.
The Yuecheng Temple is located at the foot of the mountain on the north side. It is a Taoist temple that does not look very big. In front of the temple is a surging river that runs through the mountains and disappears into the distance.
This painting is very simple, just a few words, a mountain, a Taoist temple and a river, nothing else. Although there are many trees on the mountain in the painting, they are probably of little use.
The most important thing is this Taoist temple!
Yang Jing even wondered if the lost imperial seal was hidden in this Taoist temple. After all, it was well known that Li Congke, the last emperor of the Later Tang Dynasty, threw himself into the fire with the imperial seal in his arms. However, fire could kill people, but it could not burn the imperial seal.
It is very likely that the seal of the state was found by someone after the fire was put out, and then hidden away. And the person who found the seal of the state is most likely this Yue Chengzi.
Otherwise, why did Yue Chengzi go to so much trouble to make this Lu Ban box? Why did he hide such a ball of silk in the Lu Ban box? Why did he write these eight characters "Receive the mandate from, may you live forever" on the silk?
I'm not sure about other things, but I can be absolutely sure that Yue Chengzi should have had direct contact with the Heirloom Seal!
I just don't know where the Yuecheng Temple in the picture is.
ps: I would like to thank "鱼儿62" for the reward of 100.
