Chapter 81: Shu Edition

The most important thing is that the person who printed these five pages, or the person who was in charge of the printing at that time, was actually Jingdu.

Jing Du, whose courtesy name was Xianmeng, was often called Jing Xianmeng by later generations. During the Shaoxing period of the Southern Song Dynasty, when Song Gaozong Zhao Gou was emperor, he served as the SC Transport Envoy.

The SC Transport Commissioner is an official position that appeared in the Tang Dynasty of China. It is a central or local official position in charge of transportation. However, after the Northern Song Dynasty, the power of the SC Transport Commissioner increased greatly, and in fact, it has become the highest administrative chief of a route. For example, the SC Transport Commissioner held by Jing Xianmeng is equivalent to a high-ranking SC official in modern times.

Yang Jing had no idea what achievements Jing Xianmeng made for the country and the people in his position as the Transport Commissioner, but he made a huge contribution to the culture of our country in this position.

After the Jingkang Incident in the Northern Song Dynasty, the Central Plains fell and the Seven Histories were hard to find. In the 14th year of Shaoxing, that is, in 1144, Jing Xianmeng collected and supplemented the Seven Histories in Meishan, SC, and presided over the engraving and printing of the seven historical books: Song Shu, Qi Shu, Liang Shu, Chen Shu, Wei Shu, Northern Qi Shu, and Northern Zhou Shu, which are the world-famous Shu-engraved large-character Meishan Seven Histories.

Later, under his advocacy, the Meishan area also engraved and printed classics and historical works such as "The Book of Zhou", "The Spring and Autumn Annals", "The Book of Rites", "Mencius", "Records of the Grand Historian" and "The Records of the Three Kingdoms", making great contributions to the cultural heritage of our country.

And these five pages of "Huajian Ji" were actually printed under the supervision of Jing Xianmeng. If they can be traced back to the past, their value will be absolutely invaluable!

This book must be obtained!

PS: I would like to thank "Zi Yan Tian Jiao" for the reward of 100.
