The bend of the reservoir that Old Ivan mentioned refers to the first big bend of the Bukhtamar Reservoir in front. The Bukhtamar Reservoir is so large that its length alone is 330 kilometers. Because this section of the reservoir was formed with the help of the Irtysh River, the direction of the reservoir will turn from the current northwest-southeast direction to a big bend of more than 100 degrees, and then the direction of the reservoir will become northeast-southwest.
The location of Bolshaya Narymskoye is about 80 kilometers away from the Bukhtamar Hydropower Station, which means that by going upstream to the city, you have basically traveled a quarter of the way to the entire reservoir.
This wide area of water happens to be located at the confluence of the Irtysh River and the Berezovka River, so after the formation of the reservoir, the width of this area of water becomes exceptionally wide. As far as the entire Bukhtamar Reservoir is concerned, the width of this area of water is second only to that of Lake Zaysan.
The length of this water area is more than 30 kilometers. After passing through this water area, you will enter the relatively narrow reservoir water area again, and there will be more mountains on both sides.
More than an hour later, when the Siberian Endeavour passed through the wide waters and was about to enter the relatively narrow waters, Yang Jing inadvertently took a look with his Sky Eye skill and suddenly felt something was wrong.
When entering the narrow waters from the wide waters, there are two mountains with an altitude of more than 800 meters on each side of the reservoir, guarding this place like two door gods. The reservoir suddenly narrows from 7 or 8 kilometers wide to only 1.5 kilometers wide between these two mountains, as if this is a throat area.
This is actually the remnant of the Altai Mountains. The peaks generally have an altitude of more than 600 meters, and these two mountains are 200 to 300 meters higher than other peaks, so they are extremely eye-catching.
And under the big mountain on the west bank, Yang Jing saw a faint red light coming from the bottom of the water.
In fact, Yang Jing didn't realize that there would be treasures here. At first, he thought he was seeing things, but when he used his Sky Eye skill to observe carefully again, he confirmed that there was indeed a faint light of treasure emerging from the bottom of the mountain on the west bank!
