The Brazilian city on the other side of Oriental City is Foz do Iguaçu, which can be reached via the Friendship Bridge.
Foz do Iguaçu has a population of 250,000. If it were in Paraguay, it would be a big city. But Brazil is not comparable to a small country like Paraguay, so Foz do Iguaçu is just a small border town in Brazil.
If it weren't for the Iguazu Falls to the south of the city and the Itaipu Dam to the north, probably no one would know the name of this city.
But it is precisely because of these two scenic spots that Foz do Iguaçu has become a famous tourist destination in Brazil.
