The joy of returning home did not last long in the Li and Yang families. After all, Yang Jing had either been studying in college or in the UK. Even after graduating and returning to China, he was still wandering around. Therefore, both the grandparents and Yang's parents had already gotten used to it.
We had a reunion dinner at grandma's house at noon, which was a welcome dinner for Yang Jing.
In the afternoon, Yang Jing did not accompany his grandparents, but went to a teahouse with his uncle. The two discussed what they would do after buying the National Cotton Mill.
Ever since my uncle wanted to buy the state-owned cotton mill and run it himself a few years ago, he has been busy with this matter in the past few months.
However, this is a large state-owned enterprise after all. Although it is on the verge of bankruptcy, a lean camel is bigger than a horse. If you want to buy this factory and run it yourself, there are still a lot of things to do.
However, my uncle is a very resilient and persistent person. Once he has decided to do something, he will put all his energy into doing it.
After several months of hard work, this matter has made great progress. At least after consulting many of my uncle's old classmates, they all agree that he wants to buy the National Cotton Mill and run the business himself. In particular, several of his old classmates who had been working as security guards at the National Cotton Mill were very supportive of my uncle running the factory himself.
So my uncle became more concerned about this matter.
However, if we want to finalize this matter, these few months are far from enough. My uncle must formulate a very rigorous plan before he can really start the purchase of the national cotton mill.
This time, the father and son got together to drink tea and chat, mainly for the uncle to tell Yang Jing about some of the results he had achieved in this matter recently.
Yang Jing naturally supported his uncle 100%. As long as his uncle was willing to do this, he, as his nephew, would make sure that his uncle could accomplish this. Even if he had to spend a lot of money, he would make this happen.
Compared to my uncle's courage, my second cousin Yang Nan, who is far away in Min Province, is far behind.
Yang Jing had mentioned the matter to Yang Nan during the Chinese New Year, but Yang Nan declined after considering it for a long time, which made Yang Jing somewhat disappointed. However, everyone has their own aspirations, and perhaps the second brother just doesn't want to change his career.
However, Yang Jing was really a little helpless about his second brother's choice. Before he took over the Dragon Fund, he really couldn't help his second brother. However, once the Dragon Fund was completely taken over, it would be easy to help his second brother, but this matter would take some time.
As for the eldest brother Yang Tao, things are going very smoothly. Now eldest brother Yang Tao has become the chief secretary of Secretary Yang, and Secretary Yang is very satisfied with him.
That’s enough. Everyone has their own choices. You have to walk your own path. Some things cannot be forced.
When Yang Jing and his uncle came out of the teahouse, he unexpectedly ran into two good friends from high school. Yang Jing's appearance hadn't changed much in the past few years, but the two good friends had changed a lot, and their bodies had at least become thicker.
These two good friends were Yang Jing's classmates in high school, one was Wang Zhe and the other was Liu Cheng. When Wang Zhe was in junior high school and high school, he lived on the same floor with Yang Jing. They were in the same school in junior high school and in the same class in high school, so Yang Jing almost walked to and from school with Wang Zhe every day during the three years of junior high school and high school.
Wang Zhe's father, like Yang's father, was an employee of the 13th Bureau of Water Conservancy and Hydropower. However, later the headquarters of the 13th Bureau moved to Tianjin. As the director of the bureau's office, Wang's father naturally had to move to Tianjin, so Wang Zhe's family moved to Tianjin.
As for Liu Cheng, he is the sports commissioner of the class. He is a very generous person and has a good relationship with others in the class. After the students were divided into arts and science majors in the second year of high school, Liu Cheng, like Wang Zhe and Yang Jing, chose science majors, so the three of them continued to stay in the same class after the division.
However, Liu Cheng became Yang Jing's deskmate after his sophomore year in high school until he graduated from university.
It can be said that the two of them were Yang Jing’s best classmates in high school and also his closest buddies.
But after graduating from high school, Wang Zhe went to Shudu to study at university, while Liu Cheng went to Quancheng to study at university, and Yang Jing went to Jinling. The three best friends at the time immediately went their separate ways. Only during the Chinese New Year or summer vacation would the three brothers and a few other classmates who had a good relationship with them get together.
But after graduating from university, Yang Jing went to London and stayed there for two years. After returning to China, he kept traveling around, so he hadn't been in contact with Liu Cheng and Wang Zhe for more than three years.
The three of them were naturally extremely happy when they suddenly met each other this time.
"Hey Yangzi, what's wrong with you? It's ok that you can't come back from studying in the UK, but why didn't you contact us after you came back? Could it be that you forgot about us?"
"Yeah, I wanted to contact you before the New Year, but when I called your cell phone, it said it was an unavailable number. We thought you were kidnapped to Somalia to become a pirate!"
As soon as they met, Yang Jing's chest and shoulders were naturally hit. Wang Zhe hit his chest and Liu Cheng hit his shoulders. After the beating, Yang Jing felt as if his shoulders and chest were not his own. These two guys were just seeking revenge.
"Oh, brothers, I'm really sorry. My old mobile number was deactivated when I went to study in the UK, and I got a new number after returning home, but your numbers were saved on my old phone. My mother threw the old phone away somewhere, and when I wanted to find your numbers, I couldn't find any of them, so I couldn't contact you. I was wrong about this, how about I treat you guys to a get-together later?"
