Chapter 1007 The First Treasure Spot

Yang Jing owns two top-notch properties in Switzerland, one in Geneva in the west and one in Zernez in the east.

This top property in Geneva is located in the small town of Collogne, east of Geneva. It is home to some of the top luxury homes in Geneva. It is backed by mountains and faces water. You can see the beautiful Lake Geneva as soon as you walk out of the gate of the villa.

If this luxury house in Geneva is a place to experience the charm of the city of Geneva and the hustle and bustle of this so-called international capital of peace, then the single-family villa located in Zernez is purely a villa for leisure and vacation to experience the scenery of paradise.

If Geneva is the universally recognized capital of peace and is also known as the most livable city in Europe, and almost everyone in the world has heard of this city, then Zernez is an unknown small town, and even many people in Switzerland may not know about this place.

Zernez is located in a small valley where the Inn and Spree rivers meet, deep in the Alps and surrounded by mountains on three sides.

The town has only about 2,000 people, and it is very small, but it is a small town that European travelers yearn for very much, because here you can feel the atmosphere of a real paradise.

When Tom Nitz bought a property for Yang Jing, he also listened to the introduction of a Swiss tycoon, and bought a single-family villa in this small town. He also lived here for a while. This time, when he heard that the boss and the boss's wife were going to Europe for their honeymoon, he strongly suggested that the boss and the boss's wife stay in this small town for a while, and Yang Jing and Gege also accepted this kind suggestion.

Originally, to get from Venice to Geneva, Switzerland, Yang Jing and his team could take the Italy-Switzerland train line, starting from Venice, passing through Vicenza, Verona, Brescia, Bergamo, then turning northeast through the east shore of Lake Como, along the Adda Valley through Tirano, a major town between Switzerland and Italy, into Switzerland, and finally take the Glacier Express from St. Moritz in southeastern Switzerland directly to Geneva. However, due to the construction of a railway tunnel on the east shore of Lake Como, this route was rejected.

Since it is impossible to go from east to west, just go from west to east. Everyone knows that if you want to enjoy the best scenery of the Alps, taking the Glacier Express is the best choice, but it doesn't matter which way you go.

The Glacier Express does not start from Geneva, but from Zermatt, a ski resort in southwestern Switzerland, and ends at St. Moritz, another ski resort in southeastern Switzerland.

This railway is more than 300 kilometers long, crossing the steep cliffs of the Alps, clear alpine lakes and magnificent picturesque countryside, passing through 91 tunnels and 291 bridges. The train takes seven and a half hours to travel, with an average speed of only about 30 kilometers per hour, making it the slowest "express train" in the world.

However, it is precisely because of the "slowness" of the Glacier Express that tourists can sit in the spacious and comfortable panoramic carriage and enjoy the forests, green spaces, mountain springs, glaciers and snow-capped mountains along the way, making this route one of the most famous sightseeing routes in Europe and even the world.

Yang Jing and his team arrived at Geneva's Cornavin train station at around 4:00 in the morning. This train station is the fourth largest in Europe. They will take the interprovincial train to the Rhône-Alpes region at 4:50 in the morning, along the north shore of Lake Geneva, passing through Nyon, Lausanne, Montreux, Martigny, Sion, and Phipps, and then change to a cogwheel train in Phipps to reach Zermatt. The whole journey will take about four hours.

After arriving in Zermatt, Yang Jing and his companions did not rush to take the Glacier Express, but instead toured the small town.

If it weren't for the Matterhorn, this small village, originally surrounded by the Alps, would probably not be well known to the world. But who makes the Matterhorn, known as the "symbol of the Alps" and the "king of European mountains", less than ten kilometers away from this small village?

Although the Matterhorn, located on the border between Switzerland and Italy, is not the highest mountain in the Alps, it is the most famous mountain in the entire Alps and even in Europe.

Although Mont Blanc is the highest peak in the Alps and Europe, in terms of fame in Europe, it is not even as famous as the Eiger and Jungfrau, let alone the Matterhorn.

The Matterhorn is the most beautiful mountain in the entire Alps and a symbol of pride for Switzerland. It stands tall and points to the sky. Its unique triangular cone shape, in particular, makes it the representative of the Alps. Whenever the sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening, the mountain covered with snow all year round reflects golden light.

Matterhorn is the most difficult mountain to climb in Europe and the last mountain in the Alps to be successfully climbed. It is precisely because of the great challenge of this mountain that it attracts many mountaineering enthusiasts to conquer it. As more and more mountaineering enthusiasts come here, they discover that Zermatt, located at the foot of the mountain, is such a beautiful place.

Not only is this place beautiful, but it is also surrounded by many snow-capped mountains. In addition, Europeans not only like mountaineering, but also skiing. So, Zermatt, the original small mountain village, has developed rapidly.

Today, Zermatt is recognized worldwide as one of the top ski resorts.

This is the world's top mountain sanctuary without car pollution. That's right, in this small town known as the "Glacier City", you can't see a single fuel car, all cars are powered by batteries. Therefore, this is almost the cleanest town in Europe.
