Chapter 25 A Self-Recommended Servant

Xiao Yuanyuan was hit so hard that she rolled around several times in agony. She was in so much pain that she almost burst into tears.

What to do? The hero has to kill it. Can it really not survive ten chapters? Xiao Xu trembled, his eyes closed, vulnerable to a single blow.

"What are you doing."

"Chirp?"

Ana Shen frowned. How could this little fat bird be so cowardly? It was just a snake, and now it had been killed by him. Could it be that it had been bitten by a snake?

He stepped forward, took out a plain white handkerchief from his pocket, bent down, picked up the little fat bird that had rolled into the grass, shook off the weeds on its body, and examined it. In addition to the wound on its wing, one of its claws was broken.

"Chirp?" Xiao Xu was in so much pain that he was confused. During this short period of time when his mind was in a mess, he didn't know whether he was really killed by Shen Yanjin or not. He could only call out unconsciously.

It is impossible for him to wake up in a short time, so I will take him to Chenwang first.

I don't know what caused the sudden strange feeling in my heart. When Shen Yanjin passed by the killed snake, he swung his sword and cut the black snake into several pieces before slowly leaving the yard.

He arrived at the servants' quarters where Chen Wang lived without any obstruction. He stopped at the door and did not enter. Several servants were almost stunned by the sight of him. When had they ever seen such a handsome young man? If he came a few years later, wouldn't he be the most beautiful man in the country?

A servant saw the nobleman standing there motionless without any subordinates around him, and thought that something had happened to him. He hesitated for a while, gritted his teeth, and strode up to the nobleman.

He bowed to the noble, then said nervously: "No... I don't know why the noble is here?" He couldn't be here to look for me. With such a beautiful woman, why would she come to the servants' room to look for me? How could the noble be so open-hearted?

Unexpectedly, that person ignored his consciousness. The servant cursed secretly. It seemed that his plan would fail. He could only sigh and was about to turn around and leave. However, when the servant saw the thing in the noble man's hand, his eyes suddenly lit up.

This nobleman came to look for his subordinate, but unfortunately his subordinate was not there, so he was wasting time here. The reason he came to look for his subordinate was because of the bird in his hand.

The servant cautiously probed, "Are you here because of the bird in your hand?" He had to worry that the master might have a bad temper. It took him a lot of courage to ask this question. If the noble he was asking had a bad temper, he would be beaten to death with sticks.

Shen Yanjin glanced at the servant with his calm eyes, staring at him until he broke out in a cold sweat and was almost panicking.

Is he really going to be beaten to death today?

After a while, the nobleman spoke in a cold tone:

"yes."

Even just one word made the servant relax, and he continued to say in a flattering manner: "Don't worry, my lord. Is the bird injured? If it's not serious, I can treat it." He used to be a servant in a wealthy family and had come into contact with some of the masters' pets. If they had bumps and bruises on weekdays, he was the one who treated them. Therefore, he had some confidence in birds.

Shen Yanjin raised his eyebrows, and only then did he really look at the servant, and said in a cold tone: "Do you know what will happen if the treatment is not successful?"

"I know." At least I should give it a try. It's much better than staying here for the rest of my life.

Just as he finished answering, the nobleman's sleeve moved slightly. He subconsciously stretched out his hand, and a soft, fat little bird appeared in his palm. He thought it was extremely cute at first sight.
