Heart Fire Extinguisher

Heart Fire Extinguisher

Cullinan drove fifty meters before turning on the headlights.

"Are we going to Mr. Cheng's doctor?" asked Old Chen.

"Of course not," Zheng Cheng said coldly, "If the master knew about this, he would be so annoyed."

"Then leave it to me." Lao Chen changed gears and accelerated. The street lights outside the window turned into thin lines and floated behind him like a shower of light.

"Didn't I tell you to wait at home?" Hu Hanyu looked at the people around him.

"If I wait at home, the next time I see you will be in the funeral home, right?!" Zheng Cheng's roar was amplified countless times in the car.

"Not really." His voice was too loud. Hu Hanyu shrank his shoulders, and the wound on his shoulder moved, and he shuddered, "Hiss..."

"How could it not be so? How could it not be so?! Does it hurt you like this?" Zheng Cheng saw that he was in pain, frowned, and wanted to help him.

"Don't touch me first, there's glass." Hanyu dodged backwards.

"Mr. Cheng, don't worry. Young Master Hu's injuries aren't serious. If he hadn't fought back, they would have been even less serious." Old Chen interrupted, sighing, "Young Master Gu must have someone backing him up, otherwise he wouldn't have dared to act so recklessly."

"This is crazy! Who in Shanghai would do this?" Zheng Cheng shook his head. "Where did we find this idiot advisor?"

"He even chose the evening when most of the office staff had left and no one could hear him, so he snuck up on me," Hu Hanyu said. "That's pretty vicious. I'm sure he's going to jail this time."

"Why do you care? Where did he hit you? Did your hand get hurt? Did you get any glass stuck in your clothes? Why is there blood on your face? Your clothes are torn..." Zheng Cheng looked at him for a long time, his voice hoarse. "You really didn't fight back?"

"Well, don't fight back," Hu Hanyu smiled, "I'm fine."

"You have to listen to everything I say. You have to fight back even if you get beaten like this. What else can I say? There's blood on my teeth..." Zheng Cheng gently touched his head, bit his lip and stopped talking.

"I know my limits. If I really can't bear it, I will fight back." Hanyu explained in a low voice, grabbing his hand and holding it in his palm.

The shoulder and face were fine, but the injury on the arm was a bit troublesome because there was broken glass stuck inside. The doctor searched one by one with a light on, and it took a long time. Zheng Cheng sent Lao Chen in to check twice.

"Is it clean?" When Lao Chen came in for the third time, he saw that the doctor was finally wrapping the bandage.

"It should be gone. What kind of person is so treacherous?" The doctor tossed his disposable gloves into the trash can. "Remember to take your anti-inflammatory medicine. You need to take care of that rib. If you still feel any pain, come see me anytime."

"Okay, Uncle Chen, thank you for today." Hanyu stretched his arms and thanked Uncle Chen.

"Don't worry about it, it's just a piece of cake." Old Chen smiled naively.

His lean figure and neat shirt didn't seem to have anything to do with his previous skills.

"Does being a driver for the Zheng family require this kind of skills?" Hanyu asked.

"You're kidding. I used to be Mr. Cheng's bodyguard. I stayed at the Zheng Mansion thanks to his kindness." Old Chen looked at Hu Hanyu. "Young Master Hu may not remember. We met in Japan many years ago."

"Really? In St. Mary?" Hanyu was surprised.

"It's in the hospital." said Lao Chen.

Hu Hanyu suddenly remembered something and smiled awkwardly. He turned to look at the anatomy diagram on the wall and said, "Uncle Chen, you must be mistaken. Medical treatment in Japan is expensive. I've never been to a hospital."

"In our line of work, it's impossible to mistake someone. Mr. Hu, you went to the hospital, not to get treated." Old Chen smiled. "I'm sorry I didn't let you in to visit Young Master Cheng back then."

"...The person who stopped me was you?" Hu Hanyu was shocked. The person he remembered was tall and straight, with a resolute expression, completely different from the little old man in front of him.

Come to think of it, he has grown taller over the years, and it has become a habit for Old Chen to deliberately hunch his back.

"Yes." There was a hint of kindness in Old Chen's smile. "It was just a chance encounter, but you made a special trip. At that time, I thought, it would be great if Mr. Cheng had a friend like you."

"He was delirious at the time and spoke in Chinese. I felt like we were compatriots, so according to Chinese customs, I should go see him." Hanyu scratched his head and shook off two more pieces of glass. "Don't tell Zheng Cheng about it, it's embarrassing."

"Don't worry, Mr. Hu. I never say too much. From now on, Mr. Cheng will have to rely on you to take care of him." said Old Chen.

Zheng Cheng was sitting in the corridor with his legs hugged, biting his nails. When he saw the clinic door open, he immediately jumped up and ran over.

"You are quite agile." Hu Hanyu said with a smile.

"Have you bandaged your injury? Is it really not serious? Don't lie to me. Has the doctor given you the injury report? Does your father know that you are injured? Do we still have to go to the police station?" Zheng Cheng pulled him aside and asked a bunch of questions.

"All of the above." Hu Hanyu said, "Let Lao Chen take you back."

"No! I won't go back. How can I find you if you don't have your cell phone? There's no news at all. I'll explode if I'm alone at home. I won't leave!" Zheng Cheng grabbed Hu Hanyu's intact arm and refused to let go.

"Why are you going to that kind of place? Don't expose yourself." Hanyu said.

"Mr. Cheng, Mr. Lu will need the car again at dawn and will be discovered," Old Chen advised. "Besides, if you show up at the police station, it will be a big deal."

Zheng Cheng didn't say anything, lowered his head and grabbed Hu Hanyu's hand, his eyes red.

"My car is still parked at your house." Hanyu said, "I will definitely come to find you. You can't run away."

There were almost no cars on the remote road in the early morning, but Lao Chen still strictly abided by the speed limit and stretched the road to the Public Security Bureau longer and longer.

"Recite my cell phone number again," Zheng Cheng said.

"Okay, I've got it in mind. I'll text you once I get the backup phone." Hanyu touched his face. "Are you feeling okay?"

"No, I'm fine." Zheng Cheng shook his head. Although his heart was beating very fast, he didn't have that tight solar plexus or suffocating feeling.

"Okay, go back and lie down for a while." Hanyu's palm and thumb gently brushed across Zheng Cheng's face. "You're a hero today, you deserve a good night's sleep."

"Ah? Me?" Zheng Cheng's eyelashes flashed.

"Yes." Hanyu smiled, "When I get back I'll tell Mohawk that I'm the princess."

"You're crazy." Zheng Cheng couldn't help but curse with a smile.

Thanks to Hanyu's good wishes, Zheng Cheng fell asleep on the sofa after returning home. A few hours later, he was woken up by an unfamiliar number on his mobile phone.

"You scared me into having a heart attack. Can you please send me a message?" Zheng Cheng yelled at the person on the other end of the phone.

"I've sent several messages, but you didn't hear them." Hanyu's voice echoed, "How do you ring your doorbell?"

It was already dawn outside. Zheng Cheng stood at the entrance of his house, waiting for someone other than a delivery man for the first time.

Hu Hanyu walked out of the elevator and raised his chin towards him.

"Hey, hero."

"Hey, Princess." Zheng Cheng smiled.

"Can I borrow your bathroom?" the princess asked. "The smoke from Mr. Hat has got so bad in my throat."

Seeing the wounds on his body, Zheng Cheng wanted to wipe them for him, but Hanyu waved his hand and said it was no problem. He went to the kitchen to get some plastic wrap, wrapped it around his arm twice, and then took off his shirt.

"This one is full of glass shards. I'll throw it away. Give me another one later." He winked at Zheng Cheng.

"Could you have said something before taking off your clothes? What a poor manner." Zheng Cheng was startled and turned around to go upstairs. "Why are you still asking for things? Do you really think you're a princess?"

He had actually already decided which one to give him.

"The first drawer in the pajamas and dressing room, the faucet is turned to the right for hot water, the first bottle of shower gel is on the left, and the second bottle of shampoo is on the second. I'm going to lie down." Zheng Cheng stretched, walked straight to the bed, lifted the quilt and nestled in.

Before he came, Zheng Cheng had a lot of things he wanted to care about, such as whether Hanyu's wound still hurt, what the police station said, whether Gu Jiaxin was caught, who was behind it, and whether anything was missing from the store... After seeing Hu Hanyu, Zheng Cheng had only one thought in his mind.

Push him down on the bed and kiss him hard! Bite his Adam's apple hard, and then bite his other shoulder!

Let him hurt people, let him make people worry! Let him hurt people for a whole night!

Zheng Cheng, you turned out to be a pervert. He hid himself under the quilt, laughing at his pounding heart.

But when the door opened again, Zheng Cheng suddenly stopped acting weird.

"100 pajamas, and you pick a corn." Zheng Cheng was a little desperate.

"Isn't this quite humorous? Do you eat corn?" Hanyu stood at attention. "I'm Corn 87."

"Oh my! I'm so cold!" Zheng Cheng covered himself with the quilt.

Zheng Sisi, you are a fire extinguisher of hearts who is more likely to cause trouble than to help.

Although he kept saying that it didn't hurt, Hu Hanyu was still a beat slow to lie down.

"It will be dawn by the time you lie down," Zheng Cheng complained while supporting him with his hands.

"I felt pain in my ribs when I was lying down." Hanyu finally lay on his back and let out a breath.

"Your ribs are injured too? Gu Jiaxin really wants to go to jail!" Zheng Cheng tried to lift his clothes, but was held down by Hanyu.

"It's not very convenient now," he said.

"I just want to see your injuries!" Zheng Cheng shouted, "What are you thinking about, you little corn?"

"I was wondering...how I could sleep sideways facing you."

Hanyu struggled hard and slowly turned to face Zheng Cheng, and briefly told him what had happened just now.

Gu Jiaxin was still shouting while handcuffed, asking others if they knew who he was. When he came out of the interrogation room, he seemed like a different person. He wiped his tears and lowered his head. When he saw Hu Tianren, he said, "I'm sorry, uncle."

This guy is just taking advantage of others' power.

What happens next is investigation, compensation, and detention, depending on whether the Hu family is willing to file a case.

"Your father didn't beat you again, did he?" Zheng Cheng asked.

"Of course not. If we fight again, it will be hard to tell who hit us. This is called destroying evidence." Hu Hanyu successfully turned over and smiled with his eyes closed.

Zheng Cheng touched his face, his bony cheeks, jaw, hair, and facial features. Hanyu seemed to enjoy it and even moved his face closer to his hands.

Zheng Cheng couldn't see clearly what happened just now in the car, but he remembered the look in Hu Hanyu's eyes when he got in the car. It was a look of emptiness and indifference, and it was not until he saw him that his eyes slowly regained their warmth.

"Have you ever been injured more seriously than this in a fight before?" Zheng Cheng asked.

"It's much more serious," Hanyu said. "I can't cut my hair too short now, otherwise it will show scars. Do you want to touch it? There's a spot that looks like alopecia areata."

"No! Are you sick?" Zheng Cheng withdrew his hand.

Zheng Cheng also did not take his body seriously. He was like a bystander, watching himself get hurt without any emotion. In serious cases, he didn't even feel the pain.

Now he is no longer like that. Zheng Cheng cherishes his body very much. It is the only body that is recognized by everyone and gives him a sense of accomplishment.

"You can't let yourself get hurt easily in the future, do you hear me?" Zheng Cheng said.

"Well, no." Hanyu said, "otherwise you would be worried, right?"

Zheng Cheng didn't answer, but touched his neck with his hand. It was cool and still wet.

"Zheng Cheng," Hanyu opened his eyelids and looked at him, "Come closer."

He snuggled into Hu Hanyu's neck. The scent of bamboo leaves mixed with the scent of his own shower gel matched perfectly, yet seemed unreal, like an illusion after waking up from a nightmare in Hainan.

"These days, I feel like I'm dreaming," said Zheng Cheng.

"Yeah." Hanyu replied drowsily, "Was it a good dream?"

"Nonsense." He really wanted to hug Hu Hanyu tightly, but he didn't know if he would hurt him, so he could only hold his waist.

Hanyu smiled and kissed his forehead: "It's not a dream. It's all real, you are, and so am I."

Zheng Cheng tilted his head and gently pressed his lips on his shoulders and Adam's apple.

You made me worry, you made me feel sad, he thought.

"Go to sleep, Hanyu." Zheng Cheng said softly, "This time it's my turn to accompany you."
