Chapter 184 The Annoying Gu Siyan
The meal was thrilling, with hidden undercurrents.
When the dinner ended, Gu's eldest sister-in-law and second sister-in-law were supposed to wash the dishes, but for some reason, they didn't do it. Their gazes drifted towards Jinran, seemingly casually.
Jinran pretended not to know. It was good for her to speak and make jokes in front of her future mother-in-law, but if she did all the chores, it would be too eager and she would be looked down upon.
Gu Siyan sneered, "Now that the old man is back, why isn't he making a good impression? Wasn't he just grabbing things? He's not expecting my mother, who's so old, to take care of him, is he? And my wife is still young and can't do any work, so there's no need to count on her either. In that case, we'll just have to trouble you two sisters-in-law."
The Gu family seemed used to Gu Siyan's outrageous remarks and didn't find anything wrong with them. The two sisters-in-law didn't refute him either, as if they were waiting for Gu Siyan to finish his tirade before getting to work, so that they would feel more at ease.
Jinran felt this was a classic case of being led by the nose but not walking, and being pushed back when hit.

Gu Siyan drove to Jinran's building. He still wanted to linger, but Jinran directly told him to leave, "Go away. I'm going to sleep as soon as I get home. You can only affect how fast I fall asleep; you won't do anything positive."
Gu Siyan whispered seductively, "I'm going to start working out soon, waiting for my twelve-pack abs. I'll make you swoon!"
Jinran felt a stirring of spring in her heart, but the thought of only being able to look but not touch made her feel extremely bored. Isn't this the part that people most want to skip when watching a movie?
Then Jinran refused righteously, "Young man, you have good ambition, but I still can't let you take advantage of me. Goodbye!"
After saying that, Jinran went upstairs without looking back.
Gu Siyan: "........." Does he have to be so heartless?
Jinran went home and had a good sleep, but she was only awakened by a knock on the door. Gu Siyan opened the door.

Gu Siyan shook his head. "No, I'm just saying it to you once."
Jinran: "You tell me, aren't you annoying?"
