Chapter 64 Ginseng, Oh Ginseng
Wang Cuifen was a little confused by everyone's envious looks along the way, wondering, "What's going on? Do they know she had meat for lunch?"

She straightened her back and laughed even louder. But when she saw Jinran, her heart began to ache. This was her little daughter, so beautiful and sensible, supporting her family at such a young age.
"Mom and Dad, you're back! Were you tired from work?"
Father Shen spoke first: "I'm not tired. The three of us can eat together, and I have more energy to work. Look at the meat and vegetables I prepared for you. Chef Zhang's meat-making skills are absolutely superb."
Wang Cuifen was a little unhappy that Shen's father had gotten there first, but all her dissatisfaction disappeared when she opened the door and saw the changes in the room.
Some people who love to join in the fun peered into the house from the doorway, curious to see how a little girl could decorate her room.
But everyone was surprised to find that after tidying it up, the place looked bright and orderly. It even improved everyone's mood.
Father Shen asked incredulously, "Nini, did you do this?"
Jinran nodded proudly, looking like she was about to praise me.
Wang Cuifen exclaimed exaggeratedly, "My goodness, did my daughter put this together? It looks so nice! I'm so lucky to have raised such a wonderful child."
The neighbors chimed in, saying they were truly blessed to have such a daughter.
Holding back tears, Mr. Shen choked out, "My daughter has worked so hard. This house looks so nice. My daughter is really accomplished."
Seeing that her father was about to urinate, Wang Cuifen quickly said to everyone, "Everyone, go home and have dinner. We have to go to work this afternoon. Come and chat with me again tonight."
Upon hearing that it was time to eat, everyone hurriedly went back home, as they still had to cook for their families.
Wang Cuifen closed the door and happily touched this and opened the cabinet door to look at that. She even asked Jinran, "I told you before that I would ask your dad to find a carpenter in our village to make some cabinets and tables and stuff, but then I thought it would be too expensive, so I gave up. Jinran was thinking that when the time came, she would move the cabinets and furniture she had her eye on back home. Since the new house had been built, there would still be some empty space, so she would have to gradually furnish it.

Then the visitors started insulting each other, which ended with Shen's father apologizing.
Jinran walked along. Seeing that it was still early, she thought to herself, "Why not seize the day? I'll go check out the black market today."
