On the way, Gu Siyan kept pestering her, saying that she wanted to wear the same clothes as Jinran in the future, and then she touched her own clothes to express her liking for them again.

Jinran felt it was time to show off her virtuousness.
"Aunt Qu, let me tell you how to make these things. Oh, and there's also Acanthopanax senticosus. I'll make a cold salad for it later. Professor Gu mentioned it to me before, saying he loves it but he hasn't been able to buy it. I told him when I got home, and my grandma got some for me."
With a beaming smile, Gu's mother repeatedly said yes, thinking to herself that Nini was the most sensible and understanding, while the eldest and second daughters-in-law were completely useless.
But the third brother is right. They've been married for so long, why don't the eldest and second brothers have a child yet?
After introducing the various ways to eat wild vegetables, Jinran also explained how to prepare certain foods and which ones to save for later consumption.
Originally, I was going to help with the cooking, but Gu's mother refused. "We have Aunt Liu in our family. She's a good cook and will be here soon. She had something come up today, but she'll be back in a bit. You've just arrived at your in-laws' house, so we can't let you work in the kitchen. That would show respect.
