Chapter 34 Goodbye, Buddy (1)

Chapter 34 Goodbye, Buddy (1)

After getting the gasoline, Lu Weiyi didn't go to any other places. He walked around a few times and decided to go to the east city mentioned by Gu Qingyue to find some gas tanks.

The further east they went, the older the houses became and the more serious the collapse became. The place that Gu Qingyue pointed to was still on the outskirts, so Lu Weiyi had to go around in a big circle. The narrow alley was half blocked and the car couldn't get in. Lu Weiyi parked the car on the side of the road where it would not be in the way and got out.

Several wandering zombies nearby had already followed the noise of the car. When the car door opened, they roared and ran over to grab the hot food first. Lu Weiyi kicked one of them over and stepped out of the car. The machete in his hand turned quickly as if it was attached to his hand, and he fell to the ground in a few seconds.

While using a bit of his consciousness to drive the small green branch on his wrist to search for the nuclear bead, Lu Weiyi walked steadily towards his destination, leaving behind a bunch of twisted zombie corpses, all of which had half of their heads missing.

“Fuck, that guy is so brutal.” On the second floor of a store not far away, a group of tough guys with crew cuts gathered and were eating instant noodles. There was no hot water, and the noodles made with mineral water didn’t taste very good, but they still ate them with gusto.

The man standing at the window was wearing only a black vest and his arms were covered with tattoos. He looked like a gangster, but he was not so scary with his petite body. He sipped his noodles, stared at Lu Weiyi's figure downstairs and said, turning back and shouting: "Boss, look at that kid, his skills are even better than yours."

"What nonsense are you talking about?" A man not far from him came over and slapped him on the head, "The boss can build a wall with soil with just a stretch of his hand, how can anyone be better than the boss?" He glanced downstairs, surprised for a moment, and shouted to others, "This kid is really good, guys, hurry up and call the eldest brother to come and have a look."

Several men gathered together and shouted towards the bedroom at the same time, "Brother, look, look."

"I'm coming." The door of the bedroom next to it opened, and a tall and strong bald man walked out, kicking off his slippers and holding a cigarette. A long scar on half of his face made him look ferocious. He took two slow steps and turned back suddenly when he reached the door, as if he saw something funny, and laughed, which made him look even more creepy with his dark eyes.

Following his sight inside, he saw a dark room with a dirt wall blocking the windows. Lying on the ground next to him was Dean, who had been looking for supplies with Lu Weiyi a few days ago. The difference was that he no longer looked like the little prince that day. His golden hair was a mess, and his face was obviously beaten, with slap marks and black blood all over it. His clothes were wrinkled and covered with dirt. His red and swollen eyes were filled with tears, and he was full of fear and vigilance. He held the unconscious Antonio tightly, his slender white fingers so tightly that the veins were exposed.
