Chapter 869 Punishment

Chapter 869 Punishment

Mu Wan, who was held in Su He's arms, was almost thrown off again and again. Lu Weiyi jumped off the little monkey and said, "Let me push you."

Zhang Qing said embarrassedly, "Let me do it."

Lu Weiyi glanced at him. He didn't like people treating people in wheelchairs like this. Perhaps it was because of Zhuang Mingxu's past experience, which always easily aroused his anger. "You can just tell Qin Jin directly that you don't want to do it. Why bother him like this?"

Zhang Qing's face changed slightly and he looked at Qin Jin nervously, "Wang, I... I was careless."

Qin Jin didn't even look at him and continued walking forward, as if he had no reaction to his hypocrisy.

Lu Weiyi helped Su He put Mu Wan down and pushed him forward.

Su He seemed to be oblivious to everything around him, and didn't even ask them if they were planning to walk straight to Laoshan.

He just held the person in his arms in a daze, his whole body was dead silent.

Such a person needs a motivation to survive, but it's a pity that Lu Weiyi can't discredit him.

They were pushing the wheelchair and it was more like taking a walk than rushing. They encountered some mutant animals on the way, but they were all dealt with by Cheng Qi and the zombies. Lu Weiyi didn't need to worry about anything. He focused all his attention on Su He. His mental power silently covered Su He and the wheelchair. An invisible gas floated away, and soon Su He closed his eyes and fell on the package in his arms.

"I'll go to the front." Lu Weiyi and the others were completely unconscious. After dealing with the gas that was wrapped by their mental power, he said to Qin Jin.

Qin Jin nodded without surprise and watched him lead the little monkey into the depths of the dense forest until they disappeared from his sight.

Li Zhuang had been waiting with Taotao for a long time. With him appeared three huge mutant wolves. The three that drank milk at the beginning have now grown to be almost three meters tall, and they look very domineering at first glance.

"Take them for some exercise." Li Zhuang took Su He's wheelchair and was taken out of the space by Taotao. He turned around and appeared in front of him again, "Let's go."

"Is everything arranged?"

"I've been waiting for a long time." Li Zhuang casually climbed onto Zhuang Wukong beside him.

Lu Weiyi also sat on Xiaobai, and the three of them then left the space.

The little monkeys waiting outside became alert when they saw the three mutant animals appear. Fortunately, the mutant animals are generally smart, and after Lu Weiyi's introduction, the four of them barely stopped being hostile to each other.

Qin Jin did not show any abnormality towards the appearance of Li Zhuang, but was very interested in the three mutant giant wolves. "Where did you get them from?"

"I raised them," Lu Weiyi said proudly, and then he reached out and patted the three cats that kept baring their teeth at Qin Jin for a long time to comfort them, "You two can go one by one."

As he spoke, he looked around and paused for a moment when he saw Zhang Qing. Compared to before, Zhang Qing was obviously much weaker. Although he was an S-level zombie, he gave people a shaky feeling. His pale face looked a little dull and not as flexible as usual.

Li Guang, who usually always quarreled with him, stood beside him this time, holding his hand and standing respectfully not far from Qin Jin. Cheng Qi's obedience had never changed, while Xu Xiao huddled in a corner and trembled as if she had been frightened by something. Yu Li was holding her arm tightly to prevent the other party from running away in fear if he didn't keep a close eye on her.

It seemed that something happened after he left. Lu Weiyi did not delve into the interactions between the zombies and signaled them to divide themselves.

Although he didn't want to let a few zombies sit on the mutant wolves, they would definitely slow down the overall speed if they moved on foot.

"Would you like to experience the feeling of the little monkey's shoulders? You can see all the mountains from a high place," he asked Li Zhuang.

Li Zhuang walked towards the little monkey slowly and looked very relaxed, but in fact, all his muscles were tense to ensure that he could react immediately if attacked.

Fortunately, the little monkey had been with Lu Weiyi for the past few months and had come into contact with a lot of humans. In addition, Li Zhuang had been hanging around in front of it for a long time, so it even stretched out its hand towards Li Zhuang, indicating that it would stand in the palm of its hand and send him up.

No zombies on Qin Jin's side dared to ride with him, so in the end Yu Li and Xu Xiao took Cheng Qi along. Fortunately, Yu Li was still a teenager, so the three of them didn't seem crowded.

After the distribution was completed, Lu Weiyi finally lay down again. Li Zhuang and Qin Jin discussed the next step with each other. Lu Weiyi very comfortably built a mini house on the little monkey's back with small green branches, and even provided a place for him to sleep.

The bumpy ride was like a cradle, and when Lu Weiyi woke up, they had entered another strange place, and the plants growing around them were no longer the familiar ones.

"Didn't they say the distance wasn't far?" Lu Weiyi came out of a small room that looked like a cage, yawning and calling out to Qin Jin who was still moving.

"Do you still believe in Qin Xing?" Qin Jin was speechless.

Lu Weiyi was speechless, "I see it's not far away on the map."

"The entire country is not that big when drawn on the map," Qin Jin said coldly, "Think about it, it's impossible for them to give us the recent addresses. They have needs of their own. I have discussed with Mr. Li, and these two places they gave us are probably really not going to be mined, so it's worth it."

But... the distance is really not close.

It took them three days of walking at the speed of the mutant giant wolf before they finally reached the place marked on the map.

They galloped along the way and encountered hardly any attacks, but when they arrived near the coal mine, the scene was completely different.

The surrounding trees looked like they were before the apocalypse. Their height did not seem to have changed. Only the trees on the ground were so densely packed and crisscrossed that it was difficult for humans to enter. The huge mutant wolves could not get in at all.

After using his special powers to investigate, Li Zhuang confirmed that this was the place. "This is at the border of Shanxi Province and Mongolia. In the early days of the apocalypse, there was no trace of living people here. It would be even more impossible to come here to search for supplies in the future. It looks like it is still well preserved."

After Li Zhuang finished speaking, he took out a telescope and glanced at the factory building at the foot of the mountain that had collapsed and could not be recognized in its original appearance. "That's the coal washing plant. We can go there first to take a look and rest."

Qin Jin had no objection, and Cheng Qi and the others would not say anything either, so they headed towards the factory at the foot of the mountain.

Soon they appeared nearby. This place looked like a small family quarters, with only a few small buildings and more machines around.

There are very few mutant animals walking on the ground, and most of them are species similar to crows wandering in the sky.

"It should be a crow, right?" Li Zhuang looked at the big black bird with a huge head and a walking posture, feeling a little unsure.

"That should be it. Just hearing the sound of this crackling makes me feel terrified." Lu Weiyi looked at the blackness hovering in the sky and had a bad feeling. He lowered his voice unconsciously and turned to Qin Jin who was not far away. "I heard that this has a bad meaning. Have you noticed anything?"

"Do zombies count?" While Qin Jin was speaking, the zombies in the apartment had already walked out in a very orderly manner. Their formation was neat and their steps were consistent. It was obvious that they were under control.

Li Zhuang glanced at Lu Weiyi, who winked in the direction of Qin Jin.

Cheng Qi was about to go down to deal with it, but Li Guang jumped off the body of the mutant giant wolf first, controlled the small plants to quickly deal with all the zombies, and turned around to hand all the harvested crystal cores to Qin Jin.

Qin Jin took it calmly with a very calm attitude, which made Lu Weiyi envious.

Li Zhuang carried out a few bottles of wine from the room that combined the security guard and the convenience store next to him. He immediately saw the envy that was overflowing from Lu Weiyi. He suddenly felt that Lu Weiyi, who had returned to normal, gave people a more childish feeling. "It's not like you haven't experienced it before."

"How can it be the same? I still have to pay you wages," Lu Weiyi muttered in a low voice, causing Li Zhuang to laugh.

"There are some usable things in there. No one has been here before. Do you want to take a look?"

"Put everything away," Lu Weiyi said, then he remembered Qin Jin who was traveling with him, "Do you need anything?"

"Nothing is missing." These things of human beings are just a way for zombies to satisfy their appetite. What's worse, they have no sense of taste. It's just a habit at best. Qin Jin never joins in the fun.

Lu Weiyi also wanted to show off his leadership style, but the huge machinery on the ground needed space to be stored. In this comparison, Qin Jin seemed too pretentious.

But he couldn't expect a zombie with a few subordinates to do the work, so he could only get off the little monkey and walk towards the large equipment in the factory.

After a round of shopping, Li Zhuang returned with a full bag. He threw a small bag to Lu Weiyi. Lu Weiyi took it and found it was a bag of chocolates.

"Not expired?" He opened it and smelled it. It still had the sweet scent of chocolate, but it was a little melted due to the high temperature. He put one in his mouth, but still couldn't help complaining, "How many preservatives are put in this thing?"

"It's good enough that they're edible." Li Zhuang threw another bag of candy that children liked to Qin Jin. "Some of it has melted, but it's still edible."

Qin Jin wanted to refuse but paused when he saw the little boy on the packaging bag. He said thank you and handed it to Cheng Qi, who cooled it down and put it into the space.

The mutant crows that occasionally attacked from overhead were slapped away by the little monkey. Cheng Qi and several zombies would also lend a hand. Li Zhuang stood in the spacious factory yard, all he could see was black due to the long-term coal dust. "I will dig all the equipment out of the ground, you keep it."

Lu Weiyi gestured OK to him.

Li Zhuang took a step forward and put his hand on the ground. Zhang Qing, who was riding on a mutant giant wolf with Li Guang, also jumped down. However, unlike Li Zhuang's coolness when he jumped down, he staggered when he landed and almost lost his balance. He was supported by Li Guang, who jumped down with him, and avoided falling.

It has been several days, and he still hasn't seemed to have recovered. His eyes were dull, which made Lu Weiyi more and more certain that Qin Jin must have done something.

He glanced at Qin Jin, the man was riding a mutant giant wolf alone, with a straight posture and a kind of "turtle-like" look. He obviously saw the situation here, but did not stop it.

Zhang Qing walked up to Li Zhuang with a bit of stupidity, and imitated his movements, leaning over and putting his hands on the ground. As the earth-related supernatural power was used, all the machines in the factory were dug out from the ground and sent to Lu Weiyi like a shipping belt. Lu Weiyi controlled the small green branches to put all into the space.

After walking around the factory and putting all the equipment into the space, they returned. The mutant animals in the factory had been cleared out by Qin Jin and several other people. They sat at the door of an apartment that was relatively well preserved. Cheng Qi should have gone inside to investigate the situation, while Yu Li and Xu Xiao were still hiding in the corner.

Before it got dark, Li Zhuang and Qin Jin decided to go take a look nearby and collect as much coal as possible that could be put into the space.
