Chapter Seventeen: Qi Han, the Richest Man

"Why?" Shen Qingyu asked, puzzled.

"If it doesn't rain yet and the seeds can't be planted this year, the autumn harvest will be affected, and the prices of rice and flour will rise significantly."

Shen Qingyu understood immediately. After thinking for a moment, she took out all the money she had on her: "Then give me several hundred catties of rice, flour, and cooking oil..."

The skinny donkey gratefully licked Shen Qingyu's hand and the water ladle, then rolled its long tongue around Shen Qingyu's face.

Shen Qingyu quickly pushed it away and slapped it on the donkey's face: "Are you trying to get yourself killed? What if you spit all over my face later?"

The skinny donkey, after being beaten for trying to please someone, cried out in grievance, "Ah, I'm hungry, I'm hungry..."

If you won't let me lick it, then I won't lick it!

Why slap someone in the face?
